39 The Forgotten Ruler of Lime City

The girl brought her to the room in the middle, inside the room, there is a lot of Ice Bells. In the middle of the room, there are 4 thrones. 'The monster is inside the throne room? But isn't the room require a key to open it?

"Those are the things that you are looking for" , the girl pointed at the monster.

"Yes, thankyou for your help." , Huan Li thanked the girl politely. She surveyed the throne room and counted how many Ice Bells inside the room, '14... 15, there is 15 of them here, she can finish the quest in 15 minutes then. Where is so hard about this then?'

She took out her weapon and approached the monster, when her mace about to land on it. It suddenly act cute and scared! Now she understand where's the difficulty is! She has a soft spot regarding this, she can't bear to attack such cute creature!

Taking a deep breath, she tried to attack again but her hand won't move. She can't!

"What's wrong adventurer? You aren't going to kill it?" , the girl voice sounded again beside her. "This... I don't dare to, i have a soft spot for a cute and harmless creature" , she awkwardly said.

"Harmless and cute?" , a rapier appeared on the girl hand and she slashed it towards the monster. Before she could react, she saw the monster died and dissapeared into thin air. She also saw the appearance of the monster before it dissapeared, it's totally different from the cute one earlier.

"You should know, sometime the one that we think is harmless was actually the most dangerous one." , the girl said this with a smile. Right, she forgot about that. "Yes, thankyou for reminding me."

Now she wouldn't hesitate anymore, she will finish the quest and get the money!

In 15 minutes, Huan Li finally killed 50 Ice Bells. She wanted to say thankyou again to the girl, but she sensed something is coming to her, she dodged it and a thud sound can be heard. On the wall beside her, there's a sword embedded in it. That was a close one!

She turned her head to the side and saw a beautiful woman smiling at her, she was the person that threw her sword at her earlier. "You got quiet a character, young adventurer" , the woman sounded. "Such a rare character that rarely appeared" , this time it was a man voice.

From behind the thrones, there appeared a man over his thirties, he exuded an elegant aura that only owned by the royalties. Suddenly her system sounded "WARNING : The Area Boss has appeared" , 'WT* , she ran into the area bosses at her first time here?!'

Huan Li ready to attack them, one vs two? Who cares! When she's almost finished casting her skill, the king voiced out "This adventurer, please calm down. My wife was a bit excited earlier because it has been a long time since we got a visitor here."

'The king tried to calm her down?! Is this some sort of skill as the area boss or something?!'

Huan Li put her weapon in and try to trust him this once, seeing that she has calmed down. The queen told her hurriedly, "I'm sorry, i was too excited, at least you aren't hurt right? See, you are safe and sound!"

'Safe and sound her a** , she almost died if she didn't sense that earlier okay?!' , Huan Li tried to keep her composure hearing this shameless couple. "That's okay, so what do you want?" , she finished her quest already and it's time for her to come back and get her money.

"How about we try to know each other name first before getting into the topic?" , this time the girl behind her sounded and walked to the throne direction. 'We? So she's one of them?'

Shaked out her thought, Huan Li said her name and asked them back.

This time, there's another man came from behind the throne and stand beside them. They said this together, "We are called, The Forgotten Ruler of Lime City."
