In a soundless game, only Liao Su’s voice constantly rose and fell. “Brother Liang, are you really not going to speak? It’s not because an outsider is present, right? Someone is asleep? Who is asleep? You went to Beijing with someone else? Wah! And you’re staying in the same room? No way, then what about me? I’m the man who slept with you for two years!”
After opening the team voice chat, Liao Su had no scruples in whatever he was saying; he knew that You Liangxing was listening and he was too lazy to type. As he was speaking, he was also paying to attention to the person in the room, [don’t want to move].
When he saw the name, Liao Su constantly felt that he had seen the ID somewhere before. It seemed to float within the recesses of his memory, but he could not get a clear grasp on it even after thinking for awhile. However, he was not the sort of person who would feel uncomfortable in their body if they could not figure it out. If it escaped him, then forget it; in a blink of an eye, he tossed it into the back of his mind, and continued to chatter away at You Liangxing.
“It’s only been a few days; how did your rank rise so quickly?” The game entered the hero selection stage, and Liao Su picked the jungling hero Liu Bei. His voice was full of resentment. “Let me tell you, two days ago, I mustered up the courage to rush at the King’s division and I was one step away from the threshold. However, I ended up kneeling for eight consecutive matches, eight matches! I was so angry I threw my phone.”
Throughout his entire speech, You Liangxing did not choose a hero, while [don’t want to move] picked the marksman Hou Yi.
When he saw the other party’s choice, his hand stilled, no longer moving towards a mage. This was the first time he had seen [don’t want to move] select a hero that was meant for the novices. For the past few days, [don’t want to move] had always been inclined to mechanically challenging types. Yet today, without any rhyme or reason, he picked a conventional hero.
In the short moment where he paused, his other teammates had already filled in the mage and top lane positions. Thus, for the sake of completing the team line-up, he chose the healer Cai Wenji among the auxiliary heroes.
This was also the first time he officially played a hero who specialised in auxiliary. When it came to trying heroes, there was nothing that could not be tried.
The game entered the loading screen, and there was some delay in the transmission of Liao Su’s voice due to network factors. Only when the game issued the prompt “Welcome to King’s Glory,” did Liao Su’s voice become clearer.
“Brother Liang? Brother Liang?”
You Liangxing typed his reply: k2014; Speak.
Even if he was annoyed, he would still reply, and Liao Su grinned, saying: “You should make the best of your time to rank up. Who knows, maybe you’ll be in Xingyao before vacation ends! When that time comes around, we can try for the King’s division together.”
You Liangxing did not reply but Liao Su did not mind. As he was controlling Liu Bei to lead him into the jungle, he said: “Hey, for real! A teammate like me is hard to come by! Just wait and see; I’ll show you a hand.”
How could You Liangxing not know Liao Su? He sighed softly and followed the Hou Yi that [don’t want to move] was controlling and hurried down the bottom lane.
Once they started playing, it was unexpectedly and exceptionally smooth.
The hero that You Liangxing was using, Cai Wenji, had two main effects: the first was her dizzy spell, and the latter was her heals. Whenever she had damage output teammates around her, the two abilities that Cai Wenji had were disgusting enough to make her opponents start cursing at her. However, there were setbacks to heroes that specialised in auxiliary services. They were usually low in base health, their output was terrible and they had to rely on the teammates they were supporting in order to win.
Luckily, [don’t want to move] was a very reliable teammate.
When manipulating Cai Wenji, You Liangxing was responsible for causing dizziness, and when it landed on their enemy, the one second stun was more than enough for [don’t want to move] to bring the enemy’s health down by half. Although he was playing a conventional hero like Hou Yi, his actions were dexterous and there were virtually no wasted movements.
After killing the opposing side’s marksman, Hou Yi quickly attacked the tower. However, Cheng Yaojin, who had come to give his allies support, flipped over the wall, and used his first ability to stomp Hou Yi to a standstill in the tower range, and fissures appeared beneath their feet.
The tower’s attack damage was relatively high and Hou Yi had to retreat. However, what could be done when a thin-skinned hero’s health was too meagre; in the blink of an eye, Hou Yi only had a fraction of his health left. You Liangxing rushed to Hou Yi’s side, and his surroundings glowed green and it wrapped around Hou Yi who was within range. Then, both of them started to beat a retreat.
No matter how much damage Cheng Yaojin dealt to Hou Yi, You Liangxing would remedy the corresponding amount, before they finally reached the safe zone that their tower provided. Even though Hou Yi maintained a weak state of health throughout, he did not die.
— He healed enough.

I’ll do an update tomorrow to make up for it! OwO
