Chapter 165 - He Could Not Bear a Life without Han Yue Xiu

Song Yi returned to his new apartment and tightened his grip on his phone. He lifted his hand to throw the phone against the wall, but after a while, he decided against it.

In the end, no matter how much he persuaded Han Yue Xiu, that girl had refused to come back and work for him.

Hearing her rejection, of course, Song Yi was angered.

Back then, didn't she said that she liked working with him? Why did she reject him now?

He had made the best offer he can make. He had even told her that he will restrain himself and not say things like 'liking her' and stuff. Still, she had rejected him.

After a few weeks of disappearing from Han Yue Xiu's life, Song Yi had been traveling around and doing a lot of thinking. Since she did not like him, the Song Yi decided not to care about her. He wanted to move on.

But after a few days, Song Yi found that he could not bear a life without Han Yue Xiu by his side. He returned to his company only to find that he could not do his work properly.

At that moment, he had decided that he did not care if Han Yue Xiu did not share the same feeling as his. As long as Han Yue Xiu could be in a place where he could see for now and then, he would be satisfied.

That's right! What was it that he liked about her? Han Yue Xiu was the messiest and unladylike woman he ever met. She had an obsession with junk food and would often argue with him about everything.

But still... he liked this girl. The smile on her face when she had successfully solved a work problem could light up the whole world.

Song Yi found that he had missed her very much.

It was during this time that he met this new friend who pointed out that what he did to Han Yue Xiu was wrong. This person was his lifesaver and his life coach.

According to that person, to force her to like him back was not considered liking anymore, but an obsession. If he continued to push her, then he was being selfish. In the end, selfish love will only make both parties suffer.

If he really liked her, then he should stop harassing Han Yue Xiu and respect whatever choice she made.

Back then he was too rushed. He thought that Han Yue Xiu did all those tricks to grab his attention. He had thought that she liked him. That was why he had kissed her.

Apparently, that was not the case.

Han Yue Xiu did not like him that way. Unfortunately, Song Yi had fallen too much for her.

If he wanted to pursue Han Yue Xiu, he needed to do it slowly, patiently. Even if she did not like him, he should be happy as long as she's happy.

So this time, Song Yi returned to S Country to try and win Han Yue Xiu back. He was determined to start everything from scratch. First, he needed to get rid of whatever that was making Han Yue Xiu displeased about him.

That was why he had returned to his parents' house and warned that he did not want anything to do with Fang Meng Ran, causing his parents anger.

Anyway, since that woman that his parents liked had the potential to ruin his path of romance, Song Yi decided to deal with it first. Fortunately, his grandparents were supportive of his wishes.

For the elders, as long as Song Yi would someday meet a nice girl, start his own family, and have his own offspring, they did not care much. Moreover, the Song family was not a family that requires marriage for benefit.

Once he had done whatever necessary, Song Yi then went back to S Country to look for Han Yue Xiu. Of course, at this time, he was still in contact with this new friend.

At first, Song Yi did not want to appear in front of Han Yue Xiu so soon. However, it was fated that he would meet Han Yue Xiu's mother in the elevator. Mother Han was carrying too much stuff in her hand and Song Yi only helped her.

It was after then that Song Yi realized that this woman he helped was Han Yue Xiu's mother. After all, they were neighbors. The last time he had come over to Country S, Song Yi had bought over the apartment next door and this week was actually the first time that he had stayed in the house.

And because of this, Song Yi had the chance to run into Han Yue Xiu.

Unfortunately, this girl had thought that he had deliberately come to see her mother and planned something.

Song Yi took a couple of deep breaths to calm down. Once his thought was cleared, Song Yi dialed a number. The phone was soon connected and Song Yi immediately told the person of his encounter with Han Yue Xiu.

"I've done the things that you told me," Song Yi said.

"Well, Song Yi, you've done a good job holding in," that person's voice was slightly hoarse.

"Yi Chen, what am I supposed to do? Han Yue Xiu, she said that she did not want to come over and work with me. What if she continues to reject me? How am I supposed to be content by staying on her side when she won't even allow me to see her?"

"What did I tell you previously?" Fu Yi Chen spoke again. "Things won't happen just because you wish for it to happen. Song Yi, if you wish to win a woman's heart, you have to be patient. Just slowly appear every now and then. Be there when she needed a friend. But don't agitate her with your words and action. Sooner or later, she will be moved. Unless of course, if the two of you were not meant to be together."

"No. Han Yue Xiu and I are certainly meant to be together," Song Yi was quick to say.

Fu Yi Chen laughed at the other line. "Remember, it's fine if you want to continue to like this girl. But Song Yi, you cannot be obsessed."

"I understand." Song Yi's lips curved into a faint smile at his friend's words.

"Didn't she already said that she had accepted your apology?" Fu Yi Chen said. "Then it's a good start. Her heart will slowly soften after this. Come back and wait until she returns."

Song Yi paused for a few seconds before he agreed. He listened to Fu Yi Chen's words and was determined to follow the man's advice.

Previously, didn't Han Yue Xiu tricked him into making him relying on her? This time, why can't he do the same? Perhaps by then, Han Yue Xiu will see that he would be good for her.

First, he needed to return to the country and make some preparation.
