Letting out a sigh, Stars proceeded to clean up the table. After having their fill of tea it seemed that everyone had left him alone again. It was times like this that Stars missed his tea-loving uncle and playful older bother. At least they would not go away after having their enjoying his tea, not even bothering to have a pleasant conversation with him, he thought bitterly. Oh, how he missed those good old days before he became a god. He could not even go and visit them in the Underworld (where he was sure they would have ended up) because they were not human.
Putting that aside, he was not completely lonely when he first became a god. The trio (as they were called) often accompanied him during that time and helped him adjust to his new life. Back then there was no pavilion and the four of them just sat next to some lake or river (as per Water's request) as they talked about their (the trio's) latest prank. While the rest of the gods might have found them annoying, he thought that they were quite endearing.
Air was the one who suggested that he build a pavilion near his pond so that he could do his job while hanging out with them. Games readily supported the idea saying that it would be a great place to play games and drink Star's tea(which they had taken a liking to). Water liked the idea as well since she could dip her legs in the pond near by whenever she started to feel nauseated.
After getting permission from Knowledge(all infrastructure that was to be built on Heaven had to go though her first), they enlisted the help of Gaia and the God of Earth at the time and got right to work.
The pavilion was designed to be a replica of his uncle's favorite pavilion where Stars had spent a good part of his childhood. Sure he never saw it again after his father's castle was destroyed, but he had always kept those memories close to his heart.
Having a good memory from birth, he made sure that the pavilion looked just like the original. However, he could not use the original materials due to them being toxic to humans. Not wanting to cause pain to his fellow gods, he had opted for a sturdy white jade-like material that was common in heaven. On a side note, Life's Dagger Hall was made from the same material.
To add a touch of color to the structure, he had Gaia add a flowering vine around its intricately carved pillars.
After its creation, the trio had helped him throw a banquet to celebrate. All the gods that attended were full of praises for it.
As a surprise, the trio had even gotten permission from the high gods to invite his uncle and brother to the event which delighted him greatly. Sadly, that was the last time he saw hem again as they were killed shortly shortly after.
All he could do was to spend his days experimenting on new variations of tea(like his uncle had done), seeking to distract himself from the cruel reality. He just hoped that now that they were back(well, two of them were), such a think would not happened again.
