Chapter 9 - Encounter awaits (2)

I get up in noon very next day. I don't have work today. So I just cleaned the house. Then I decided to go to Temple[a place where Hindus worship God, holy place] before visiting mom, As I want give her prased[holy food blessed by God ].I know I was born by Hindu mom and Christin dad.. I worship in church as well as in temple. I wore an Indian Saree with matching earrings and applied light gloss. I visit Temple first and on the way as usual I bought chocolates and books.

She was very happy to see me in Indian attire and also by receiving Prasad, chocolate and books. I was just leaving when I received a call from Jia, "Dr. Williams, I am sorry to bother you on your day off.. but it is an emergency.. we had a 7 month pregnant woman who faced an accident..blood loss.. Intern doctors are afraid to perform the surgery.. it would be great if you can help.."

"Prepare the things.. I will be there in twenty minutes."-I rushed directly from rehab to hospital. When I entered the hospital that time I realized that I am wearing a Saree...Everyone was glaring at me. I ran towards changing room and wore my scrubs. It took me one and half hour to tackle the situation.. we induced labour because wȯmb is not in the condition to help the baby due to accident. Infant was sent to children's ward.. We saved both. After completion I changed into my Saree. I was in lobby when I heard an unfamiliar voice.

"Dr. Jessica Williams"

I turned back.. before I recognize the person.. his lips went on mine..Getting the situation , I pushed him away.Staff and patients shred awkward glances upon us.

SHIT..!! SHIT.. !!

it's him.. Christian Walton just kissed me in my hospital infront of so many people..

"What are you doing?? "- I questioned him and step aback.

He encircled my waist with his arm-"I know Honey.. you are angry.. but I m coming home back.. I also missed the baby a lot...and you look gorgeous in what ever you are wearing."he winked at me and whispered, -"Let's not create any scene over here.. have dinner with me,we will talk over there, I don't want to ruin your image".

Realising the situation I pass him a fake smile. He opened the door of his white Audi A8.I gave him an unpleasant look, -"I can drive for myself " and I headed toward my car. As I start the car he jumped in the passenger seat,-"I better give you a company ".Unwantedly I nodded. "Dinner is on me.. get to El gaucho. "-he said. I start driving.
