"Aye Ricky! You already hit the new girl? Niiiccce!"
"Nah man, she wanted to know a little bit about the boys. She'd never let me, even if I wanted to."
'Fucking asshole.'
I wander across the hall and into my room.
"How long have you been in my fucking room?"
"Well hello to you too Ricky."
"Get the fuck out Layla."
She walks over to me and puts her hands on my chest,
"But Ricky, I miss you papi."
I smack her hands off of me.
"I don't give a shit. Now get the hell outta here, you know you can't be within 100 yards of me."
"But Ricky I love you!"
My blood is boiling, it's taking a lot of self control for me to not hit a woman.
"Layla, if you loved me, you wouldn't have fucked that other guy."
I spit my words out as if they were poison.
"Ricky, I was drunk! I needed you but you weren't there and besides,"
She puts her hand on her stomach,
"I'm pregnant Ricky and it's yours."
"LAYLA, I SAID GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!"
My sudden outburst makes her jump.
"But Ricky-"
"I swear to god, if I have to tell you one more damn time i'll kill you."
She looks at me and down at her feet. She drags herself out of room and down the stairs.
"Carlos, the next time that crazy bitch gets in here, it'll be your ass."
"Y-yessir."
I close my door and throw off my shirt and change into my boxing shorts.
I make my way down to the gym.
"Yo, back so soon Ricky?"
"Yeah, I didn't think that i'd be this pissed."
I start punching the bag.
"Is it Layla again?"
"Esa puta puta ¡La mataré la próxima vez que la vea!"
"Ha, you have every right to."
***
I sit in the corner of the rink, exhausted from fighting.
"Aye ese, go get some sleep. If it'll help, go sleep with the new girl, she's a hot little pice of ass."
"No way mane, she's definitely not like that."
He helps me up and I stagger back to my room. Before I walk in, I stop by her door.
'Should I knock? Is she asleep yet? Should I even be at her door?!'
I step away and head towards my shower.
"Why the fuck am I even concerned about her? She's a damn killer, no better than me."
I let the hot water hit my face. I try to wash away today's event but they're sewn into my flesh. I cut the water off and wrap my towel around me.
Once I hit my bed, I have no energy to put clothes on. I'm more tired than I thought.
'I hope your first day was better than mine, Zero.'
