81 Chapter 81: Don’t Try To Fool Us

Kylie got out of the taxi, once she arrived at the film base. The first thing she saw was a bunch of William Woolf's fans waiting outside. They looked at her when they heard the sound of the cab door slamming shut.

Even though she wasn't wearing any makeup, they recognized the woman as Kylie Finch. They surrounded her within a few seconds.

"It's Kylie Finch! That bitch!"

"You shameless bitch! Get away from my William!"

"Did you just have intimacy with another man? You should get the fuck out of the industry!"

There was no sign of any guards. She had to figure out how to enter the building by herself.

The actors and actresses, standing at a distance, didn't try to help her out since they were enjoying the spectacle.

Their eyes were like sharp knives, killing her bit by bit.

Suddenly, Kylie remembered times when many famous actors and actresses had left the industry.

They couldn't stand virtual violence.

She knew that people's words could eat someone alive. That kind of suffering had happened before. And it has gotten significantly worse in the Internet age. Everyone in the entertainment industry was suffering, at one time or another.

A fan, who was holding a sign with William Woolf's face on it, threw it at her when she saw Kylie approaching.

But the fan overestimated her own strength. The sign went soaring past Kylie and straight towards Miss Cotty's head."

Kylie saw what was about to happen, and ran towards Miss Cotty as quickly as she could, blocking the prop designer's body with her own.

The sign directly hit Kylie on the back.

Kylie was wearing jean overalls, and the sign hooked her. It scratched her arm; a good amount of blood came pouring out.

Everybody was silent, and it even took Miss Cotty a long time to realize what had happened.

Kylie frowned and looked at William's fans without emotion. "You can hate me. But don't hurt anybody else."

"You…you hit me, so my sign went the wrong way," the girl immediately denied.

"Don't try to fool us."

"Yeah, you think you can fool us? Bitch."

She sneered glaring. "No matter if I am an actress or just a bitch, a video can't tell the whole story. You call yourselves real fans of William Woolf? Would you still love him if he was the villain? Don't let yourselves be used by others as pawns. You will be your idol's burden."

But Kylie knew that they would never listen to her.

The only person who could convince them of anything was their idol, William Woolf.

William Woolf had been in this industry for about twenty years. No one could doubt his hard work and dedication.

He never needed to promote any of his television shows or films. He spent a lot of his money on family and charities. He had never been involved in a scandal involving a woman. Some even thought that he was gay.

He let everyone believe that he was dedicated to his relationship. He had announced in his show that his mother liked the girl he had brought home very much. He would inform the public of whom he was dating, at the right time.

"We don't need you to tell us what kind of person William is!" The girl who had thrown the sign was very aggressive. Everyone else followed her lead.

"Actually, she's right…My William is not that kind of man."

"He would never choose a woman like Kylie Finch!"

The girl who had thrown the sign saw that the topic was going in the wrong direction, so she stepped forward. "The video is absolutely real. I saw her grab William's hands."

"This…"

Kylie looked at her and knew what was happening.

She smiled at that girl. "Since you are such a big fan of William Woolf, tell me, when did he enter the entertainment industry and what movies has he been in? What is he busy with other than his own show?"

After Kylie asked those questions, the girl looked uncomfortable.

She looked around, and everyone else stared at her like the questions were the simplest things in the world.

But the girl's heart started wildly bouncing.

After hesitating for a while, she clenched her fists in anxiety. "Your questions are so easy. You are insulting me!"

The other girls began talking again:

"Yeah. Of course, everyone knows when he entered the industry."

"Yeah, I remember when he played the role of an emperor. He was so handsome and dedicated."

"Yeah, he was once a guest on The Impossible Challenge, and he was incredible. When I saw that girl set him up, I was heart-broken..."

The fans surrounding Kylie talked to each other and seemed to have forgotten the purpose of her visit.

The girl who had thrown the sign looked at Kylie with some smugness. She said: "Don't think that we'll forgive you just because you've changed the subject. You ruined my Oppa's reputation."

After she had said those words, a nearby fan suddenly looked at the girl incredulously.

"Did you say 'Oppa'?"

The discussion instantly stopped, and everyone's eyes fell on the girl who had thrown the sign.

She looked at them blankly, not knowing what she had done. So they continued to give her a weird look. "Yes..." she replied, unsure.

"You are definitely not his fan."

"Who are you? Why are you posing as his fan?"

"William doesn't like anyone to call him 'Oppa'—you don't know that?"

A group of people besieged the girl, and she could no longer conceal her own nervousness. "I, I became his fan just now, I don't know everything..."

The scene was chaotic again; war seemed to begin between fans and fans.

The security personnel arrived right in time. Kylie whispered something to the security guards, then strode into the studio.

After the chaos had stopped, a fan said: "I just heard Kylie tell a security guard not to call the police or hurt us. I don't think she is particularly bad."

"I think that the figure in the video looked a bit like her, but the skin tone was definitely different. Maybe we were wrong?"

"We caused all this trouble for her without any proof. We overdid it."

"Who called us here?"

"I don't know somebody in the fan group. I just followed."

"Me too. Maybe Kylie was right, and we are being used?"

The girl who had thrown the sign slipped out of the crowd and called someone: "I didn't expect Kylie to be so smart. I failed..."
