"Well, can you do something to make her better?" Spark asked, looking dejected while staring at Molly. The doctor looked him straight in the eye.

"It's hard to say at the moment. It mainly depends on the patient's mood and living environment." He, too, glanced at the sleeping Molly.

"What about the baby?" Spark asked.

The doctor approached Molly's bed to look her over. "She most likely knew about her pregnancy. Since she arrived at the hospital, her hands had always been on her belly. Subconsciously, she is protecting the child. The truth is Miss Xia's condition would have been worse if not for the baby," he told Spark.

"You mean to say her condition will become worse if something bad happens to the baby?" The question made him pause for a moment, as he thought of the repercussions should Molly lose her child.

"That's possible," the doctor nodded. "But it's hard to say what will happen next."

Acknowledging the words with a nod, Spark expressed his thanks to the doctor. Once they were alone in the room, he looked at Molly, his face tired, and his expression upset. He wondered what happened to Molly in the last two months.

Just one more minute of playing in the water, or you'll catch a cold. It's not good for the baby!"

The moment she heard it was not good for her baby, Molly immediately pulled her feet out of the water and threw Manny a glance while biting her lips. She hated it when he scolded her.

"Manny! Are you scolding Mol again?" Spark called out. He was walking towards them just as Manny warned Molly. He wore a pair of sunglasses that concealed his eyes well, a vest, a pair of shorts and flip-flops. The dark shades allowed him to stare at the glaring sun up in the blue sky without fear of getting blinded. Manny, on the other hand, carried a parasol. Spark said, "Why are you the only one with a parasol? It's blistering hot!" "Why don't you provide Mol with some shade?"

Spark's comments annoyed Manny, and his face turned fierce. "Because she wants to bask under the sun with the baby!" he snapped. In his head, he was screaming. Who was he? He was a great agent of a world-renowned violinist named Spark! But right now, he was only a nanny, without a salary!
