Addison got out of the car and strode to the elevator.

A moment later, he arrived at the floor where Sally was staying. Someone was already waiting for him.

"Your Highness!" The hotel manager and person-in-charge of the guest rooms bowed to Addison, intimidated by Addison's dark face.

Without acknowledging them, Addison briskly walked to Sally's room. The hotel staff wanted to follow him but were immediately blocked by Wyatt.

They then exchanged worried glances with each other but were wise enough not to say a word. There was an accident earlier and unfortunately, that person was related to Addison. Even worse, it was his girlfriend. Luckily, they paid Sally a visit when it was lunch time and discovered that something was wrong. If they never came to visit her, the situation would have been worse.

The two of them were intrigued and they anxiously waited beside the door and kept peering into the room. Unfortunately, their vision was blocked by the narrow passageway. They couldn't see anything from where they were standing. And that just heightened their anxiety.

"Doctor, how is she now?" Sally was unconsciously lying on the couch with a pale face. Addison was intently looking at her, his eyes filled with nothing but concern.

"Luckily it's not too late," the doctor said. "I just helped her pump her stomach. After the bottle of glucose is injected into her veins, she should be waking up." After a moment, he continued, "She should receive a thorough check-up in the hospital for further examination."

Addison nodded. "Thank you so much, doctor."

His mind was a total blank. All what he was feeling was sheer luck.

It was so lucky that nothing serious happened. It was so lucky that she survived!
