A pauldron connected to a vambrace and gauntlet is being displayed behind a glass case, we are all looking at how ancient this piece of armor is. The piece of armor is too big for anyone to fit in it and we all can tell that it's heavier than it looks because it's not hollow and it's more like a statue made from metal than armor. Ivonna and King Gervase are squinting their eyes while leaning toward the glass case, they both notice that there are so many writings on it. King Gervase orders his secretary to open the glass case for him so he and Ivonna can take a good look at the piece of armor.
The secretary and the royal guards are carefully lifting the glass case from the display while Ivonna and King Gervase are waiting for them to fully lift the glass. Ivonna looks at me and she looks excited because this is something that she has never seen before. Ivonna slowly walks around so she can take a picture of the artifact and will be able to ask Eveth or the others to translate it for her. Once she's done taking a photo of the artifact, she walks toward me and leans into my ear.
"Do you think we can use this artifact as armor?"
I look at her while smirking and shaking my head then I lean toward her ear.
"Impossible, it's an artifact and you could try it but it's if you're allowed to put it on and make a hole in that artifact."
Ivonna sighs and crosses her arms in disappointment.
They manage to remove the glass case from the display, Ivonna, and King Gervase immediately tries to touch it but the secretary immediately warns them to be careful. I stand up behind Ivonna and I put my hands on her shoulder, I point my finger at the artifact while Ivonna keeps staring at it.
"This artifact is one of the six, there are other parts and I believe the Aarus Empire has two of them while the rest of them haven't been discovered yet."
Everyone is looking at me in disbelief and the first person to raise his hand is the secretary.
"Lord Trevor, how do you know there are a total of six parts of the artifact?"
I point at the artifact and walk around it.
"There's another one like this, but it's a different side. A breastplate, a helmet, and two leg armors. All of them have different writings on them and it's a message to everyone who finds them. If they're all attached, the message will complete each other and knows what's the content of the message."
The secretary is furrowing his forehead while raising his hand again.
"There's another thing that confuses me though. You said there are only three artifacts that have been discovered but there are more. Everyone knows that the Eluna Empire also has one of the artifacts, so isn't that mean we have a total of four artifacts?"
I shake my head while sighing and crossing my arms.
"It's an artifact but that's not the same as what we have here and what the Aarus Empire has. Each artifact represents the gods that used to live in the Orion, there are a total of 12 artifacts, 6 of them are in a form of a statue of armor, the one that the Eluna Empire has is a shiny black headdress."
King Gervase looks at me while furrowing his forehead.
"How can Lord Trevor know so much about the artifacts? How come nobody knows about this?"
King Gervase looks at his secretary and the secretary is lowering his head with a bit of shame.
"We have been looking for anyone who has the knowledge about the ancient time, but the only person who knows so much about it is Krestan, your highness. We would rather keep the history hidden rather than ask for his help after what he did to our people, your highness."
King Gervase is humming with understanding then he looks at me with curiosity.
"Is there anything that you know about the ancient time, Lord Trevor?"
I look at the artifact while nodding in agreement then look at him.
"I know enough about the ancient time but I believe there will be time for me to explain it to you, and that time isn't now your majesty. We are here to find a clue for the power that Ivonna possessed and we are running out of time, so we both need to hurry and find the answer to our problem."
King Gervase is nodding with understanding and then he decides to leave the treasury room and orders everyone to leave the room so both Ivonna and I have some privacy. Everyone is leaving the room and we both are just looking at them until they close the door behind them. Ivonna looks at me while crossing her arms and staring at the artifact, she tilts her head and looks at the words written on the armor.
"What am I supposed to do with this artifact, Trev?"
I look at her while raising my eyebrow.
"You should know by now what you should do, but before you do it, you should tell me what you need to do with the artifact."
Ivonna is pouting and then nodding with understanding.
Ivonna is staring at the artifact and she tries to decipher each letter that is carved on the armor by using the paper she used to copy Heugron's message and then looks at the paper where Eveth and the other heroes translated the message for her. I'm just staring at her while she's busy trying to translate the words with what she has but I know that won't help her at all.
Ivonna sighs and puts the papers into her inventory and she's already giving up on trying to translate the ancient language. She suddenly hums with understanding while tilting her head, she looks at me while raising her eyebrows.
"Wait, am I supposed to summon Heugron's Soul Essence and it will react to the artifact?"
I scoff and nod.
"That's right, that's the only way you know if you're on the right track."
Ivonna is humming with understanding while tapping her finger on her lips.
"So, with what you said earlier that each artifact represents each god, does that mean I have to find the right artifact so I don't have to waste the cooldown by summoning Heugron's Soul Essence on each artifact since it will take at least 4 days by checking the 4 artifacts that we have here. You said that I need to tell you before I use it, does that mean this artifact isn't the right one?"
I chuckle while nodding in agreement.
"That's right, this artifact doesn't belong to Heugron."
Ivonna is humming with understanding but then she points her thumb at the artifact.
"But Heugron's artifact is one of the parts of this one?"
I nod.
"That's right, but unfortunately, the artifact that you're looking for hasn't been discovered yet, or at least not here in the three sovereignties."
Ivonna is pouting again and then she looks at me.
"Can you give me a clue on how to find the artifact?"
I nod.
"The clue is simple, you need to remember the time during our battle with Alucard and what kind of event that happened during that time."
Ivonna is squinting and furrowing her forehead while thinking very hard.
"What kind of event..."
Ivonna raises her eyebrows and looks at me.
"Are you talking about the time I got possessed by Heugron?"
I nod in agreement.
"That's right, then you should know what triggered that event by now."
Ivonna is looking at the artifact while pursing her lips inward and furrowing her forehead but then she opens her mouth with a surprised expression.
"The divine power that Saintess Aria possessed!"
I nod.
"And?"
Ivonna is furrowing her forehead again while tapping her foot.
"Saintess Aria received that power from Saintess Eveth... Saintess Eveth..."
Ivonna snaps her fingers.
"Saintess Eveth descendant! I remember that every legendary hero has descendants! Are you trying to say that Saintess Eveth has a connection with Heugron?"
I smirk and nod.
"That's correct, Saintess Eveth is Heugron's descendant. The twelve gods are divided into men and women, each of them produced a single descendant, they keep the line away from each other. Heugron and one of the Goddesses produced a descendant and Saintess Eveth is one of them. That's why there are six of them, and Betelegues already planned everything from the start and took their descendant as the heroes of Orion. It keeps going like that, but from then, the heroes were chosen from the six legendary heroes' descendants and now it stopped because it's no longer from them but from us players to become the hero of the Orion."
Ivonna is humming with understanding but then she furrows her forehead with confusion.
"But Ezira is also a part of the legendary heroes like? But how come she's not a descendant from the 12 gods and goddesses?"
I tilt my head and smile.
"Ezira is an exception and that story is for another time. For now, we need to focus on getting the artifact, shall we go now?"
Ivonna nods in agreement.
"Okay, let's go."
