Syna had plenty of things and theories going on in her brain.

But was it a correct assumption?

Regarding the Ghost Lord, she could change her mind but Syna was still unknown about Hades!

How could I not fear him then, when He could turn me into ashes within the snap of his fingers. It could be possible I mean, he could have this ability of burning bodies and souls by a blow of fire, like Hades, the ruler of the underworld.

"Are you sure? I mean did you hear the name carefully?"

His voice echoed in the room like thunder, the blue radiations were still surrounding his silhouette as I witnessed Sinclair's blonde short lengthened hair growing up to his shoulder.

It felt as if he was transforming, the whole scenario seemed like a caterpillar had formed a cocoon with the blue aura and now turned out being a butterfly!

I saw Sinclair's hazel orbs turning their color towards...heterochromic eyes! What!

The so called shifting thing didn't stop there, a dragon tattoo appeared on his shoulder which was travelling down to his abs, downwards towards his groin.

The only thing from which I had recognized him was the white towel wrapped around his waist.

"Y-yes. That's how he introduced himself to us."

I gulped barely whispering to him, and stared blankly in fear after replying. Soon the blue flames around his toned silhouette vanished at once he got the answer, and returned to normal.

"I'm sorry Syna. I'm so sorry to frighten you like this. My love, you are in great danger but I assure you that I will protect you... no matter what."

He took a few steps forward hovering onto me slowly and stretched his hand out to help.

Sinclair was aware from my reaction that I had became afraid of his sudden transformation which was triggered by his rage.

"Come, come here. Don't worry I won't hurt you, you know it. You don't have to fear me, Syna."

Sinclair nodded at me as if he was trying to persuade a frightened child.

I placed my shaky hand onto his and got up slowly, he wrapped his strong arms around my shoulders instantly, to pull me into a comfort zone.

"Just don't fear me, I'm sorry. I know it's hard in you, to...to cope with so many things in a single day. But I assure you, Syna, I will not hide anything from you, from now on!"

He pushed me gently towards the certain direction and as soon as I plopped into the bed, he crouched down on the floor on his knees while holding my hands.

I could see the sincerity of his words and I was sure that he would abide by his every vow, in this life.

"I know Syna, it's quite hard to believe all this and I'm fully aware that you need time to accept what  your destiny has written, without any objection."

He was speaking aiming to calm me down but my mind was running pessimistic and I was shivering due to fear.

"Y- you won't kill me, right?"

A tear left my eye as I blurted out my hunch, which of course, was a sudden thought.

"What? No! Why would I do that?

Listen Syna, you are my wife, my queen, okay. And why would I kill my other half? Well, I admit I wanted to but that's an old talk."

The man in front of me nearly pleaded, which slowed down the restless pace of my heart.

"Other half? Better half you mean?"

My voice again held a question, but I didn't mind being a nagging queen.

He scratched his cheek like I did a while ago and hesitated a bit before answering.

"Yeah that too and…It's like...you are that parrot which holds my life within her! So, killing you is equivalent to committing suicide but that's not the reason, which refrained me to kill you. Don't you dare think like that, Syna!"

"Means you are alive because of me?"

It was a new revelation for me, but  what type of bond was there between us? This was the thing which had intrigued me.

"Pretty much yes, and because of this fact someone tried to snatch you away, by marrying you in my name. There you will take the vow with some other man and here I would die of losing my mate."

He was narrating me the whole thing with a series tone, indeed I could sense the importance of the matter and his words.

Oh! So, that kind of bond was there between us, that's why I was able to hear his heartbeat and emotions. Indeed our bond was so strong, that I was holding someone's life within me, whoa!

It was simply, whoa!

"Oh! that's...that's scary but why would someone do that?"

He smacked my head gently with a smile, maybe my question was a stupid one which made him giggle.

"Because of the throne, you dummy. If I die then someone else would be next in the line to be entitled as the Ghost King."

Oh yeah!

It justifies!

So, it was a race and killing for the throne!

"Your brother?"

The only person popped up in my mind was his brother, if he really had one but I didn't fear spouting those words.

Sinclair simply sighed and shook his head.

"No. Jason would never do that. Someone has used his name to frame him. But I will find out the person soon, the lackey was killed by Elmore but still I'm unable to comprehend, that how did he get inside?"

He stood up from the ground and placed a gentle kiss on my forehead.

"You are better now. I should get going and you better hurry up to the office, we will do further chat there. I will be waiting for you, my love."

Sinclair winked at me and moved backwards but halted, as perhaps another thing had crossed his mind.

"Oh and yes I believe you will not inform about this BIG NEWS to your agency."

He emphasized those two words amusingly while smirking.
