430 Chapter 430: Don’t Scare Me

Kylie looked at the tempting meat, and her mouth was already watering.

"Can I?" she asked Ethan.

Ethan smiled. "Sure, enjoy it."

Without hesitation, Kylie picked a large piece of meat with her fingers and put it into her mouth.

Ethan took out a tissue from his pocket and carefully wiped the sauce off her lips again.

Seeing the loving couple, Taylor felt like crying with envy. She held old Mrs. Parker's hand and did her best not to cry.

Old Mrs. Parker looked at her with encouragement and patted on the back of her hand.

After a short while, the plate was empty.

Kylie rubbed her stomach and said, "I'm already full now. What should I do when we share the meal together later?"

Ethan smiled. "If my father asks you, you can say you're suffering morning sickness."

"Ha-ha, ha-ha." Taylor snorted with laughter.

Old Mr. Parker indeed noticed Kylie barely ate anything when they shared the meal together later.

"Kylie, do you have no appetite for these dishes? We can let the cook make new dishes for you," Old Mr. Parker asked with concern.

Kylie looked at old Mr. Parker with slight embarrassment. "Father, it's not about the food, but I just feel like vomiting these days no matter what the food is." She wasn't lying, though.

When she swallowed the plate of meat just then, she felt it tasted so good.

However, she felt like throwing up the moment she finished the whole plate.

Old Mr. Parker also remembered old Mrs. Parker had suffered the same unpleasant feeling when she had been pregnant with Ethan that year, so he turned to ask old Mrs. Parker, "How did you get through that period of time?"

Old Mrs. Parker shook her head. "I stopped vomiting after the first four months, and it's not appropriate to take medicines during pregnancy."

Kylie rubbed her stomach standing up. "I'm sorry. If you'll excuse me, I need to have a walk in the garden."

When Kylie moved the chair backward, Ethan stood up as well. "I'll go with you."

After that, Ethan hugged Kylie with one arm, stepping outside.

Matthew glanced at them and pulled his lips with disdain.

He thought Ethan had spoiled Kylie rotten so that Kylie became delicate now.

Seeing Taylor staring at him, he smiled to please her. "Taylor, you didn't vomit when you were pregnant, right?"

Taylor snorted, then moved her eyes away.

Matthew was ignored and felt annoyed, but didn't dare vent his anger at Taylor.

However, he still blamed Kylie for it.

When Kylie and Ethan just walked in the garden, Kylie couldn't help but throw up at once.

She laid her hand against a tree, and tears were coming out from her eyes. Ethan patted her back. "Do you feel sick now?"

"No..." Kylie wanted to say something but vomited again all of a sudden.

"I need to call Stephen." Ethan took out his phone from his pocket.

Kylie stopped him. "Please don't. If he knows I began to vomit after eating a whole plate of meat, he'll laugh at me."

"We must tell him the truth. He's the doctor." Ethan moved her hand away and called Stephen.

Stephen, instead, didn't make fun of Kylie at all after hearing the news, but still smiled gently. "Morning sickness is very normal, and Kylie is doing well now. Some pregnant women will start vomiting once she's pregnant till the fourth month."

"Is there any way to relieve that?" Ethan's heart ached for Kylie.

"Eat more fruits. Nothing else," Stephen said.

Kylie grabbed the phone away and asked, "I've already been pregnant for three months, so will I be fine after vomiting for a month to the most?"

"Hard to say, because it depends on your body condition. Some pregnant women will vomit till the birth," Stephen said.

"What?" Kylie was shocked. "Don't scare me!"

Stephen laughed at the other side of the phone. "I'm just kidding. Relax!"

"You're my doctor. If you let me vomit till the birth, I promise I'll kill you!" Kylie threatened him.

If Stephen had been in front of her face, she would have punched him!

The smile gradually disappeared from Stephen's face. "At least I must be alive till your babies are out. I want to see them before I die."

Kylie felt a little embarrassed hearing Stephen's affectionate words. She cleared her throat and said, "Where is Dinah? Is she with you? Can I talk to her?"

"She just went out. You can call her if you want to talk to her," Stephen said.

"Sure. You can talk to Ethan now, and I'll call Dinah." Kylie gave the phone back to Ethan, then took out hers to call Dinah.

Dinah ended Kylie's call after her phone rang just for a few seconds but soon called Kylie back.

However, Dinah's voice was unusually low. "Kylie? What's up?"

"Where are you now?" Kylie asked.

"I'm in the middle of fulfilling a task. I'll call you back," Dinah said, then hung up.

Kylie was confused because she thought Dinah was already retired.

Ethan also ended his talk with Stephen and asked Kylie, "What's wrong?"

"Is Dinah still serving in the army as a soldier in the special forces?" Kylie asked.

Ethan nodded. "Kinda. She's an agent, and the leader will only contact her when there is a task." After that, Ethan suddenly looked very serious. "Did she leave to carry out a task?"

"Yeah, is it dangerous?" Kylie was worried.

"Dinah and Vincent Gump are working together on Michael's case all the time. Although Michael was caught but had an abnormal death, I think they must be investigating who's Michael's boss behind his back," Ethan said.

"I hope they could be safe." Kylie leaned on Ethan's chest.

Michael's boss was very mysterious and cruel.

Ethan patted her shoulder to comfort her. "Dinah's very good at lurking and sniping. She won't open fire on them face to face."

Even though Kylie still had a hunch.

Crawling on a container of the dock were two figures.

"It's almost ashore," Vincent said, then gave Dinah the telescope in his hands before he sat up to assemble a sniper rifle.

Dinah put her phone into her pocket and raised the telescope. "They're digging their own graves by doing the meal on a bright day."

A speed boat was moving fast in her sight, and there were two bulky strong black men with a black suitcase laid by their feet standing on it.

"They come with the goods," Dinah snorted.

The gun was loaded, and Dinah knew their target couldn't escape anymore this time.
