Chapter 171 - The Long Awaited Guest

Meanwhile in the outskirts of the vampire kingdom, the huge mountains were keeping their necks high in the shiny light of the moon.

Under the starry sky of the dark night blanket, in the middle of those two mountains, stood the castle of noble Lord Iñigo De Raizel!

The Lord was impatiently waiting for the man, who had earlier garnered his attention. Tapping his foot on the floor, while sitting on his throne Iñigo de Raizel was losing his patience.

It seemed as if Lord Sinclair was a little late and the vampire noble Lord was counting every single passing second, something unsaid was troubling his mind.

'I should better wait for him there in my chamber.'

Lord Raizel thought to himself and stood up from his throne, the black robe on his broad shoulders clacked as soon as the terrifying figure rose up, in the midst of shadows.

"Sentry!"

His coarse voice rung through the courtroom and echoed in the hall, as the Lord called out to his sentry to instruct him with further strategy.

"Send the Lord of Spirit Realm to my personal chamber whenever he will arrive."

The sentry bowed his head obediently and acknowledged the fact that his master was angry. The poor soul didn't know that what he had inferred was completely wrong. He mistook Lord Sinclair's arrival for another toy of noble Lord.

The pungent fragrance of some strange flowers was filling the room, which was pleasant to nerves yet had a queer appearance, as the shiny black flowers were scattered on the floor creating a romantic atmosphere, dim fancy lanterns were absent from the scenario.

'These fools!'

Lord Iñigo sighed helplessly as soon as he opened the door of his chamber and stepped inside. His man servants mistook Sinclair's arrival and the thought made him cringe.

Although, the vampire noble Lord had created his gay image, all by himself!

Why did the Lord choose to risk his manly image?

Don't you think that someone with a gay image would become more approachable?

A person, perhaps had deliberately created his image like that to mingle between normal vampires. So, that people would not fear him to the extent of peeing in his pants.

The question arises here that, if Lord Iñigo De Raizel wasn't gay actually then why he had requested the presence of the emperor of Spirit Realm?

Every square corner had an empty space for the lanterns yet there was no light in the room except the moonlight, which was peeking into the chamber from the large hole drawn out of the roof, special incense was lit to enhance the capability and to draw a sensual scenario.

The walls were dipped into the ink of black which left no room for anyone to predict the surroundings or to see anything or any person present in the room. Long veins of black leaves and those strangely pitch black flowers were surrounding each wall, as if the black paint of the wall was again covered with the wallpaper of those jet black flowers.

Everything was decorated in the same way as his man servants had shown their expertise, similarly they had done previously when the man was brought to him.

The roof had a ventilation of a large hole in the midst, which was allowing the moonlight to illuminate the strangely decorated chamber, the light was falling on the black flowers which glowed as if some magical silver powder was sprinkled on them, which reflected the silvery light of the moon.

The weird design of the chamber was odd, which seemed to belong to some other worldly being and in some supernatural dimension because of the queer flowers, which were reflecting the light effectively, slightly lightning up the room.

'Come on, Lord Sinclair MacLaverty, where are you? What's keeping you?'

Lord Iñigo could not comprehend  any reason for which Sinclair MacLaverty had put him on wait, despite knowing how undefeated being he was and how capable the vampire noble was.

The room seemed a void space, having no furniture and other necessities of daily use but had a bed in the middle, half of which came under the large hole of ventilation. It had curtains on three sides while the one which was tucked to the wall had the back of the bed fixed into it.

The vampire noble Lord had decorated the same room for Sinclair's arrival, did it have some features?

Of course, the mere room was soundproof and within those four walls no one could sense any supernatural being. Lord Iñigo de Raizel had specially designed the chamber by covering it with a shield, he didn't want his spies to be exposed.

Would they say anything themselves? Absolutely Not, they can't disobey the noble lord or else the blood pact will eat them up instantly.

•••

The noble Lord was sitting on the bed, while his back was tucked to the pillow, that had silken red covers, although the room was slightly lit by the moonlight but still it was hard to see his face clearly.

He had a wine glass with the long stem in his right hand and was sipping in the liquor carelessly, while his eyes were fixated towards the door, opposite to the bed. Lord Iñigo was finding it hard to wait for even more, this was the first time someone had set him up to wait but then again it was worth it, for the information which only Sinclair MacLaverty could provide him.

It seemed as if he was obliged to wait for him either impatiently or willingly, as his red demonic eyes were eerily darted towards the ingress of the chamber, which had a decoration of same black flowers as the frame of the door, the man had his one leg straightened and the other folded as he sat in the middle of the bed, upon red silk bed cover.

"My Lord, you have to wear these clothes to meet the master."

The was still closed but Lord Iñigo could hear the voice of the same messenger who had brought Phobe earlier, fell into the ears of Noble vampire Lord, Iñigo De Raizel.

The messenger had informed the noble Lord about the arrival of someone indirectly, into the forbidden territory or perhaps the poor soul was brought forcefully to serve the mighty vampire Lord.

Or was he someone important? Sinclair MacLaverty? Maybe.

Who would have ever thought that such a sinfully handsome man would be homos.e.x.u.a.l, and the chief of those sentries requested Sinclair MacLaverty to get dressed into the signature clothes.

A special clothing allotted to every single man before stepping into the chamber, the chief mistook Sinclair MacLaverty for the pet of Lord Iñigo and offered him the dress, right outside the door.

"Send him in, no need for such formalities !"

Lord Iñigo instructed him calmly while he continued to sip onto the liquor which was definitely fresh blood, which the sentry had earlier filled from the man's body, who was killed for betraying him and died of the blood pact curse.

As it was rumoured and the author has stated before, although, it was a pity for the Lord to have such s.e.x.u.a.l preference when the ladies were obsessively in love with him, and would wipe off all the princesses and concubines which were offered to the Lord as blood pet, Lord Iñigo was known to have a thirst for blood but he used to abide by the set rules of vampire society.

He had never taken interest in any lady, or had laid his red orbs onto any beauty in a sensual way, who were ready to sacrifice themselves to him, to die at his hands. The Lord had remained concerned with only blood and who would refuse a free meal.

Similarly many women offered to hold the position of Lord Iñigo blood pet, just to feel the mighty Vampire's touch on their jade skin and to feel the sinking of his sharp fangs into the crook of their necks.

But would have known that every man who had stepped into his bed chamber was not a pet, obliged to serve him s.e.x.u.a.lly or by offering his blood. In fact, those men were spies or his followers who were responsible to regulate the laws within the vampire kingdom.

In the vampire society the mere act was known to be sensual, it was similar to get craved by a man, and marked by him eventually in the end.

It remained an utmost wish of the vampire women to get desired by the noble Lord, as to be the only women of Lord Iñigo meant to take the decisions of vampire kingdom, to get the immense power through mating.

Marked and known as the lady of Lord Iñigo would bring them utmost respect and high acknowledgment, but still some dreams and wishes aren't meant to be fulfilled.

Although, the noble vampire Lord had many blood pets, who were all handsome men, but he had never marked any of them with his venom...until his eyes landed on the emperor of Spirit Realm, Lord Sinclair MacLaverty.

No, not for l.u.s.t rather it was something else.

"Yes, noble Lord."

The door which opened slightly ajar, immediately closed after getting the instructions from the vampire noble Lord. And there he was, the most awaited man, the Lord of Spirit Realm, Sinclair MacLaverty.

"I didn't know that I would get ridiculed by your men, Lord Iñigo De Raizel. I'm deeply hurt, sire!"

Sinclair's voice rose a little with a complaining tone, as soon as the wooden door closed behind him with a feeble creak.

"I apologise, Lord Sinclair MacLaverty that you had to experience such humiliation from my naive men. Tell me how can I be forgiven?"

Lord Iñigo De Raizel, the powerful noble vampire master, asked for forgiveness. The sight was not a thing that a person would witness every day.

The ruthless, cruel vampire was known never to surrender let alone portraying himself as weak. Then why did he deliberately put on the act in front of Sinclair MacLaverty?

Was it actually an act?

Or a genuine remark?

Why Lord Iñigo was not behaving his usual self?

Rather placing himself below Sinclair MacLaverty, within those walls!

But was the term true to describe him or the situation?
