"Pan Yu." Song Feng shouted.

"Yes Sir."

In response, the stern-faced man who had been surrounded by the older archers came forward.

"Take them to the practice field and check out their skills, then give me a report."

"Yes, coach."

Song Feng nodded and glanced at the crowd again. His eyes lingered on Tang Yan for a while. Then he turned away and left.

"Follow me!" After Song Feng left, Pan Yu wasn't polite and immediately shouted.

Pan Yu led them over to the practice site for testing.

His deterrence abilities seemed to be no less than Song Feng's.

Responsible for Tang Yan was a veteran archer called Dong Jie. He looked to be about twenty-five years old. He didn't speak much and only directed Tang Yan for a while before standing to the side like a wooden figurine.

Tang Yan was just as happy to stand in silence. Even in his previous life, he hadn't been very outgoing, being a man of few words. Other than a handful of close friends, he didn't have many relationships.

The content of the test was very simple; they had to shoot 72 arrows, but there was no time stipulation.

So Tang Yan slowed down his speed, and began to observe the performances of the others.

Looking around, he couldn't help but nod in admiration.

These people really deserved to be the best in their respective cities. The average score was around 610 points. Shooting 72 arrows wasn't just a test of accuracy but also endurance.

"Don't just look at other people, pay attention to yourself." At this moment, Dong Jie actually spoke up reprimanding him.

Tang Yan nodded, focusing back on his own shooting.

Though the system had improved his body, even his endurance wasn't enough to shoot a perfect score of 720 with his current fitness level. He had been constantly training to improve his fitness level. If he shot, he could score between 640 to 660 points.

The continuous 10 pointers didn't cause too much change in the expression of Dong Jie. He just stared at the target and continued to count his points.

"Are you a waste?"

Suddenly, a loud shout rang out throughout the practice area.

Everyone stopped their actions and turned to look in the direction of the shout.

Tang Yan also turned around and saw the person yelling was Pan Yu.

The person he was shouting at was unexpectedly his roommate, Li Cunde.

"I...." Li Cunde wanted to say something, but his face flushed completely red as he stuttered.

"This is only 50 meters, so how the hell are you shooting off target? How did trash like you make it into the provincial team?!" Pan Yu coldly shouted.

Tang Yan's brows wrinkled up. Li Cunde was one of the few archers he saw with the potential to become his opponent in the future.

This Pan Yu was going after him so harshly because of one shot.

"I... my endurance is slightly... weak." Li Cunde stammered for a long time before finally saying with a red face.

"So you wanna be an archer, but you can't endure shooting arrows? Is this some sort of joke to you?" Pan Yu asked coldly.

Li Cunde's face became redder and redder.

"Sun Ji, take over here, this was a waste of time." Pan Yu said to an old team member behind him, then he turned around and left.

After Pan Yu left, the training ground quickly recovered to its previously quiet state. Only the shooting of arrows could be heard.

If Song Feng's speech had knocked down their enthusiasm a peg, Pan Yu's attitude had killed it completely.

At the end of the day's training, Song Feng didn't appear nor did Pan Yu.

Set free, most of the newcomers left the training hall immediately.

Tang Yan, however, didn't head back immediately. Because of the grouping arrangement, he trained 50 meters during the daytime. However, after upgrading Li Guang's abilities, 50 meters was no longer difficult for him. What he really needed to train for was 70 meters, so with everyone gone, he decided to train alone.

He ate a little outside, then he headed straight back to the practice field.

Twang!

Boom!

Arriving at the training hall, he heard a muffled sound coming from inside. It sounded like someone was training.

Hadn't everyone left?

He walked in with doubt and found someone still training.

It turned out to be Dong Jie who had supervised his training earlier.

Dong Jie felt someone enter and turned around, seeing Tang Yan, his eyes flashed with a strange light.

"Dong Jie is still here so late?" Tang Yan asked politely.

"Additional training." Dong Jie faintly returned those two words, then turned his head back and continued to train.

To Dong Jie's indifference, Tang Yan was used to it. Not forcing anymore needless conversation, he found a quiet place in the corner and quickly warmed up.

After a quick warm-up, he went to the 70m section and began practicing.

Twang!

Boom!

He looked up to the display by the target and the number displayed was 8.

The provincial teams training area was much more upscale than Lotus City's. Not only did the score appear digitally, but the targets were also replaced automatically. When the number of arrows reached a certain limit, it would rotate to a new target board.

He stretched a little, then took up a second arrow from the arrow pot and aimed it before shooting.

This time, he adjusted slightly and shot. It was better, a 9 pointer.

After hitting the 9th ring, he got ready to take out his third arrow.

But then, he noticed that Dong Jie was no longer shooting. Turning his head, he saw Dong Jie staring at him.

Thinking that Dong Jie was shocked by his skills, he laughed and prepared to speak.

"You'd better change shooting booths." Dong Jie said suddenly.

"Change booths?" asked Tang Yi stunned, looking at him inexplicably.

He was currently in the final booth located by the wall of the 70m area. Since it was by the wall,he had somewhere to lean up his things, like his arrow pot, so he could shoot quicker.

Why was Dong Jie suddenly telling him to change booths?

"That booth is Pan Yu's." Dong Jie didn't wait for him to ask this time and said directly.

"His booth?" asked Tang Yan furrowing his brows.
