84 Chapter 92: Dummy Chapter

I rolled my eyes instinctively, annoyed by the sight of that man but it always made me wonder why he acts that way in the first place. From what I know, people were born people. They weren't born monsters, they were made to be monsters. So, what did turn you into a monster that you are now?

"Calm down sir! Please stop shouting!" The butlers tried to apprehend Louie's father who was having a drunken tantrum. Rambling and shouting curse words at the air for how I "betrayed" him and how I left him.

What on earth is this man talking about? Surely, he doesn't mean that Louie betrayed him? Honestly, I think that Louie is doing this man a favor by being his loyal puppy, however. I'm not Louie so I have the right to talk back to this man.

"No father. I didn't betray you. I've been here for you all this time and never left you. I'm kind of getting tired overall by this whole charade. Can you start acting like a father for once?" I responded to him straightforwardly, leaving him speechless. His mouth that was once full of ramblings stopped from popping out words.

I can't believe that actually made him stop... who knew just by me being assertive would make him, stop his ramblings. I sighed, as he remained silent on the arms of the butler.

Without a moment, he began to shed tears... clinging tightly to the butler. "Um! Master? Are you alright?" The butler asked him really concerned by his sudden change of tone.

"Why did you leave me.... why did you leave me...." He muttered under his breath for a while. "I'll be richer, I promise.... please don't leave me... don't make me feel miserable again..." He continued to whimper and cry. Something is really wrong with him. He's clearly intoxicated and isn't making sense of what he is saying. We should at least put him in his bed so he can get his thoughts together.

Although, that got me wondering... what could have happened to leave this man into a total mess that he is right now. I guess I won't really know or I might have to ask Louie.

"What am I going to do with him now? He's really crying young master Louie." The butler asked me what we had to do. I sighed, this reminds me so much of back then at the states. I would have to help my friends who collapsed from their drinks. It was definitely an unpleasant experience and being the momma bear of the group. I couldn't leave them in the bar alone so they all had to sleep at my house at some point.

We gently placed him to the bed as I turned on the air conditioning of the room. Since it's going to be a hot night that's for sure. The butlers bowed and asked me if I needed anything else. I declined and asked them all to leave.

"How about you sir? Aren't you going back to your sleeping quarters?" The butler asked.

"Oh no. I'll go in a bit. I'll stay here for a bit to keep watch of him." I responded to the butler as I gently sat down on the chair next to the bed.

"Alright then. If you say so. If you need anything please ask for us." The butler said to me as he left the room, slowly and carefully closing the door. The room became utterly silent as only the phone light was lighting up the room.

I got comfy in the chair, putting my leg up the other, looking at the old man as he slept. I should probably move him to a sideward position. Incase if he pukes in his sleep. He won't drown from it.

I stood up from my chair and gently moved him to a fetal position, putting a pillow on his head and then a blanket to make sure he's not going to get cold. Honestly just looking at him sleeping so peacefully reminds me of him being a baby. As I carefully scanned his appearance, he was bald, he had wrinkles... he totally didn't look like Louie in any way. Honestly, both of Louie's siblings didn't look like him at all.

As I was looking at his appearance, my eyes couldn't help but wonder to focus on a picture frame. I took interest quickly. Grabbing the photo and lightening it up using my phone as the light source. It was a picture of the family actually... Louie's father, his mother, and he were in the photo. They looked so happy in this.

Although I couldn't help but notice how Louie looks really similar to his mother. In fact, his mother was drop-dead gorgeous, pearly white skin, beautiful silky hair, and her facial features were divine, it was charming to the eyes...

I wonder where Louie's mom is? I would have wished to meet her. Honestly, I'm a girl, and just by seeing her, I'll immediately fall in love.

"Please.... don't go away with him..." Louie's father muttered in his sleep. Giving me the biggest realization ever.

Wait a minute? Could it be that he was mumbling to himself for me not to leave him was because I looked like his wife?! Actually I did remember Louie mentioning to me about his mother and how his father was once loving and kind to him... It was back then when his father was sexist to me...

FLASHBACKS

"You see my father at times can be quite sexist... and brash. he believes that women are just there to leech of at rich men... well ever since that incident happened." He said timidly.

"What? What incident?"

"You see my mother was caught cheating... by my father after I graduated from high school... because of what my mother did. It drove a wedge with the relationship my father had. Essentially it's her fault that my father is like this towards women. Although back then... he was a loving father... well to me... he truly did care... I guess being betrayed changed him a lot."

FLASHBACKS END

I remember.... he was betrayed by his wife. So that's why he was crying... I totally get it. Nothing hurts most than getting your heart stabbed. Every day you put your heart out for everyone to see and one day someone stabs it. Changing the way you act. It's always those with a kind heart that's hurt in the end. Turning them into monsters.

I took a deep breath and decided to call it a day. Closing the door behind me gently as I left the bedroom. I should probably call it a day as well.. after going to my father's bedroom, I tried to go upstairs but...

GROWLS. My stomach growls... it's really hurting... I ALMOST FORGOT THAT I CAME DOWNSTAIRS TO GET SOME POPCORN. I should probably ask the maids if we got some popcorn! I rushed over to the kitchen, looking for the maid I can see, and proceed to ask them if we had popcorn. They nodded and brought out the microwavable popcorn.

"Oh... I've never really seen you enjoy popcorn young master..." The maid states to me. I smiled, "I suppose I never really have the time to enjoy them since I have work but since it's my day off I have some time to enjoy and relax."

"Are you sure? Do you have to wait for that popcorn to finish? I can go ahead and wait for that and serve it to you on a plate. So you can go ahead and handle your work for today." The maid offered for me. her small gesture was actually very sweet of her although I declined. "It's fine, it won't really take long to get these to finish popping," I responded denying her request.

Suddenly, a lightbulb bursts open on my brain. "OH MY. THAT'S IT!" I accidentally shouted, getting the maid very scared and surprised by my sudden shouting.

"What is it, sir?" The maid asked me, a bit scared and hesitant.

"Oh, it's nothing. Actually, since I have my day-off tomorrow! I actually have a request to ask of you." I turned to the maid seriously.

"ACK! What is it..." She replied to me, shivering in her boots since I looked very intimidating.

I don't know if this will work but I know this will at least try to repair their relationship. After all... small gestures are the ones that often cause the biggest changes in a person's mood. It should be worth a shot to try.
