147 Chapter 147: She Deserved I

When Kylie signed into Facebook, she noticed that she had received a friend request from a stranger. She was about to refuse, but then she saw a note that was attached to it. It read: "The whole universe belongs to you. You don't need to look up to one single star."

Kylie accepted the friend request and replied to the note with a friendly emoji. It was obviously Ethan who had sent her the request under a pseudonym. In his message, he was telling her that she did not need her friend, Stars, when she had him at her beck and call. "You are too much," she replied.

"No," Ethan replied, "you are because you even dare to talk to random men over the internet."

Kylie laughed at the childishness of their exchange. She could not imagine that her husband was like this. All he could do, he willingly does it for her benefit.

A beautiful woman sat on a sofa across from Ethan. She has curly hair and wore a designer suit. Her name was Dora Hilton, and she had been watching him ever since he picked up his phone. He smiled at her awkwardly, and she smiled back, confidently. He had known her for over a decade and had yet to figure her out.

He watched her as she lit a cigarette and smoked it to the butt. Finally, he broke the silence: "What's up?"

"Nothing," Dora replied as she lit another cigarette. "Not really. I have already collected all of the materials you've asked for. Is there anything else that you need?"

Ethan smiled and said, "Tell Kylie Johnson to begin shooting Kylie Finch's part in Tea Maiden."

"But…" Dora hesitated for a second. "Due to the negative press she's received, I've asked Director Johnson to cut her part off of the film."

"Then have it pasted back in again," Ethan told her. "Control V, as it were."

She is my wife, and she deserved it. I can't allow anybody to bully my wife! Ethan silently thought.

"Are you sure?" Dora asked hesitantly. She wants to remind him that this woman recently had a bad reputation after the press release.

"Heed my word," Ethan replied. "At the moment Kylie has the popular vote. Within a month, she will be at the top of the world." A proud smile drew in Ethan's handsome face.

Dora winked, and, with a smile, she said, "You seem to know a lot about Kylie Finch…"

Ethan scowled and waved her away. "Just go and do as I've asked. I feel exhausted. I don't want to explain to you,"

Dora quickly responded, "I will do it immediately."

As soon as Dora walked out of the Century Center, she called Kylien and delivered Ethan's order. Then, as an afterthought, she asked him if he knew anything about the relationship between Ethan and Kylie. He did not, though, and he said as much. All he knew was that it had been Ethan who had asked for Kylie to be a part of Tea Maiden."

Hearing this, Dora frowned. She had feelings for Ethan and found herself suddenly feeling jealous of Kylie. She can't allow another woman to snatch Ethan away from her. After all, he had never gone out of his way to do something like this for her.

Dora stepped outside, and her car pulled up. The driver appeared from the car, pulled the car door open for her, and said, "Miss Hilton, you look upset. What happened? Did Lord Ethan annoy you? Did he say something that offended you?" The driver's voice was full of concern.

The driver protected Dora's head with one hand when she got in and went around the car to get in the front seat. "Miss Hilton," he continued excitedly, "you know that you can tell me anything and trust me to keep my mouth shut. I am not like all of those other blabbermouth drivers."

"It is nothing," Dora lied because she doesn't want to explain to him. "I have a headache. That's all. I need some silence. She felt like she wasted all her energy after hearing Ethan's order earlier. She had to breathe because her chest seemed to explode with the thought that Kylie and Ethan might have a serious relationship,"

"That is one thing that I can give you," the driver laughed. Trying to console her.

Aiden was packing for Khloe when she hugged him from behind and, when she whispered in his ear, her voice was mild and gentle. "Aiden," she called his name gently, "you haven't visited me in a long time. I'd thought you'd given me up."

"Never! I came here now, so why are you still upset?" he giggled. "I have just been busy recently. And tons of tasks were given to me," He added.

Aiden put down the stuff he'd been carrying, turned around, and embraced Khloe properly. "If I didn't care about you at all," he continued, "I wouldn't be going to Hamorna with you! You should be grateful that I've still been with you,"

Khloe looked Aiden in the eyes and said, "If Kylie ends up doing this project, I don't want to see you anywhere near her. It would be best if you didn't get involved with her. Do you understand?" She heaved a deep sighed afterward.

Aiden nodded sheepishly. "I understand. I will always remember it," he told her. "I will only look at you. I will not be going to love another woman except you. Why don't you go lie down while I have a shower and finish packing?" He suggested persuading her. He doesn't want to have another hateful agreement right now. He knew how Jasmin been jealous of Kylie. He always heard her complaining often.

Although Khloe didn't believe that Aiden wouldn't take a look at Kylie at all, she was content just knowing that he belonged to her. Furthermore, she had already taken steps to keep them apart. To begin with, she had upgraded their tickets to first class, which was where she believed that she belonged.
