"Weimin, I… I won't blame you if… you change your mind after this," a sob escaped Xu Jia Li's throat once she finished her sentence. She felt suffocated. Just thinking about losing Si Weimin drove her crazy. But she knew that she had to try.

Then, a delicate touch on her face dazed her. She looked straight into his eyes when she felt Si Weimin gently squeezing her hands, "Trust the love I have for you, Jia. Even at your worst, you will still have me. I love you…"

When Si Weimin grabbed her waist and kissed her, she felt all her apprehensions flew out of her mind. With heart pounding fast, she felt him slowly nibbling her lower lip. She shivered as the ecstasy engulfed her. Her body responded to his every little touch – his gentle caress to her hair down to her neck until it made its way on her back. She kissed him back, ever so passionately. As if her lips had their own mind.

She closed her eyes as she savored the immense joy that his kiss brought her. She felt Si Weimin pulled her even closer until she was sitting on his lap, her legs apart. She wrapped her arms around Si Weimin's neck as she succumbed to the electrifying kiss they both shared. She pressed her soft and delicate body to him. She could feel his hot body over her clothes. It gave her a feeling of unending rainbows and butterflies. I

She never felt more than willing to be with him. She buried all inhibitions as she tasted his kiss and returned the same magnetic passion. Their tongues clashed and explored each other's mouth.

"Hmm…" a moan escaped her throat. She felt the heat. She drowned in the pleasure he gave her.

When she opened her eyes, she saw Si Weimin staring with eyes full of love, "I love you, Jia."

Tears formed in the corners of her eyes. She never felt more than happy, especially having Si Weimin by her side. She kissed him lightly before she sincerely said, "Thank you for loving me even if at times, I'm hard to love."

"Does the moon ever get tired of coming out at night just because the clouds block its sight? When you don't see it in the morning, does it mean it's not there?"

Xu Jia Li remained quiet as she waited for him to finish his words.

"No, it doesn't. It still comes out at night because the sun still shares its light to it. Even in the morning, you still know that it's there somewhere, waiting to bring light into the night," Si Weimin caressed her face, slowly and gently before he continued,

"Just like the love I have for you, it will never change no matter the adversities that come our way because you will always be the sun that gives light to me. I will be the moon who will be there, watching you. Even if you don't see me, you'll be sure that I'll always be there."

"Trust my love for you, love. I promise that through ups and downs, you have me… always…"

She shrugged off the tears before she nodded her head. Then, without looking away, she continued, "When my mom died, I found out from her diary and old letters who my real father is. He left my mom and married another woman. He tried to pay my mother to abort me. Her promising future as a painter went down the drain when he left her."

She looked at Si Weimin, her lips curled into a bitter smile before she continued, "After everything that they've done to my grandparents, they weren't contented. They even killed my mom."

"Your father killed your grandparents and your mom, too?"

"Yes, they made it look like an accident. And then my mom came home one day…" a seething pain teemed inside Xu Jia Li's heart, "She had so much blood on her body. I didn't know what to do. They killed my mother and now… someone's after me, too."

"Who's your father?" Si Weimin asked through gritted teeth.

"My father is…" she stopped as she looked at Si Weimin. She sighed before she continued, "He's Zhou Jiayin, the chairman of Zhou Corporation."

"Zhou Jiayin?" Si Weimin furrowed his brows upon hearing Xu Jia Li.

Xu Jia Li nodded, "Zhou Bingbing's father. Does it make me her sister now? I despise the fact that his blood runs into mine. I abhor them. I hate them so much," she stopped and eyed Si Weimin, "Do you hate me now? Seeing how wicked and hateful I am?"

"I love you, no matter who you are."

She was touched from the sincerity of his words especially his eyes, "Even if I wanted them to fall down the ditch? Even if I wanted them to suffer? Even if all I wanted is to see them die?"

"You can do what you deem right. Still nothing can change my feelings for you. I'll support you in every endeavor you'll take, Jia."

"I wish my mom didn't die. And then maybe, just maybe, I wouldn't be this vengeful."

"Don't be hard on yourself."

"All I wanted is to avenge mom…"

"Then avenge her… I can be of help. We will make them pay for the pain they caused you… and mom…"

She didn't know why but she felt like a heavy burden was lifted on her shoulder upon hearing Si Weimin. It was even a melody to her ears when he called Yang Yi Fei "mom". She looked at him gratefully, "Thank you for still loving me… even if I'm more unlovable at times."

She pouted when Si Weimin pinched her nose, "Silly! You're never unlovable in my eyes. You're always the filling to my tangyuan. It will never be the same without you."

She stifled a laugh upon hearing him compare her to the black sesame filling of tangyuan or glutinous rice ball, "Only you can compare me to that."

"Because you're perfectly sweet like tangyuan."

They both shared a laughter before Si Weimin asked again, "Do you think Zhou Jiayin send those letters?"

"I don't really know, Weimin-ge. I just know that whoever sent them wanted me to stop digging the past."

"Why?"

"It's because I'm investigating mom's death and what really caused her death."

"Then, I'll help you. Don't act hastily from now on, okay?"

"Okay. From now on, we will be honest to each other. No more secrets. No more lies." She raised her pinky finger towards him, "Let's pinky promise."

She was stunned when Si Weimin grabbed her and kissed her deeply. Then, he curled his pinky finger to hers before he said, "Now, we also sealed it with a kiss. Just in case the pinky promise isn't that powerful."
