Chapter 69 - 68-Spar

"So why are you in China?Business or p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e?"asked Shang-Chi

"No business,I am here only for travelling,you any place that serve good hot pot?Read somewhere that people should try it if they are in China."I asked.

"Well,I do know a place". replied Shang-Chi.

And so Shang-Chi and I were sitting eating hot pot.While talking I deliberately pushed a cup down the table,which Shang-Chi caught easily.He then looked at me and said

"Why test me?"with a raised eyebrow."I know that you are powerful,I can see that in your eye."he told me

"Well it was certainly a sight to see one man alone beat thugs so easily just wanted to see if what k saw was true"I said while still focussing on my hot pot,it was quite good.

"What do you say we go out and have a friendly spar?"I asked him.

"On one condition the loser pays the bills for the other person's dinner"Shang replied completely into that idea.

Shang-Chi stood there waiting for me to do the first move,I obliged and ran towards him throwing barrages of punches at him,keep in mind that I had limited my strength cause I don't want to kill Shang-Chi cause even a punch at my quarter of a power can kill him????.Shang side step them and ducked to give a punch direct into my gut.Shang was faster much faster than a normal human,I got to give it to him and the control he had on his body was something awestrucking.I replied with a punch on his head and pushed him far to make some distance.We continued back and forth we me improving my technique while fighting him,what did you think I was only fighting him for fun,I just wanted to improve my fighting skills.After a long time of this fight and after I knew that I couldn't improve any more I decided to end the fight.I punched him in the gut with a good punch with enough strength to end the fight.

"You were holding back, weren't you?"Shang-Chi.

Smart of him to figure it out.

"Yes"when I said so, Shang-Chi finally gave up and sat down on the ground to calm his breath.

"Here take this."saying so I hand him a phone."It has my number if you want to contact me."

"And why would want to contact you?"he asked

"Well friends do keep in touch don't they?"I said.

"So that's what we are friends cause we fought once?"he asked cheekily though he did take the phone.

"Well we have a saying at the place from where I come from,The Best way to know a man is by fighting him."

"Weird saying"said Shang-Chi

"Well let's go someone owes me a dinner,and I haven't eaten well in years and so many cuisines to try"
