POV: Lisa Manzona
We remained sitting down on the table, staring into each other's eyes as we remained silent. Ever since Damien came to the nurse's office we've been awfully quiet and nobody is really bothering to start the conversation either.
I took a peek at Camille, fiddling with her phone so carefreely as we continued to just sit still. Matthew leaned towards me, whispering to me ear. "Why are we standing around looking like a bunch of idiots again?"
"It's because Camille is here. It's so awkward that she's here...I mean the bitch literally ruined my reputation and wanted me to commit suicide from the mental stress and she's out here checking her phone without a care in the world." I responded to Matthew, whispering to make sure Camille doesn't hear it. "Also I'm kind of getting being blackmailed to ber her friend. That one is a long story but it is indeed stressful."
"If you really despised her that much, you would ask her to leave. Speak up and tell her that you don't like her. I mean the only one that's going to get hurt in the long term is you if you keep trying to do everything she wants you to do." Matthew advised to me.
Honestly, Matthew's right. He gave me some actually pretty good advice. Why do I gotta deal with all of this, I should just be true to myself and do what I want. I wouldn't let this psycho bitch take control of me.
"Hey? Um? Are you guys going to do something or are you just going to stare at me? I can clearly see the two of you talking about me you know." Camille chuckled, pointing out that she can see us. DAMN, I THOUGHT SHE WAS SO BUSY AT HER PHONE TO EVEN NOTICE.
"Wait?! You can HEAR US?" I exclaimed to her, as she continued to giggle.
"Hahaha! Geez. You guys should really work on your talking behind people's backs skills. Anyways yes, I've actually been able to hear your conversations. Your whispers are so easy to hear and I have sensitive hearing so I can hear gossips from a mile away." She pointed out, both our occasional whispering, shocking both of us.
"IF YOU KNEW ABOUT IT THEN WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE THEN? YOU KNOW THAT I HATE YOU RIGHT? I mean after what you did. You have the nerve to show your face to me?" I shouted at her.
"Hey. Calm down, we are still in the library... you're going to disturb the people." Camille hushed me, making me bite my lip. "Anyways, as for the reason I'm here. I'm honestly bored that's all. I just accompanied a friend to come here and I passed by you guys and since that girl is such a slut. I just left her to get banged by the guys. She's kind of into mediocre guys anyways." She chuckled.
"What? So you just left your friend? Don't you think that's a bit insensitive?" Matthew inquired her, shocked at the behavior of her friend.
"Aren't you like deeply concerned about her? Like at all? I know you guys aren't friends but you did take her here. Who knows what's happening to her right now. Golden Crown University doesn't have the best reputation when it comes to the students being angels. I mean since most of the students are spoiled entitled rich guys." Matthew chastised her, although she remained stoic, not moving a muscle from her mischievous grin.
"Don't worry geez.. do you like her or something? Why are you getting mad over this? You just want her don't you?" She continued to play this like a game and showed no care over the situation. I can clearly see Matthew's blood boiling over this girl.
"Also, calm down big brain energy. The boys told me that they took her into the nurse's office since she had a little too much excitement. So she's fine. No need to get your brain all in a twist." Camille informs both of us. Although I'm relieved that she's in the nurse's office but ISN'T DAMIEN ON THERE? SO HE MUST HAVE SEEN HER...
POV: Damien Musagawa
"Wait? So you're saying a group of guys carried her here? Saying that she fainted or whatnot?" I doubled checked Nina's testimony.
"Yes. Apparently, she fainted because she was a bit sick. I can tell since her body was covered in bandages, perhaps she had some kind of injury."
That's a bit odd... although I wonder if she- My thoughts were stopped as we heard a sound at the corner of the room.
"ACHOO!" A loud sneezing sound echoed throughout the room from the curtain covered bed.
The room went silent as we heard the curtain at the back of the room slightly pull open. Revealing the girl had actually woken up. I scanned her quickly, seeing her pale and lifeless eyes. Unevenly cut hair. Her arms and legs were filled with bandages and she smelt of something... smells like bleach and ammonia...
"Hello...." The girl stood up from her bed, calling to us with a soft and gentle voice.
"Oh?! You're actually awake now." Nina stood up and consoled her. "What happened exactly to you. A few boys came here, carrying you. Saying that you fainted... did something happen? Do you have some kind of illness?"
"I'm... I'm... fine now... I.. was just tired that's all..." She responded, shyly, and stuttering her words.
Something about her just makes me suspicious of her. Those eyes and that look... it's unnatural. She's lying about her current state... she's not okay... something is definitely up with her. I don't want to be nosy but I'll have to ask her directly what's wrong.
