610 Assaulted by Zou Yin 2

An hour later, Shen Yi found himself in a deserted warehouse near the sea with his brother. Before leaving the hospital, he talked to their mother and begged her to give him stronger pain relievers for this mission.

Just like what Li Yuren said, they already planted a spy where the three women were held captive. Disguising as one of Zou Yin's men, their spy had concealed an ear-hearing amplifier which allowed them to hear things that were spoken inside.

Clad in full gear like the rest of Li Yuren's people, Shen Yi and Shen Xue disguised themselves as regular soldiers in Li Yuren's platoon. Complete with the night vision goggles and bulletproof vests, Shen Xue was impressed by how Li Yuren managed to prepare in a short time.

Li Yuren himself didn't need to be here and should just give orders; however, because his sister was involved, the Li family pressured him to save his sister at all costs. Ah, even himself couldn't understand why his sister was dragged into this problem.

They watched as the general activated a mobile phone jammer to prevent the enemy from calling backup which would help them to get out of their dangerous spot any minute.

When they arrived, they were just in time to see Li Qiao being hulled inside the warehouse. They were able to hear how Zou Yin forced Lu Xinyi to sign the divorce petition he prepared ahead. Shen Yi's eyes turned red in an instant. This man was really tired of living! Dare to force his wife to leave him? He'd send Zou Yin to hell with his own hands!

Later, Zou Yin and his men were outside as if they were waiting for his arrival; but after an hour of waiting, they gave up and went back inside. This time, Feng Qianyu stayed outside with a couple of their men to look out for Shen Yi's arrival.

However, this was futile as Li Yuren had successfully infiltrated and secured the exits around the warehouse and the dock. They only needed to wait for a little while to lessen the men roaming around without startling Zou Yin.

However, the next thing that happened was far from Li Yuren's plans as they heard Zou Yin molesting Lu Xinyi over their earpieces. None of them made a move upon hearing the dirty words Zou Yin sputtered at her while Lu Xinyi's cries could be heard from the background. Her voice was broken as she begged him to stop.

Shen Yi had lost it that instant. He refused to wait any longer and endure hearing his wife being sexually assaulted by Zou Yin. His inside froze when he heard her muffled scream. Leaving his hiding place, he shot anyone who blocked his way with his eyes blazing with pure rage upon hearing his wife's pleading.

Red filled his vision. His anger couldn't be compared to the rage he had when Feng Zexian took his little brother. He was going to kill the bastard! Zou Yin would pay a price for touching his wife!

Li Yuren and Ye Xingjie couldn't blame him at all. Any sane husband wouldn't want to see or hear his wife being violated by another man. Qiao He followed after his boss with their own Shen family guards to protect him. After all, it was their responsibility to protect him and Lu Xinyi.

Just like Shen Yi, they were enraged that their Young Madam had to suffer such disrespect. All of them had come to respect her over the year since she arrived and had seen how much influence she had over Shen Yi.

"Protect my brother; make sure no one will be able to sneak past you." Shen Xue muttered, his face one with annoyance. This was the first time Qiao He saw him this serious. He must be really upset by what he heard over his earpiece.

There was no need for Shen Xue to remind them for they would do so even with him asking about it. As Zou Yin's men fell one by one, even Feng Qianyu hadn't reacted on time and had been killed by Shen Yi in no time. Her body was among the pile of dead bodies that fell as Shen Yi stormed inside the warehouse.

Shen Xue had never seen his brother this mad. He knew that the previous event at Saffron Boulevard was just a tip of the iceberg; hence, he never questioned his brother over the matter. He was the reason why Shen Yi tainted his own hands with blood anyway.

However, tonight was different. If he was angry upon hearing his Big Sis's pleas, Shen Yi's patience had reached its limit. The demon king had been angered, and now a bloodbath was on its wake.

A dozen of Zou Yin's people had no match against Shen Yi and Li Yuren's prowess. Li Yuren had surrounded the whole area, trapping everyone inside while Shen Yi took his chance to slip inside at the backdoor of the warehouse.

While Zou Yin was preoccupied, the man behind Li Qiao slashed the ties on her wrist and gave her a pistol. She quickly shot the man pinning Sun Feiyan in place while dragging the shocked Lu Xinyi away from Zou Yin.

"Feiyan! Come here and hide behind me!" She yelled at the other woman.

Sun Feiyan moved at once and released her own hands from the ties before taking Lu Xinyi away from Li Qiao who'd decided to use herself to cover them from the enemies. She hurriedly removed the ties on Lu Xinyi's wrist, removed her coat, and covered her cousin's head with it.

When Zou Yin finally noticed that Lu Xinyi and Li Qiao had managed to get away. He chased after them but hadn't expected Shen Yi to pounce at him at once, jerking the gun out of his hand and flinging it several meters away from them.

"Shen Yi!" Zou Yin swung at Shen Yi, but the latter ducked and rammed a punch on his stomach.

The demon king felt it felt so good, he didn't mind turning Zou Yin into a punching bag. Gunshot sounds filled the area, but it didn't stop Shen Yi to beat the crap out of Zou Yin. He grabbed his wrist, pulled him up, lifted him over his head, and then slammed Zou Yin's body down hard onto the hard concrete floor.

However, he didn't stop there. Shen Yi balled his hand into a fist and struck out Zou Yin's face with powerful and heavy punches without another thought. Zou Yin was trying to say something, but Shen Yi couldn't hear it over the roaring anger screaming at his head.

'Kill… kill… kill…'

Lu Xinyi watched the whole scene in a daze—the rescue arriving, soldiers subduing Zou Yin's men and killing some who resisted. There were also this one-sided brawl between her husband and Zou Yin… and Li Qiao's attempt to protect them as she crouched down in front of them in case some of Zou Yin's men decided to shoot.

Her husband continued to beat Zou Yin, not giving the man a chance to land a punch on his face. She hadn't seen a single blow on her husband, and yet she noticed his bloody fist and the blood seeping, tainting his clothes. It was only then she realized that Shen Yi was injured!

"Shen Yi!" She screamed, hoping he would snap out of his daze and remember her.
