Gabriel touched the mark. "This is my badge of honour, I will wear it proudly. You did really well." He touched her cheek.
"It looks painful. Are you sure that I did not hurt you?" she reached her hand out and tenderly touched the skin that was now marked by her. She had tears starting to form in her eyes.
"Angel, it doesn't hurt. As a matter of fact. I -love the mark that you left on me. It made me want to. Do things that we cannot do … yet. As for why I studied this, I thought that if I studied them at least I would have the knowledge of making it enjoyable for my partner. Even though it would be my first time." He pulled her down on his lap. "That is enough on this."
"But I want to know more about you. If it doesn't hurt then how does it feel good?" she looked up at him with her innocent eyes.
Gabriel reached up and pulled her down and kissed away the tears that were threatening to fall. "If it is what you want to know, I will tell you everything that you want. Just know that I am not hurt, and I love you very much." He took her hand and lowered it to his cock. "This is what your marking me did. I will not force you to keep your hand on me, but I want you to understand that you are the only one that makes me feel like this. I enjoy everything that you do to me." He lets go of her hand.
Feeling the hardness of his cock Amelia's face flares up in a deep red and when he lets her hand go she pulls it away quickly. "Do-do you think that we will get in trouble for you placing my hand, ummm, down there. She glances at his groin area then up to his face.
"No, I do not think that it will be anything bad. You are so innocent but do remember that you are the only one that gets this privilege with me." He chuckled at her being flustered. "We will be wed soon enough. Do you want to stay up here cuddling?"
Amelia rested her head on his chest and her hand over his heart. "I want to relax with you." She shivers a little from the light breeze.
Gabriel grabbed the blanket and placed the side over top of them. "It is okay to tell me that you are cold. I will take care of you." He holds her nice and close warming her up.
"It is not that I am cold but that the breeze was slightly chilly. I am still embarrassed over the mark that I, ummmm, left on your chest…" Amelia buries her face into 'his chest.
Gabriel chuckles and just holds her. "It is okay, I told you that I will not do anything to you until you are ready. That will include that wedding night. I do not want to push your body too hard. You are already battling your illness."
"I will do whatever I can to take care of you. I know that you didn't ask for this life, but you are now mine to love, cherish, and take care of. We should head down now. I know that you need to work on finishing that assignment and I don't mind if you sit in my lap while I read a book. If that won't probe to be distracting?"
"Depending on the book. It may be distracting, unless I am able to read it later?" Amelia smiled before slowly backing away.
"If you are that interested in my reading then you are more than welcome to reading the book. It is going to one of the new ones that I bought to study. Subaru wrote a herb book and I must say that I really enjoyed the book. I thought that I should review more of the herbs that I am not used to using." Gabriel sat up and picked her up as she was wrapped up in the blanket, I will carry you."
Amelia feels herself lifted in the air and quickly wraps her arms around Gabriel's neck. "It's that the new herb that correlates to my medication?"
"Yes, that is the one. Subaru is the one that helped me find the herb that was supposed to take me a longer time to find, but thanks to him and his expertise we were able to get some in a reasonable timeline. It was a life changing thing. His wife had the same disease that you do. She passed away after some time, and he really wants to learn to make your medicine. I do not know if it is because he worries that Itsuki might get it when he gets older or if there is something else that he is concerned over but as an exchange for his help I will be teaching him."
"Since there is an information exchange I do have to agree with your decision. Subaru has faced this in the past It is sad that he lost his wife, but he still has Itsuki. I wouldn't want for the boy to catch what I have. It is typically fatal." Amelia nuzzled into Gabriel's chest. "I know that is not what you want to hear, but there has only been the change of my life expectancy a few times."
Gabriel sat her down on the porch. "I know what you mean. I am worried about it but that is not going to stop what has already passed. It is more about looking to see what we can do about the future. It is after all your future that I want."
Sitting on the porch she slips the geta sandals off and slips on slippers. "I want a future with you. I am quite enjoying spending time with you even though it has only been a short amount of time. Thank you for saving me." Amelia gets up and lets the blanket that she was wrapped up in fall to the ground.
Collecting the blanket Gabriel followed her into her room and placed the blanket to the side. "I will go grab the book, and you can show me how fast you can complete the needlework assignment."
Amelia giggled and watched as Gabriel left the room. She sat down at the table and laid out all the purple colours. 'I am quite lucky that Miyuki was the one that brought me the colours I needed. I don't think that Sachi had any idea that it was for her and not for Gabriel.' She started on the chrysanthemum that she had almost completed/ When she finished that one she started the add platycodon (Japanese Bellflower). It was a star-shaped flower that was lighter in colour but had veins of a deeper purple. In the centre was a yellowish bulb with a small amount of white. Sh focused on the flowers until Gabriel's return.
Gabriel left the room and smiled as he walked back to his room. He grabbed the herb book and smiled at the paintings around. Noticing that a few of them were no longer in the room.
Edna knocked on the door. "I hope that you do not mind that I had a few of the paints hung up? They are too beautiful to leave collecting dust in your closet."
"Mother, I do not have an issue with this. I expected that you would do that. The main painting that you want to hang is nearly done. I still have a few of the finer details to finish. Amelia is very happy with how it turned up. I am only in my room to get this book of herbs. Amelia has an assignment to get done, so I thought that I should sit with her while she works on that." Gabriel held up the book for Edna to see.
"I will go and order some tea from the kitchen for the booth of you. Is… is Amelia feeling alright?" Edna looked worried.
Gabriel walked up and patted Edna on the shoulder. She is a lot better than when she first came here. The blackouts were delayed so ion my books that is an improvement. Not matter how small it is that is all that matters. Amelia will appreciate the tea and maybe something sweet to go with it. She ate only a small amount at lunch."
