475 What she means to me

It was like they did not know each other but all of them glanced at YuYan who walked alone; ignoring Li FuJin who was silently following behind her.

They can only sigh while they recall the time when they were on their way to the moon garden; none of them uttered a word because of the indifferent atmosphere coming from YuYan.

Although she is neither angry nor happy, all of them can feel an unpleasant aura around YuYan, yet none of them dared to ask what's troubling her.

However, only Xiao XiRan has a guess why his beloved baby sister is acting differently. Of course it was because of not getting an answer from their father about Xiao FengYun.

Xiao XiRan wanted to say something, or at least comfort his baby sister but in the end, he said nothing aside from staring at YuYan who was looking at the car window.

"Just let her be. You know her more than anyone." Zhiyuan said while he holds Xiao XiRan's shoulder who was watching YuYan's disappearing back.

Xiao XiRan sighed and uttered nonchalantly. "I'm just worried that she might do something stupid. You know how much she hates not getting any answer from her questions."

"Yeah, so expect that she will surely try to find an answer by her own. But speaking of questions, there are a lot of things that you need to tell me." Zhiyuan reminded.

Xiao XiRan: "…" Should I tell him?

Xiao XiRan turned his head and look at Zhiyuan but he did not say anything while he looked back at where YuYan disappear and seriously asked. "There are things that I cannot tell you for now."

After his words, Xiao XiRan tapped Zhiyuan's hand before removing it from his shoulder and hooked his arm on Marlene's waist while he pulls her to walk towards their courtyard.

"Since when did you start to consider me as an outsider?" Zhiyuan faintly mumbled but Zhen Hai and Lanyi clearly heard what he said because of their sharp senses.

They can feel loneliness and pain on Zhiyuan's voice. It was like a child that has been abandoned by his family, while a bitter smile appeared in his lips.

"Don't think too much bro. Maybe there's a reason why he needs to keep it from you for now." Zhen Hai uttered with comfort while he hooked his arm on Zhiyuan's shoulders.

"I don't know why they started to keep those things from me like twelve years ago." Zhiyuan faintly said. "They know what she means to me, but they keep on hiding it from me too."

"I should be the one to know everything about her. I have deeper connection to her, but they now treat me like I am.. I am nothing to her." Zhiyuan sadly added.

"You lived longer than we do, you should already know why they were keeping it from you." Lanyi finally speak that made Zhiyuan turned his head to look at him.

"You already said it yourself. You have deeper connections to her which means, the secrets that they were hiding from her is not safe once you knew about it." Lanyi added.

Without giving a chance for Zhiyuan to speak, Lanyi seriously continued. "They know that you cherish her that much. You will surely not keep any secrets or lie to her."

Lanyi's words hit a nail on Zhiyuan's heart. He knew that it was the truth, and that is the big reason why any secrets about YuYan will be revealed if he knew about it.

However, Zhiyuan cannot blame them since he has secrets about her that he cannot reveal for the mean time until it is the right time for YuYan to know.

Nonetheless, YuYan's current situation is different and not simple as it seems. Zhiyuan feels that he needs to know whatever it is since there are things he needs to handle by himself.

"There's something I need to do." Zhiyuan claimed as he removed Zhen Hai's arm on his shoulders and instantly disappeared without saying another word.
