16 Chapter 16: Trouble with the Chancellor

It's a Friday night! Finally, classes are gone and I can go back to the love of my life! My television and the popcorn. The apple of my eye! After all, tomorrow is the thing that I dread the most. I have to go to that K-Pop Convention with Rose. That girl can't take no for an answer. I am also quite curious... what was that voice I heard in Charles's room.

Maybe a little bit of me-time can calm me.

I sigh as I wait for the microwave popcorn from popping.

"Finally I-" A knock echoed at the tiny room. I curse myself as I walk towards the door. Rolling my eyes on whoever was on the other side.

"Hello. What do you want?" I open the door.

"It seems like you aren't too grateful to see me aren't you?" Dean's angry tone made me sweat.

"I mean uh... Hi! Long-time no see!" I change the subject as I sigh.

What does he want from me now... Can't he see he is ruining my quality me time by knocking in my door? He's in his bed head and is wearing pajamas. Why is he here in the middle of the night?

"The chancellor would like to talk to you." He sighs. Clearly he either didn't want this to happen or he was woken up by the chancellor the middle of the night just to call me. I kind of feel bad for the guy.

"So come on and hurry up." He yawns the face of total dread is in his eyes.

This guy clearly wants to sleep.

"Why does the chancellor want me in the middle of the night? Can't he just call me in the morning?" I protested.

He sighs. "Just follow me. Please, I would like to continue back to my sleep but the chancellor keeps bothering me in the middle of the night by playing those annoying maracas he has, they are preventing me from getting my sleep."

"Fine alright." I come inside to put on my boy clothes however Dean stops me. "No need for your disguise, it's not like there are people outside in the middle of the night.

"Well aren't you outside?" I sarcastically smile.

"Alright then. Follow me." He leads the way under the cover of darkness. We walk to the Chancellor's office.

"Hello, Ms. Lisa. We meet again." The chancellor's shining face greets me as I awkwardly sit down. I look at the back to see the Dean staring at both of us to start our conversation.

"Hello to you too Chancellor." I greet him.

"According to Nina our nurse. That a few young gentlemen know that you are female. Is this true?" The Chancellor asks.

"Yes. Specifically, Matthew, Fred, and Charles know." I respond.

He sighs giving me a stern look. "Look. I told you to never let anyone know that you are female. The whole purpose of this experiment is the young gentlemen not knowing you are female."

"It's only a few people though. I don't think it would affect the experiment too much." I answer.

"I guess you are right." He lays his head down in the table.

I blush as I see him smile at me. His eyes enticed me with a little wink.

"You know it's rude to stare right?" The chancellor smiles.

"Uh! Why have this experiment though?" I change the subject.

"You see... I have been thinking of turning Golden Crown University into a CoEd University however I lack the experience with the learning ability of young ladies these days." He sighs and grabs a paper.

"As I look in your paper. Your grades are not really up to par with others. You see the curriculum is built with young men in mind meaning our teaching methods are suitable for boys." He explains.

My eyes widen as I realized. "Oh right. I noticed that this university doesn't get as many lectures as other universities and we do more hands-on work."

"That's right you see. According to studies a hands-on approach and a little competition in learning a good way to teach young men." He responds.

For being such a flirt he is very knowledgable and definitely knows what he's doing...

"I didn't know you were this smart Chancellor." I laugh.

"Do you honestly think that someone dumb is able to be a Chancellor of a University." The Dean answers in the back.

"That's alright people always think of me as a bit of an airhead." He laughs it off.

"Now sorry for interrupting you in your personal time. You can leave now." The Chancellor ask me to leave.

"Hey! You apologize to her by taking her time but you have no sense of shame when you wake me up in the middle of the night?" Dean throws a little tantrum. The Chancellor laughs patting Dean's head. "Fine, I'll just give you a raise." He laughs. "Well, you better!" The dean pouts as I leave the room.

I guess they are really good friends, aren't they.. I didn't know the Chancellor can be professional since the first time I met him he was a bit of a flirt. Guess you shouldn't judge someone from first impressions.
