198 Luke Jackson vs Tang Yan

Name:King of Sports Author:David_Tieku
Under this atmosphere, Tang Yan and Luke Jackson completed their preparations before the match, and then boarded the ring.

Jackson appeared excited as he took office, throwing a combo of punches across the air.

His punching speed was very fast, and as this set of punches came down, it immediately attracted a burst of cheers and whistles from the audience.

Seemingly satisfied with the response of the audience. He moved his right leg forward, bent his right and left hands at a right angle, and raised his biceps to show off his muscles.

The cheers and whistles of the audience became even louder.

It could be seen that Jackson's display was very popular with them.

Even the referee waited for him to finish his little show, before he brought him and Tang Yan to the center of the ring.

The opening interaction only seemed to make Jackson more confident. As the referee began to go through the usual rules of the game, he just stared at Tang Yan with disdain.

Tang Yan smiled lightly and shook his head.

Seeing Tang Yan's reaction, Jackson frowned and then said with a hint of threat: \"You still have the chance to laugh now but just wait till the first punch catches you in the face. \"

\"Okay, I'll be waiting.\" Tang Yan shrugged lightly.

\"Good! Good!\" Jackson said, his eyes full of fierceness, \"This is what you asked for!\"

Tang Yan didn't bother responding anymore.

At this time, the referee finished going through the introduction and sent them back towards their corners.  His right hand swung down and then he retreated.

Ding! Ding!

With the ring of the bell from the sidelines, the fight between the two sides officially started!

Almost the same instant the bell rang, Tang Yan launched an attack.

Boom!

A muffled sound rang out.

Jackson's defense was timely, but it was uncomfortable to be hit by Tang Yan like a punching bag.

Left jab, right hook, left jab, right jab, left hook.

Another set of punches were launched and Jackson was beaten further back.

There was an uproar at this scene.

Even the commentators on scene screamed in shock.

This was different from what they had predicted before the match!

However, Tang Yan was also slightly surprised. His punches were all mixed up, he was swarming Jackson but Jackson could still maintain his defense. The same combo that had proved highly effective at the Asian Games was being negated. Sure enough, the class of boxers here was much stronger.

Left hook, right jab, left uppercut, right uppercut.

Tang Yan finished a set of combos and followed with another set of combos.

Jackson was forced to back off again and again, but his sturdy defense was always in place.

Right hook, Left hook, right jab, left jab.

But just as Tang Yan stabbed out with his left, Jackson bobbed sideways and hammered a left hook towards Tang Yan's ribs, but Tang Yan deftly arched back and avoided it.

Seeing an opportunity to get out his passive position, Jackson lurched forward.

Tang Yan backed away, to give ground, as Jackson returned the favor. Smothering him under an avalanche of blows and driving him to the ropes, Jackson's hands worked tirelessly at Tang Yan's defense — over-hand rights, short lefts,  left hooks and jolting uppercuts.

Tang Yan covered and retreated slowly. Then all of a sudden, he ducked his head, went in under Jackson's right and threw two right hooks towards his body but Jackson lowered his defense and blocked before throwing a right jab at Tang Yan's face, forcing him back in order to dodge.

But Tang Yan was right back on him, throwing a barrage of combos which Jackson adeptly blocked as the two fell into a stalemate.

\"Ding! Ding!\"

Just then the bell for the end of the first round sounded from the sidelines.

There was another uproar from the audience. This time, regret that Tang Yan failed to defeat Jackson.

Tang Yan withdrew his hand and retreated back to his corner of the boxing ring.

3 minutes a round was truly short.

Jackson also returned to his corner, but compared with Tang Yan's relaxed appearance, he was not so comfortable, he couldn't help shaking his hand to reduce the numbness.

\"Damn it!\" He cursed, he completely underestimated Tang Yan's strength.

\"Stop letting him take control. Be proactive, take the initiative to attack!\" Jackson's coach emphasized constantly in his ear.

Jackson nodded vigorously. Although he withstood the first round, if all he did was defend he would eventually slip up or lose on points. Only by launching an offensive would he have hope of winning.

Tang Yan stood up again, Qin Hailong didn't say much during the break, he was just relieved to see Tang Yan's performance.

After the two were ready, the referee waved his hand and signaled the match to continue.

Ding! Ding!

The bell on the sidelines rang and the second round began.

Jackson seized the initiative this time and didn't wait for Tang Yan to attack. He bound towards Tang Yan with a right hook.

His advantage was his power. As long as one of his punches hit, he could follow up with a combo of punches and switch up the situation.

Tang Yan was delighted to see Jackson attacking.

In the first round, he took the initiative to attack, but he had underestimated Jackson, who turtled up and blocked all his blows.  With Jackson so tightly closed up, it was hard to find a gap to attack and get any significant blows in.

But now with Jackson taking the initiative to attack and open up. He would have a proper chance to find an opening.

His left hand clung to his head in a semi-framed posture.

Almost at the same time, Jackson's right hand flicked out.

Boom!

Jackson's swing directly hit Tang Yan's arm.

However, Tang Yan shifted onto his right foot and slid to the right, and the unloading system combined with his training before allowed him to easily carry the blow.

At the same time, his right hook was already heading towards Jackson's face.

Jackson had thrown out a combo, so his right hook was followed by a left jab. His jab ran head-on to Tang Yan's punch.

However, Tang Yan's punch was a right hook and obviously held more strength behind it. He directly pushed Jackson's punch aside and rocked him just enough to keep him off-balance.

Now facing Jackson's unobstructed face, he lashed out with a left hook.

Bam!

Getting hit, Jackson felt his consciousness slip for a second. Like Tang Yan, Jackson trained to increase his punch resistance which allowed him to train his body and arms. This was the key to his ability to take on Tang Yan's continuous combination of punches, but taking punches to the body and arm wasn't the same as the face.

But instinctively he shot out a left hook that caught Tang Yan on the ribs, jarring him.

But gritting his teeth, Tang Yan jabbed with his left, jabbed and jabbed again. All the whilst circling to his right.

He didn't want to give Jackson another chance to recover.

He stung him with three lightning left jabs and moved in close.

Left hook, right hook, left uppercut, right uppercut....

His combos connected over and over again, Jackson instinctively reached out to resist but Tang Yan slipped his clinches and returned to shooting out combos.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

Jackson was shaken by Tang Yan and turned into a punching bag stuck in a vicious cycle unable to escape.

The audience at the scene was dumbfounded, and some of the females in the audience couldn't help but stretch out their hands to cover their faces. It was turning into a cruel scene.

\"Stop! Stop!\"

Seeing the situation deteriorating, the referee reached out and pulled Tang Yan back.

When Tang Yan moved back, Jackson instantly seemed to have lost his support. He stumbled to his knees, dazed.

The referee rushed up to check on him.

As the referee called it, there was a burst of cheers on the scene.

TKO!

Tang Yan directly TKO'd Jackson at the beginning of the second round!
