163 Chapter 163: A Perfect Match

Although Kylie did not rely on Ethan's to do her thinking for her, she took his advice seriously. He was smart. He had excellent ideas and, given the way that he looked at the world, she suspected that he was the only person in the world who would ever truly understand her. She thinks that this man is the only person who truly loves and accepts her flaws. Since she lost her mother and grandfather, she supported herself alone because the man she hoped to protect was the first one who rejected her. It was her beloved father, Laurence. She remembered what her own father had done to her. Laurence drove him out of their home even though his grandfather owned it.

In Kylie's opinion, she and Ethan were a perfect match. In private, most people who saw them together; that is, their family and friends, came to the same conclusion. For one, Lucas couldn't help but wonder if there was anything these two, together, could not pull off, and he was itching to see what kind of revenge they would enact on Laurence and Khloe. Lucas is aware of Ethan's ability to take all revenge quickly because of his money and power in the eyes of the public. Presumably, Kylie is lucky to be the one Ethan chose to marry. These thoughts lingered at Lucas's mind while staring at the couple.

Once the food was laid out on the table, Kylie followed Ethan into the kitchen. Seeing as he was still busy, she hugged him from behind. Knowing it was her, Ethan ignored her and continued to work. He still had dessert to finish. When Kylie's hands found his naughty bits, though, he found that he couldn't ignore her any longer.

Kylie slipped her hand into the front of his jeans and underwear. As she took hold of his hard member, she gave it a gentle squeeze and whispered into his ear: "Ethan... are you hungry? I can give you some food," Her voice was seductive.

Ethan touched her arm and gasped as she began to stroke his engorged manhood. "I am hungry," he replied, "but this is… not… the time or place… later… Honey, you are torturing your husband while your visitor is near us,"

At this, Kylie pulled her hand out of his pants and wrapped her arms around him as she had done previously. "Alright," Kylie replied, "but I will hold you to that. I expect to get some attention from your serpent tonight. No ifs, and, or buts about it. Do you hear me?"

Smiling, Ethan nodded. "My pleasure to please you on the bed," He winked at her.

Kylie couldn't stop teasing her husband. She grabbed Ethan's neck and quickly wrapped her arms around it. She pulled him closer and claimed his mouth.

After a few minutes, they almost both panted when their lips parted, "Now, how long will it be until dessert is ready?" She asked while looking at him lovingly.

"It is almost done," Ethan replied while suppressing his strong desire. "Why don't you go and clear the table?"

Kylie nodded and went back into the dining room to collect the dishes and the remaining food from the middle of the table. She returned with a wet rag, cleaned the table, and went back to the kitchen and asked Ethan if the dessert was ready yet.

"Pretty much," he replied as he pointed to the counter where he'd placed a tray filled with individually sized crème brulee. "I just took these out of the oven. I'm going to give them a minute to cool down, and then I'll sprinkle them with sugar and caramelize honey at the top with a blow torch. Once that is done, I will serve them with a dollop of fresh whipped cream." He explained a little.

"What is a crème brulee," Kylie wondered, "and how did you learn how to make it?" She was amused by her husband's way of explaining to her.

"It is a kind of custard," Ethan replied. "My grandmother taught me how to make it before she passed away. When you first try to make it, it can be quite difficult. Once you get used to it, though, it is very simple. I will bring them to the table and show everyone how it is finished. Most people aren't used to seeing a blowtorch being used for cooking their food, and they find the whole process quite interesting."

Indeed, as Ethan ran the blowtorch over the dishes, no one could keep their eyes off of it. They were all surprised that this man, who was well known for his ruthlessness and mysterious demeanor, would be so good in the kitchen. They had all eaten at five-star restaurants before and were surprised that Ethan's food surpassed anything they'd ever eaten.

"This is amazing," Lucas said, "It is no wonder that Kylie loves you so much. Thank you for the delicious dinner, and I can't wait to dig into the desert."

Once the brulee was properly caramelized, Ethan added a dollop of whipped cream and placed a dish in front of each of them. Faith was the first to attempt to dig into hers, but she found that her spoon wouldn't go through the sugar. "What is this?" she asked. "Am I doing something wrong?"

"No," Ethan laughed. "You just don't know how to eat it. The caramelized sugar and honey creates a barrier on top of the custard. You just need to hit it a little harder, and it will crack." He explained.

Faith followed his instructions and was pleased when the brulee did exactly as Ethan had said it would. Then, without hesitation, she brought a spoonful to her mouth. Once she'd swallowed her first spoonful, she turned to Ethan and thanked him. Ethan smiled, bowed, and said, "I am glad you enjoyed it. If there is one thing that a chef loves more than anything, it is seeing people who are happy while eating something that they'd prepared especially for them."
