Very efficiently, Liu Zilang swapped his Tommy Gun for an M16 which he often used.
Even so, he would have loved to continue using the Tommy Gun.
The only problem was that players rarely carried .45 bullets around.
On the other hand, Zhang Xiaotong decided to go with the S12K after being advised by Liu Zilang. Apart from that, she looted a couple of throwables and medical items.
Nevertheless, soon enough when they arrived on the third floor, footsteps were heard coming from downstairs.
Clearly, the players downstairs had begun moving up.
Upon hearing them, Liu Zilang said without any hesitation, “Stay here and block them, I’ll be back in a while.”
‘Ah?’
Zhang Xiaotong was startled and began to panic. “I… I’m scared that I won’t be able to stop them…”
“Don’t worry, just aim at the stairs and keep shooting!” Liu Zilang encouraged her without turning back to look. “You can do it!”
“I can do it!” Zhang Xiaotong clenched her fists as she assured herself.
Then, human figures were seen on the stairs.
“Bam, bam, bam, bam-!”
A series of explosive gunshots filled the air.
Before the first player on the stairs could peek, he was taken aback by Zhang Xiaotong’s shots.
Frightened, he scrambled away.
“F*ck! Who’s that! That firepower is d*mn strong!”
“Don’t ask, it must be Xiaotong-chan!”
“…”
After being suppressed by Zhang Xiaotong, the players on the second floor were extremely frustrated.
As the fiery gunshots had drawn their attention away, they were unaware that Liu Zilang had jumped down from the third floor long ago and was about to outflank them from behind with his M16.
Eventually, the players on the second floor heard footsteps from downstairs.
Initially, they were unbothered as they thought that it was the footsteps of other fans who had come to assist them.
However, once they saw one of them being knocked out by Liu Zilang with an M16, two of the players came to a sudden realization!
‘F*ck!
‘It’s Vic the brute!’
Despite that, it was all too late.
What did Asia’s fastest M16 look like?
During one of the interviews in the Asia Qualifier, a Singaporean player mentioned, “Once gunshots are heard from Vic’s M16, everything’s over!
“His shots are accurate and his timing at pulling the trigger is perfect!”
Almost in the blink of an eye, the remaining two players were knocked out.
Right then, Zhang Xiaotong made her way downstairs and noticed one of the players crawling on the floor. Evidently, that player had another teammate upstairs.
Therefore, she walked up to him firmly and killed him with a single shot.
“F*ck… Was she always this cruel?”
“She’s gone, she’s gone! Xiaotong-chan has been taken away to the dark side!”
“Thud, thud, thud-!”
At that moment, another set of footsteps was heard coming from above them.
“Quick, head toward the motorcycle.”
While Liu Zilang instructed her, he retrieved frag grenades and threw them on the floor.
By the time the two of them left the staircase, a series of explosions were heard!
“Boom-!”
In a trice, bursts of violent flames were seen in the stairway, causing surging heat waves to blast out.
Without looking back, Liu Zilang ran together with Zhang Xiaotong toward their motorcycle.
Nonetheless, the second he left the building, he heard gunshots above him!
The gunshots sounded rapid, powerful, and intense… but they did not appear to be accurate.
‘What’s going on… a flying kick?’
Just as Liu Zilang realized what was happening and was ready to counterattack…
‘Pccht!’
When he turned to look at the player, his eyes twitched.
The player had jumped down from the rooftop and ended up being sprawled out on the ground. In the end, he turned into a crate!
“F*ck me… is he an idiot?”
“2333, this is how landing as a crate really looks like!”
“How dare he attempt a flying kick when he’s so incompetent? What an embarrassment! He has embarrassed us!”
Liu Zilang shook his head as well. Evidently, that fan of his had miscalculated the damage he could take from jumping off the building. Hence, it resulted in a dramatic scene.
Of course, it was possible that the player planned to die from his act but unfortunately overestimated his shooting skills…
Once Liu Zilang and Zhang Xiaotong reached their motorcycle, they hopped onto it.
Looking at his fans that were dashing out of Prison one after another, Liu Zilang gave a sneering smile. “Bye-bye!”
“Vroom, vroom, vroom-!”
As he stepped on the motorcycle’s accelerator, they sped out of Prison and headed toward the hills.
With that being said, there were quite a number of players around Prison who were late to the fight since they did not have any vehicles.
When they saw Liu Zilang and Zhang Xiaotong getting away on a motorcycle, they were dumbfounded such that they just watched them leave.
‘What’s going on?’
Due to the fact that players from different squads were unable to communicate from afar and that they were not updated with the real-time situation because of the time delay, the late players were there to collect Liu Zilang’s dead body.
After all, with the number of players encircling Prison, it was impossible for Liu Zilang to escape the place.
In spite of that, the players who had left with a motorcycle did not seem like them.
‘F*ck…’
‘Did they really manage to escape?’
…
A brief moment later, Huan Yu from the “4 Emperors Squad” that had tried to snipe Liu Zilang and Brother Li in the previous match spoke in his team’s YY voice chat.
Being on a slope in Shelter as he watched the delayed live stream, he held his AWM up as he shook his head.
“Tsk, tsk… mobs. Looks like we’ll have to make a move.”
“The problem is, who knows where Vic is hiding?” Zejw asked.
Randy rubbed his chin and then waved his hand. “Don’t worry, there’s only a one-minute delay. Once they stop later, we’ll be able to locate them. I doubt he can keep running away with Xiaotong-chan.”
It was then when WolfA suddenly shouted, “Eh? Listen, it sounds like a motorcycle!”
Zejw furrowed his brows and then turned to ask, “Did Vic and Xiaotong-chan escape with a motorcycle earlier?”
“Mmm.” Huan Yu nodded slightly and then held his AWM up.
Through his 8x scope, he saw a speeding motorcycle.
‘Two female characters with pony-tails, check!
‘M16 and 98K, S12K and AK, check!’
Huan Yu paid full attention to them as he was thrilled. “It’s them, it’s Vic and Xiaotong-chan!”
On the spur of the moment, the other three players who were prone on the hill were on the lookout too.
“Snap!”
Randy snapped his fingers and grinned as he fixed his gaze on them. “It’s time to show them what real elites look like!”
“For justice!”
“For glory!”
“For the pride of the 2 million fans in his live streaming channel!”
“For Azeroth![1]”
“Kill Vic! Capture Xiaotong-chan alive!”
As the four of them yelled, their blood boiled!
The whole scene appeared as if a few warriors had overcome all their obstacles in an underground city with mighty swords, and they were finally faced with the devil king. Furthermore, on a crystal bed that was a distance away from the warriors, a sleeping princess awaited.
At the same time, Zhang Xiaotong noticed the four players on the hill as they passed by the area.
Confused, she asked, “Are those four players your fans too? Why do they look so silly?”
“Uh…” Liu Zilang thought for a while before he guessed, “They’re probably disconnected from the game.”
“Ah! That’s great!” Zhang Xiaotong was elated. “Let’s go collect our welfare!”
Clearly, Zhang Xiaotong had set her eyes on the few players who seemed to be disconnected from the game.
This was because her first kill ever was a disconnected player who had been automatically ejected from the plane at the end of the flight route…
