Chapter 220 - Almost Noon

Li Qin Yao roused from her sleep when she felt a hot, tender ċȧrėss on her ċhėst. She had wanted to ignore that person and continue to sleep and hoped that he would stop pestering her after she ignored him. But after a few minutes have passed, the touching did not stop and she was getting annoyed.

She really wanted to sleep a while longer…

After all, she was exhausted after what had transpired last night. They have tossed and turned on the sheet until she could no longer have the energy to do anything else. 

Once she sensed that Zhang Yu Han had no intention to stop teasing her, Li Qin Yao grabbed his misbehaving hands and held it tightly to stop it from moving around.

"You're awake?"

His voice was deep and husky against her ears.

Li Qin Yao felt his arms tightened on her stomach as he drew her body closer to him. She felt her back against his ċhėst and took a deep breath. "Zhang Yu Han, let me sleep a bit more. I'm really tired."

Zhang Yu Han let out a chuckle at her slightly coquettish voice before he leaned over to kiss her on the cheek. "Alright. I won't disturb you anymore. Sleep."

Hearing his voice, Li Qin Yao closed her eyes again to sleep but found that she was unable to fall asleep no matter how hard she tried. In the end, Li Qin Yao turned around and lifted her head to look at the man beside her.

"Can't sleep?"

Li Qin Yao bit her lips and stared at him angrily. 

"Sorry," he stared at her expression in a daze. He never knew that her anger expression would be this adorable. Pulling her head closer to his ċhėst, Zhang Yu Han said, "It was my fault." He then patted her hair gently as if to coax her back to sleep.

Li Qin Yao snuggled closer to his ċhėst, but the slight movement ignited a wave of pain all over her body, causing her to wince. 

Her thought went back to what happened last night and suddenly, her expression turned bashful. 

It was her first time but she could not believe that she was able to act so daringly. Just the thought of last night would make her blush.

The first time he had entered her, Li Qin Yao felt as if she was ripped apart. Her body felt hot all over and it felt as if she would burn from the heat. The pain was enough to make her shed her tears. Then, he had moved slowly and appeased her, causing her body to tremble. His movement and touch were careful and tender.

Her face grew crimson red at the thought of the way he had looked at her last night. He had stared straight into her eyes as if he wanted to savor her every expression. That gaze was full of love and Li Qin Yao found herself unable to look away.

"Does this felt better?"

She only replied to him with a slow nod before she closed her eyes and sighed at his comfortable massage.

"What do you want to eat for lunch?"

Li Qin Yao felt that his words were somewhat strange. She lifted her head to look at him with confusion written on her face. "Lunch? Not breakfast?"

His lips curled into a smile. "It's almost noon."

Li Qin Yao suddenly jolted from the bed. She turned to look at the window and saw a streak of light entering the room, however, everything around the room was still dark. Li Qin Yao looked at the blind curtains and slowly muttered a curse.

What's wrong?" Zhang Yu Han frowned as he watched her stood up suddenly.

She turned around to look at him but was unable to speak what was on her mind. 

Last night, she had promised herself to wake up earlier and check out sooner. After all, this was a Zhang's hotel and it was Zhang Yu Ying who had prepared the room. It would not be hard for Zhang Yu Ying to figure out that the two of them had stayed until noon.

She was embarrassed!

Li Qin Yao continued to look at her husband and saw that his expression had changed. His jaw clenched and his eyes grew darker.

It was then that she realized that something was not right - she had stood up abruptly that she did not realize how she was not wearing anything under that blanket earlier!

Her face grew hot as she rushed to pull the blanket to cover her body.

Before she could utter a word, Zhang Yu Han had already pulled her softly into his embrace, causing her to stiffen.

"Don't move," his voice was hoarse. Zhang Yu Han rested his chin on top of her head and continued, "Stay with me a while longer."

Afraid that she might provoke something that should not be provoked, Li Qin Yao stayed silently in his embrace and not daring to make any move.

Only after a few minutes has passed did she dared to look at his face again. "Zhang Yu Han, I'm hungry. Let's get something to eat, alright?"

He did not answer her right away. Zhang Yu Han bent his head to bury his nose in her hair and inhaled. When he was able to suppress his dėsɨrė, Zhang Yu Han loosened his arms around her body and planted a kiss on her forehead. 

"What do you want to eat? I'll call the room service."

Li Qin Yao blurted a few dishes and watched him pick up the phone beside the table to order. Taking the chance, Li Qin Yao then slipped out of bed and rushed into the bathroom. 

Zhang Yu Han could only let out a chuckle as he watched her scurried away.

The room service had served their lunch the moment Zhang Yu Han stepped out of the bathroom. But instead of showing his interest at the food served, Zhang Yu Han's eyes instinctively found Li Qin Yao's silhouette first. A small smile graced his lips as he watched her staring at the food hungrily.

However, instead of starting to eat, she was waiting for him to come out so that they could have a meal together.

Walking towards her, Zhang Yu Han then planted a kiss on her forehead before the two of them sat down to have a meal and replenished their energy.

"This weekend, let's head over to Capital City together," Zhang Yu Han said as he picked up a few vegetable dishes and placed it on her bowl. 

Li Qin Yao lifted her gaze and looked at him with puzzled.

"Let's pay a visit to your grandparents and announced our marriage," Zhang Yu Han continued.
