97 Chapter 97: Which One You Have Fulfilled?

"Really?" Kylie spits out, the cigarette smoke wafting towards Khloe's face, making her choke. "Then, do you dare to tell Aiden that you're not the one who saved him that year?"

Instantly, Khloe's face became pale and ashen. She looked at Kylie with her eyes wide open. "You! Then do you have any evidence to prove you're the one?"

Laurence had no clue what they were arguing about now. He was bitterly upset about this whole issue and had a severe headache. Raising his voice, he stopped this nonsense, "THAT'S IT. Stop fighting! Khloe, now that it's the requirement put forward by Extreme Luxury, this time Kylie will take it."

"Dad!" Khloe stamped her foot furiously and whined, sounding exactly like a five-year-old.

"That's it. That's my final decision. Everyone get out! Kylie, let your new assistant in." Laurence ordered coldly. He really could not do anything about it anymore. But what made him angry most was the fact that Kylie was already beyond his control.

Kylie was a smart girl, and she naturally understood the intention of her father wanting to meet Faith. However, he would be quite surprised at meeting her, she was sure. Following Khloe outside, Kylie could not help but smirk in pleasure at watching Khloe's face, full of disappointment and jealousy. Khloe glared angrily at Kylie before walking over to Lucas, "I'm going to send you a few pictures of me crying. You post them online, instigate my fans that Kylie made trouble at the office, and snatched my cover! The thing I can't get; that bitch won't get either!"

Returning to Faith, Kylie said to her, "My father wants to meet you, don't be too nervous."

"What are you talking about!" Faith wiped her mouth as she had been busy eating the candy at Garcia Entertainment's reception. "I'm not a newbie, and I know the drill."

Granted, Faith had been a low-key employee at Garcia Entertainment, but now? Now, the situation had changed, she had learned, and most importantly, she believed in Kylie. So she strode towards Laurence Finch's office fearlessly.

As soon as she entered the office, Laurence threw a document towards her. "You broke the contract, just wait for the letter from my lawyer. I'm going to send you to jail!"

"Broke the contract?" Faith taunted with a faint smile, "Mr. Finch, you seem to forget that it was Lily who fired me. Besides, I'm just an assistant, and I did not sign any contract with you. So how can I break it?"

"You!" Laurence did not expect that a mere assistant would dare to refute him.

"If you insist on the topic of breach of contract, I would like to say something about that. When Kylie signed with the company, there was a guaranteed item on the contract as to how many plays she can take annually, how many ads she can receive, and what kind of activities she can attend... Which one have you fulfilled?" Faith was confident and provocative, the result of doing her research and knowing her enemies well.

"What…what the fuck are you talking about?"

"Well, …Mr. Finch, let's not be a hypocrite here, right? Otherwise, this could go on and on." Faith smiled faintly at Laurence's reaction.

Laurence was in a violent rage. When he proposed to let Faith be Lily's agent, Faith had not agreed. If she had been signed in to the company then, he would not be so helpless now.

"Get the fuck out of my office!" Laurence roared.

"Mr. Finch, I'd like to remind you," Faith stopped at the door and turned around, "The things you owe Kylie, I'm afraid you will have to pay for them a hundred times over!"

When Kylie finally arrived home, Ethan was not yet home. Lucy, their housekeeper, was busy in the kitchen. Finding nothing else to do, Kylie walking into the kitchen, "Lucy, can you teach me how to cook whatever you're making?"

Lucy turned around and smiled kindly, "Ma'am, it's better you dont come in. Mr. Ethan has forbidden us to allow you to do any work."

Kylie rolled her eyes, "The breakfast I made for Lord Ethan was all burnt. Just teach me the basics? Please..." She acted girly, pulling Lucy's apron. Lucy smiled and nodded. Why not? She thought to herself. She actually liked the girl, and yes, her cooking was horrible. But Ethan had said that Kylie was not allowed to enter the kitchen.

"Ok, then you stand by the island and listen, you will not cook!" Lucy still forbade her to take half a step closer, making Kylie roll her eyes.

When Ethan reached home, the sky was already dark. Pupu came running up, making Ethan smile. For the longest time, Pupu had been the only joy of his life, but now Kylie brought so much more light to his life. Whenever he saw her in their home, he would feel a warm fuzzy feeling fill his stomach.

Kylie was still standing at the kitchen door looking inside, sometimes confusedly at what Lucy was doing and sometimes hungrily as the scents wafted towards her nose. Watching her, Ethan felt that same unprecedented warmness in his heart. He walked up quietly and slid his arms around her, gently kissing her ear. Kylie jumped in surprise but immediately melted in his arms as she felt the familiar touch.

Turning her around, he kissed her lips. "Mmm…you taste better than all these dishes..."

Lucy looked up and smiled at the young couple. She was finally happy to see her, and Lord Ethan found love. She quietly slipped out, letting the love birds have some privacy.

Ethan's kisses fell on her chin and trailed slowly down her neck, finally settling on her collarbone, making her moan. "Ethan… you're …oh God…" Kylie replied breathlessly. Her collarbone was her weak point, and Ethan took full advantage of that.

"Hmm, you like that, my poison?" Ethan asked quietly, fully aware Lucy was somewhere around.

Kylie leaned in his arms, hearing his voice, "Five months left..." Kylie understood and nodded, smiling softly. This was the date set by him when she would give the man all her heart and soul. The day they both were eagerly waiting for.

"Ethan, I want to learn how to cook," Kylie said, still wrapped up in his embrace.
