68 Chapter 67: Matthew To The Rescue

"Is this true?" The librarian asked again for clarification. This uneasy feeling in my stomach grew more apparent as everyone looked at Damien with malicious intent towards him. No one in the room was on his side and everyone was going to try and blame him for everything.

He remained silent, completely being calm over the situation.

"It's this guy's fault!" "This person started the fight! That person should be punished!" Those words were music to the man's ears as everyone was telling the librarian lies. The librarian nodded to all of these claims since no one was on Damien's side.

I gritted my teeth at the sight of these men just standing there letting all of this happen. I had enough of this. "You're wrong," I stated out loud getting the attention of the librarian and everyone else.

"I find it really ridiculous that you wimps are being submissive towards this guy. You clearly saw it with your own two eyes that he was trying to harass that person and you guys are saying "OH THAT PERSON'S FAULT" just cause that guy is popular. I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW YOU GUYS SLEEP AT NIGHT!" I exploded with anger as I yelled at the guys who were staying silent, none of them were able to say a word since they knew damn well that my words are right.

"I'm really confused. What really did happen? The group of people here said that it was this young lady's fault but now this person over here is saying that it's this man's fault. Which is it exactly?" The librarian completely confused asked us again.

"Actually it's my fault. I take full responsibility for this one. I'm the one who threw the first punch." Damien confessed to the librarian, raising his arms to get the attention of the librarian.

Everyone's eyes widen, even the man that had harassed him. Everyone was shocked that he just gave up and I for one is the same.

"THAT'S A FUCKING LIE!" I shouted at him. "YOU KNOW DAMN WELL THAT YOU JUST DEFENDED YOURSELF! IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT!" I screamed and yelled at him to reason with him but he just avoided my gaze and looked away.

"I'm used to this happening every time so I'm alright with this. It's just going to lessen the pain I'll have to endure. So here I am, saying that it's my fault." Damien confessed to the librarian, his eyes completely bleak with all forms of hopes.

It's as if, he had already accepted his faith in getting in trouble. This really grinds my gears that the guy is going to get off scot-free from this. This fucking pisses me off. My brain started to tremble from the anger.

"Ooh! Things are getting exciting. Although I didn't really expect him to just admit defeat like that." Camille chuckled. Making my eyes narrow onto her.

"Alright then, I understand...." Damien bowed his head in defeat, as he followed the librarian to the guidance counselor.

"Hmph. Good thing that brat's gonna get suspended or expelled." The man who harassed Damien chuckled. "What a fa######"

This just fucking gets on my nerves. I couldn't bite my tongue anymore and stay silent. I had to say something to this guy. I can't imagine that a human being like this exists. After doing something wrong, and when the person fights back. He shows no guilt to the thing that he did and acts that IT WAS THE VICTIM'S FAULT. This just doesn't sit well with me.

"Dude. Being masculine is different than being a huge idiot. You are so goddamn lucky that you had a fistfight with him. Cause if it were me. I'd make sure you go straight to the hospital. Even if you're bigger than me. I would kick your ass." I shouted at the man who is smirking and laughing.

Matthew finally broke his silence and proceeds to run after the librarian and Damien. "STOP! WAIT! There will be no need for that!" I can hear Matthew shouting to get the attention of the two of them.

"What is it?" The librarian asked in a confused manner.

"I actually know what happened and this method is not going to lie to you that's for sure."

"Oh, really and what would that be exactly?" The librarian raised her eyebrows with skepticism on what Matthew proposed.

"My pen right here." Matthew shows the pen which seems to have some sort of device attached to it. "This pen right here is able to record videos and take pictures and I recorded the whole fight in this particular pen right here.

OOH! WAY TO GO MATTHEW! SO THAT'S WHY HE WAS SILENT! He was actually recording the whole thing as evidence! That's actually really smart!

Everyone's eyes widen in shock. "What... WHA... THAT'S A LIE! THAT PEN HAS NO RECORDING DEVICE AT ALL!" The man shouted as a form of reflex to keep his name clean. Although his groveling didn't save him one bit.

With no mercy, Matthew connected a cable into the Librarian's phone, sending the video footage. The librarian watched the video and their voices were heard from it. Indeed the real deal. The librarian's face changed her expression, multiple times, seeing all the words and how the man handled Damien.

"You!" The librarian pointed to the man who was at this point shivering in fear from getting found out by Matthew's clutch device.

"Seems like I can't trust any of you here. You all lied didn't you?" The librarian lectured everyone in the room. "It was this person that started the whole thing. Good thing we have recorded footage. I knew for a fact there were some inconsistencies with this one."

Damien's once hopeless face turned to joy. As the librarian, pats him at the back. "Go back to what you were doing.

"You! Come here! We are going to the counselor's office!" The librarian stormed to wherever the man was and dragged him out of the library! I couldn't hold my laughter as the man was crying and begging for the librarian to not take him to the counselor!

"MATTHEW! YOU ARE SUCH A GENIUS!" I complimented Matthew.

He blushed a little responding with. "Nah. It wasn't really particularly special. It's just one of the inventions in the Pona Technologies. "

We can see Damien walking in the distance, with a smile on his face! Finally! We can return back to studying... although can we really... since Camille is here and all...
