368 Chapter 368: They Could Be Scheming

"Then, who is she?" Faith was surprised.

Lucas shook his head. When he just raised her knife and fork, Faith grabbed them away.

"Don't rush to eat now. Let's figure it out first," Faith said.

Kylie thought for a while, then asked, "Does she have entry and exit records?"

Lucas abruptly looked at her, like he finally met someone who knew him so well.

"Her name's Anita Hughes, a nurse. She just came back from Britain." Lucas didn't have a knife and fork now, so he could only eat with his hands. He got a giant lobster, and said, "Anita Hughes has a boyfriend named Harry Hilton, who just came back from the UK with her."

Harry Hilton, Dora Hilton, it couldn't be a coincidence!

Faith thought of Kylie's previous analysis and had to admit that she was a quite sensible person.

Faith looked at Kylie and asked with doubt, "Could Harry Hilton be Dora Hilton's relative?"

Lucas gave her a thumbs-up, but nobody knew whether he was complimenting Faith's cooking skill or her agile mind.

Kylie, instead, looked at Lucas, waiting for his answer.

"Harry Hilton is Dora Hilton's younger brother. Dora's been missing ever since she was eight, so nobody knew when and how did they manage to contact each other again." Lucas got another large lobster, saying while eating, "Harry Hilton came home this time must look for his older bro-sister."

Afterward, he glanced at Kylie, then looked at Faith before he ate the lobster up.

Although Lucas changed his word at the last second, Faith knew it wasn't usual.

She kicked Lucas's chair, then asked with a smile, "How did you know that?" "I..." Lucas panicked for a second, then remained silent, focusing on food.

"He has a great boyfriend." Kylie kicked Lucas's chair again under the table. "When will you be married? Don't forget to invite me."

Lucas suddenly flushed red and said in a meager voice, "I can't do that. It'll affect his career."

Faith didn't know who Lucas's boyfriend was, so she naturally didn't understand it.

However, Kylie had confidential papers Ethan gave her in her hands, which recorded the private life of an essential figure in politics. One of the shocking secrets was that he liked men, and Lucas was the one who had been with him for the longest time.

A politician wouldn't be willing to ruin his career just for a lover, so Lucas had agreed to work for Kylie without hesitation back then.

"Let's drop it. Lucas, you've done a great job today, and you'll get a double bonus this mouth." Kylie smiled and pushed the plate of lobsters to the front of him. "Well, you may enjoy dinner together, and I should go home now."

Kylie didn't want to tell Ethan about the mysterious person before, because she thought she could handle it well on her own.

However, once this mysterious man was related to Dora, she thought it was necessary to tell him.

Dora's younger brother must stalk her for a reason. They could be scheming to do something.

Lucas and Faith walked Kylie to the door and saw her getting in the car.

The nanny van drove straight into the Finch family's house. When Kylie got off, she noticed the man who was standing on the steps, smiling at her.

"How do you know that I'm back." Kylie walked over and took the man's arm, stepping into the house.

"I heard the engine sound of the car." Ethan hugged her in his arm and raised his hand to wipe off the juice particles left around her mouth.

"Have you eaten? I have something serious to talk to you." There was a smile in Kylie's eyes, but she seemed very serious.

Ethan looked at her and said in a light voice, "About Dora?"

Kylie cocked her neck, staring at him. She was curious about how he knew it.

Ethan smiled. "You went out all of a sudden this morning because someone was looking for you, but the person was gone when you were out, right?"

"Did Lucy tell you this?" Kylie was surprised.

The man shook his head, and there was a touch of disdain flashed by his eyes.

Kylie pulled her lips. She again forgot that he had been a soldier in the special forces, so he was super insightful.

The moment they walked back to the bedroom, Ethan said to her, "There are two useful ways to analyze whether a person is lying. First, from the number of times the person pauses to distinguish whether what the person just said is temporarily fabricated."

"Second, if the person raises his or her voice, it's highly possible that he or she is covering up the guilty conscience." Ethan rubbed Kylie's feet to help her relax her feet. "You've done both of that this morning."

"So, you peeked at me?" Kylie pointed at the window.

The window of their bedroom was right, facing the gate. As long as he opened the curtains, he was able to see it clearly.

Ethan smiled. "I just wanted to air the room, and I saw it by accident."

Kylie pursed her lips. "Why don't you guess what I'm gonna say next?"

"I don't need to guess. I already know it." Ethan had done the investigation after Lucy told him everything in the first place.

He, of course, had found out more than Lucas. He even got to know some secrets that Lucas didn't know.

"Wait for a second," Ethan said, then took out his phone and clicked open an application.

The application worked like Twitter but was much more powerful than it. Ethan said to his phone, "Connect the video of Dora to me."

The person on the other side sent back an affirmative answer, then requested for a video call.

Ethan sat by the bed, hugging Kylie in his arms so she could watch along with him.

After the video was connected, a room decorated in a simple style showed, but it didn't look like a ward or a senior ward.

A bed soon appeared in the picture, and a person was sleeping on it. Dora.

She didn't look too good, and she still had injection through the back of her hand.

"What happened to her?" Ethan asked in a low voice.

A man's voice sounded in the video. "She wanted to escape a few days ago, but fell off the stairs and hit her head."

"Why didn't you tell me?" Ethan sounded cold in an instant.

"The doctor said she was fine and could be awake soon, but who knows what she's still unconscious today. I plan to report to you tomorrow if she still can't wake up."

Kylie pulled Ethan's arm and whispered, "I want to see Dora's face."

She wanted to make sure whether this unconscious person was really Dora.

Ethan repeated Kylie's words, and the angle of the video turned again before it slowly fell on Dora's face.

Kylie took his phone, staring carefully at Dora's closed eyes and the water vapor in the breathing mask.

"She fell from the stairs, but how come she didn't hurt her face at all?" Kylie was puzzled.

Even if Dora had stepped on the air and fallen down from the stairs, it was impossible that she had landed on her back all the time, because that wouldn't cause a concussion.

Since it was a concussion, her head must have slammed into something during her tumbling process.

In that case, her face must have rubbed across the ground. Even if it was a long-haired carpet, it should leave a piece of bruise somewhere anyway.

After Kylie finished speaking, a male's hand appeared in the video all of a sudden, and it grabbed Dora's head and turned it around.

"Lord Ethan, is she the real Dora?"
