89 Chapter 87: Shopping With Nina

After we had our little talk about her past. We decided to head to the clothes shop but suddenly, I became really embarrassed trying on men's clothes cause everyone was staring at me in the male's sections.

DAMN YOU NINA FOR TRYING TO FORCE ME TO TRY OUT THESE CLOTHES LIKE WE'RE IN SOME KIND OF FASHION SHOW!

So right now, I'm currently hiding in the dressing room. Completely wearing men's clothes with the door locked because I DO NOT WANT TO GO OUT.

"Hey...I kind of changed my mind. Can we just not do this please..." I responded timidly. "Please give me my clothes outside! I'll just go and change back!"

"Nonsense! Just come out geez! Don't just stay in the closet! Also, I actually need to take a good look at it myself so hurry!" She shouted cheering me on to come out.

"IS THAT some kind of gay joke, you just said!?"

"Not really, just telling you to come out of the dressing room. SO COME ON! You're wasting my time you know? I actually have to make love to Dean now if you know what I mean." She chuckled, making a dirty joke.

"Just toss my clothes here! I'll go ahead and change back into them!" I pleaded for her to give back my clothes. She chuckled, taking it away from the area that I can reach them

"No! Come out, I'm taking your clothes so the only way you can go out is to grab these clothes right here!" She muttered out playfully, playing it off as some sort of joke.

"HEY! THIS IS ABUSE! GIVE ME MY CLOTHES, I'LL GO AHEAD AND CALL THE POLICE! THIS IS HARASSMENT!" I screamed in a joking manner.

"No! Silly! You have to come out right now or I'll DRAG your ass OUT here myself." Her voice deepened into a beast-like howl.

"HOW ARE YOU GOING TO OPEN THE DOOR THEN HUH? I LOCKED IT!" I taunted her efforts to scare me.

Suddenly, the feral beast outside became quiet. Completely filling me with wonder, huh? Where did she go all of a sudden? I started to put my ear over the door to hear the sound coming outside. Hearing the doorknob turning and rattling.

"OPEN THIS DOOR AND LET'S JUST SAY THERE WON'T BE A DOOR LIKE THIS ANYMORE TO PROTECT YOU. YOU THINK YOU GOT A DOOR TO PROTECT YOU? I GOT A LOCKPICK TO UNLOCK THIS DOOR ANYTIME I WANT SO BETTER COME OUT NOW AND SURRENDER!" She shouted like a mad lunatic, scaring my pants off.

"Eep! Yes ma'am." I came out of the intimidation. I opened the dressing room door to show myself in front of her, although staying there to prevent anyone else from seeing me.I'm hiding my face in total embarrassment.

"Oh my god!" Nina's eyes light up. "You look lovely. Why were you being so difficult? You actually look good wearing that silly!" She then drags me out of the dressing room to the outside.

"Listen... I know that you had this trauma of where people didn't like you because you dressed like a man in your old school but I'm telling you here right now that nobody cares or NOBODY should care about how you live your life because it's you." She explained to me monotonously.

"..." I remained silent, a total loss for words at what she said.

"I'm not trying to be like mean and pushy or anything but like, you should at least love who you are got it? If you love doing something and love being that thing, as long as you aren't hurting anyone. Be that." She gives me a pat in the back.

"You.. you're right. I am a bit insecure about wearing men's clothes. I'm sorry. It's just that, I've been given so much shit for wearing these things. It's just that people always told me to be a lady, like dresses, cook and clean, find a rich husband and all that crap." I sighed, telling her that she hit a bullseye at her deduction.

"Fuck what they say." She giggled.

"Huh? What?!" My eyes lighten up.

"I said fuck them. I mean like, that's your life. It's not their right to tell you what to do. They don't own you. So just put your middle finger up like this!" She puts her middle finger up. "And then say, fuck you bitch. You don't own me. I'm not going to be a bitch that's going to lay my head down low to follow your stupid others." She chuckled, making me laugh as well from her sudden joke.

"Wait? You really do that to people that are being sexist to you?"

"Yup, in the military, some bitches want to try me because I'm a woman or something. Calling me weak, useless, and such when I'm the one nursing their wounds from battle. So I'm pretty used to it. I just don't tolerate sexism in general. Those men know damn well that I can beat them in a 1v1 fight so they never bother trying me. Unless they wanna lose a fight that is." She snickered a little.

I stared over to the mirror. Looking at me straightly. I'm wearing clothes that are stereotypically worn by males and... this time... I'm not feeling insecure or anything. My heart is not beating so fast as usual and I've noticed a lot of them are looking at me but I just didn't care...

"Thanks... Nina." I thanked her for her kind words as I stared at myself in the mirror.

"Hm?" Nina's eyebrow raised. "What are you thanking me for?" She looked at me surprised.

"It's just that... you gave me confidence. I needed that speech you gave me. If you hadn't I would have just stayed in this dressing room, and then probably go home feeling a bit upset."

"No problem Lisa." She bubbled. "I told you that I got your back right? I might be older than you but I consider you as a friend so of course. What kind of friend would I be if I didn't give you advice!"

"Right..." I answered breathily. I turned around to take a look at more clothes to try out. I moved along the piles of hangers, looking at the outfit for one second before deciding if I would buy it.

"Find anything you like?" She turned to check up on me.

"Nope. I'm kind of looking for comfortable clothes. I don't really like wearing skinny jeans since that might strangle my legs. LIKE LITERALLY strangle them." I joked, before looking again.

"Speaking of being comfortable. Which one of the guys at the university are you most uncomfortable hanging out with?" She gives me a cheeky grin.

"Wha? Where did that suddenly just come from?"

"Just out of nowhere. Just wanna hear your opinions about the guys that's all! Come on, let's have a girl talk which one of the guys would you like marry and such." She giggled like a schoolgirl, prying me for information. DAMN, SHE'S DEFINITELY ENJOYING THIS HUH?

"Well before I tell something, I should ask you the same thing," I spoke with a smug look in my face.

"Easy! I would marry Dean. I mean he already proposed to me so if you're trying to make me look flustered by asking the same thing then you are sorely mistaken." She pointed out, laughing at my attempts.

"DAMN IT! You're right! ALSO, THIS AIN'T FAIR! You can totally grill me with relationships but I can't grill you since you already have a ring in your finger!" I pouted, crossing my arms as I gave her a glare.

"Sucks to suck. Of course, if I'm going to start some drama. I made sure that you won't be able to turn the question back to me. So what do you think about the guys?"

"Which one of the guys exactly? You better be specific." I rolled my eyes, agreeing to answer.

"Let's see... perhaps try rating all the guys in the list of the ones you like from the ones you don't like but you have to start on the least favorite one! Also, by the way, I promise with my soul that I would never tell this to anyone. Not even them, even if I get tempted to." Did she swear it with her soul eh? I don't buy it. THIS GIRL IS A BLABBERMOUTH SO I'M SURE THE MOMENT I TELL SOMETHING SHE'S SPILLING IT FASTER THAN HOW ROSE SPREADS HER LEGS. No shade by the way.

"Come on! Tell! Tell! Tell! Tell!" She chanted, waiting for fo me to say it. Ugh!

"Fine!"
