"You can't take Mark

away from me!"

Molly reiterated.

Brian sneered, "What? So Mark really is my son? You're not denying that anymore?"

Molly froze. She stared at Brian, "Okay, so he's your son. And so what? Mark has been with me since the day he was born. He's my son and he is also Spark's son and it's legal. And you can't do anything about that!"

"Legal?" Brian chuckled coldly, "Mol, boy, have you changed. You've evolved from that timid, shy girl. Now you take advantage of anyone and anything just to protect yourself. That's, wow, that's really something to be proud of." Brian squinted at her, "But, unfortunately, you're in battle with me. You think you can win against me? There's no contest. I'm taking Mark away."

"I won't let that happen!" Molly screamed, her eyes filled with fear, "Brian, what's wrong with you? Why are you always taking away everything I have? You took my eyes, my mother died because of you. You're the reason I lost everything! Why do you have to take Mark away too?"

"I took your eyes?" Brian asked as he approached her, "Your mother died because of me?" He closed in on her, "I made you lose everything?"

Each question hit a nerve, Molly just kept stepping back until her back was up against a wall. She hissed through her teeth, "Brian, Mark is everything to me. I'm begging you. Please don't do this. Don't take him away from me."

"Molly, so it seems like I've always been evil in your eyes, huh?" Brian glared at Molly, his right eye twitching. His face purposefully didn't show any trace that he was sad instead he plastered a cold smile on his face, "I took your eyes, so what? Your mother died because of me, so what? Well, I just want to remind you that I can take everything away from you in the snap of a finger and that includes Mark."

"You're evil!" Molly cried as she shoved her fingers on Brian's chest. Brian stumbled a bit backward either because Molly had pushed him so hard or because he was taken by surprise. "I won't let you take Mark away! You can take everything away and I wouldn't mind as long as it wasn't Mark!"

"As long as it wasn't Mark?" Brian's dark eyes narrowed. At that moment, the atmosphere was broken with the sound of a phone ringing. It kept ringing and ringing and for a while, it was the only sound that could be heard in the quiet room.

Not one of them budged. They just kept staring down at one another. But the caller was persistent too. He just kept the ringing going, refusing to be ignored. Suddenly, Molly realized that that was her phone ringing. So she picked up her

"Do you know what you did wrong? It's alright if you just wanted to own me. But you should not have helped Molly leave me!"

When Brian learns the truth, there is no chance for Hannah to win his heart.

Molly, who wants to run away from Brian, seems to be the only one to blame for Hannah's misfortune...

nd came and the line was cut. He tried calling again but he couldn't get through anymore, it just kept going straight to voice mail.

"Daddy?"

Mark asked in sign language.

Spark gently stroke Mark's hair, and smiled, "I guess mommy's a little busy now. Are you hungry? How about I take you to lunch?"

Mark shook his head and gestured, "No, I'm not hungry. I want to wait for mommy so we can have lunch together."

Spark pulled Mark on his lap, and tenderly pinched his cheeks with his fingers. "Then how about you take a nap first? We'll have lunch when mommy returns," he suggested.

Mark nodded. He kissed Spark on the cheek and gave him a quick hug before going to his bedroom.

Spark stood up and went to the balcony as soon as Mark closed the door. He tried calling Molly again but only to be sent to voice mail still. He was starting to get worried now. He dialed another number, "Manny, I need you to give me the number of that man from Dream. The one who's in charge of the concert."

"What's wrong?" Manny asked, "Shouldn't Mol have his number or something?"

"Just give it to me!" Spark raised his voice, frustrated.

Manny wasn't the least bit offended. He had known Spark for so long, he had tolerated him for so long, and he had tolerated far worse than this. Manny intended to tell Spark something after providing the number but Spark had already hung up on him.

Spark called the number where he found out that Molly had left their office three hours ago. He knitted his brows at one possibility that he didn't ever want to consider.

He tightened his grip on the phone on his hands as he scrolled through it to look for Harrow's number. Gritting his teeth, he called his brother.
