236 Even if it cost my life

Thinking about the consequences of his actions, Mo YuMin is anticipating that Li FuJin might do something against him after he took YuYan away.     

"We replaced him, she'll have vague memories of what happened between them" Mo YuMin answered. "Just pretend that it was you, I'll take care the rest"     

Lu JunShi: "..."     

Replaced?!  Are you out of your mind?!   How can you do that to your own sister?!

There was bewilderment at Lu JunShi's face after contemplating Mo YuMin's words, but his heart began throbbing thinking that there's something wrong for this to happen.

With a heavy heart, Lu JunShi opened his mouth, but he doesn't know what to say. Pretending to be someone else especially as a fiancee is a big challenge for him.

Moreover, despite his handsome appearance, Lu JunShi never had time to look at any woman, or rather he never tried to get near to any girl because of his love for YuYan. 

Unfortunately, Lu JunShi doesn't have a choice, even though he wanted to argue of what was done to her, he cannot decline Mo YuMin's words because of his oath.

Taking a deep breath to calm his trembling heart, Lu JunShi can only nod while he turned his head to look at YuYan with pity on his eyes.

Lu JunShi: "..."  She... She... Is it really her?!

Lu JunShi is YuYan's childhood friend, he is two years older than her, they used to play together whenever his mother visited the YuYan's mother. 

He always loved YuYan since they were young, Lu JunShi keeps on treating her like a treasure, while his heart secretly keeps on hoping that he can marry her one day. 

Unfortunately, the incident on the Xiao family made his dream to marry YuYan has been instantly shattered into pieces.

Not long after, Lu JunShi's parents died in an accident, but Xiao MingRou took him on his wing and started to become his apprentice because of Lu JunShi's capabilities.

Therefore, living with the Xiao Family and become Xiao MingRou's trusted hand, Lu JunShi become aware about what happened to YuYan.  

Henceforth, when he heard that YuYan finally returned to the Xiao Family, his heart skipped a beat while he wanted to see her right away. 

Unfortunately, Lu JunShi was currently on a mission that time and made him unable to know how YuYan looks like after twelve years.

Hence, after he came back to the black garden, Lu JunShi heard that YuYan is already engaged that made his hope break again like a broken glass.

Unfortunately, aside from not seeing YuYan, she suddenly went missing that he also tried hard to find her, but he also failed. 

Getting a response despite Lu JunShi's unwillingness that clearly shows on his face, Mo YuMin silently left the room without saying a word.

Lu JunShi slowly walked forward towards the bed while he stood next to YuYan, he stared at her adorable face until he noticed the marks on her snow-white skin.

Lu JunShi: "..."

You've got to be kidding me! How can he separate them after having this?! They already had intimate moments!

With disbelief of what Mo YuMin did, the idea that YuYan's fiancee already tried to explore her body made Lu JunShi feel complicated.

The thought that YuYan and her fiancee already lived together, it cannot hide the fact that they might have done more while they sleep in one bed.

Heart that being squeezed slowly made him feel hard to breathe, while his mind was like a ticking bomb that will explode with fear to have interactions with YuYan. 

Lu JunShi can't help but to think how will he act to be YuYan's fiancee, especially if it ends up to a situation that they will get near to each other.

Understanding YuYan's situation, it was like a thunderbolt that hits Lu JunShi's soul, knowing that he cannot tell her about what's happening.

"I'm sorry... If I only knew.." He mumbled while he keeps on staring at her beautiful sleeping face. "I could have done something to prevent it even if it cost my life..."
