Chapter 8 - The Start

He stared at me. Even his eyes looked like they were mocking at me. who, on the right mind would offend their company's CEO. And that's exactly what I did.

CEO-" wow what a coincidence .. miss..?

I replied "Hannah smith" politely. It sounded more like please don't fire me.

The manager stood there quiet confused.

CEO-"So you were the one who won the competition. Right? "

"yes sir".And without any further thought I wanted to apologize for what happened last night." About last night.. " before even I could say another word .. he interfered saying " I hope you can just do your work and avoid meddling on other's business ." I can sense his words were with satisfaction." And you will be personal secretary from now on" . What on earth. I should be happy but I'm not. He can better fire me. It's clear that he wanna seek revenge from what I did before. I'm done for.
