Chapter 342 - His Intention was Too Obvious!

Wei Jun Hao showed up later in the evening. He walked into the house, with a mix of anxiety and happiness in his face. Wei Jun Hao greeted the elders and spoke some auspicious words before he glanced at Zhang Yu Ying with a smile.

Because Wei Jun Hao has been friends with Zhang Yu Han for a long time, the elders were familiar with him and therefore they were able to converse well.

It was then that Li Qin Yao noticed that Wei Jun Hao had brought some gifts for the elders. Looking at the bags, she could tell that they were mostly health supplement products.

Li Qin Yao was speechless. Wei Jun Hao's attitude at this time was as if he was coming to meet his future in-laws.

Although this was not wrong, can he tone down his action a little bit? His intention was too obvious!

Li Qin Yao glanced at Zhang Yu Han and wondered if he knew Wei Jun Hao's intentions for coming over.

Her gaze then shifted to Zhang Yu Ying who has been hiding behind her for a while.

Previously, Zhang Yu Ying would always stick closely to Wei Jun Hao, but at this time, she was keeping her distance. Her face flustered slightly and Li Qin Yao found that her expression at this moment was rather cute.

Suddenly, Li Qin Yao was worried about her sister-in-law.

Li Qin Yao had heard of Wei Jun Hao's reputation as a lawyer and knew that he can be shrewd. Zhang Yu Ying was a carefree girl and a little bit silly sometimes. Will the two be alright if they got together?

As Wei Jun Hao continued to chat with Zhang Xi and Liu Hui Lan, Zhang Yu Ying then pulled her aside and whispered, "Sister-in-law, what if Wei Jun Hao lost the match against my brother?"

Li Qin Yao stared at the girl and smiled. "So you want him to win?"

Zhang Yu Ying lowered her gaze and her cheek turned red a little bit. "Sister-in-law, don't talk nonsense."

After a while, both Zhang Xi and Liu Hui Lan left the room to let the young continue their conversation.

Zhang Yu Han spent his time chatting with his friend and at this time, Wei Jun Hao suddenly proposed to have a match with Zhang Yu Han.

Hearing his invitation, Zhang Yu Han raised a brow and stared at his friend suspiciously. "Why do you suddenly ask me to play?"

The smile on Wei Jun Hao's face froze, but he quickly recovered. "What's wrong with me asking you to play for a few rounds? Is there any problem?"

"Of course there is." The corned of Zhang Yu Han's lips moved into a sneer. "Wei Jun Hao, you would often complain whenever I ask you to gather everyone around to play a few rounds. Since you have suddenly asked me to play… I was wondering if you are up to something."

Wei Jun Hao coughed. "You're thinking too much."

"What is it?" Zhang Yu Han raised a brow. "Did your aunt invited a girl to her place and forced you to go to another blind date? Is that the reason why you're here? To escape?"

Zhang Yu Ying scoffed as she heard her brother mentioning a girl waiting for Wei Jun Hao at his aunt's place. She turned her head away and spoke, "I hope my brother will beat him later."

Li Qin Yao who stood beside her sister-in-law could only look at her speechlessly.

In the end, did she want Wei Jun Hao to win or not?

Wei Jun Hao held back the curse on the tip of his tongue as he glanced at Zhang Yu Ying. Seeing the annoyed look on her face, Wei Jun Hao had the urge to beat his friend. Previously, he had been a good wingman to Zhang Yu Han when he was still wooing his wife. Now that he got rid of his single status, he dared to push him off the cliff.

Suddenly, Wei Jun Hao was worried about what would happen if Zhang Yu Ying changed her mind. "Stop talking about those blind dates. Do you want to play or not?"

Zhang Yu Han shrugged. He stood up and spoke, "Alright, since I am in a good mood, I will entertain you. Come over to the backyard."

Soon, the four of them gathered in the backyard.

While Zhang Yu Ying helped to find the ball in the garden shed, Wei Jun Hao walked over to Li Qin Yao with an expression full of expectation.

"Sister-in-law," Wei Jun Hao called shamelessly.

Li Qin Yao felt the corner of her mouth started to twitch. "Addressing me as your sister-in-law when the game hasn't started yet. Wei Jun Hao, are you that confident that you're going to win?"

The smile on his face widened. "With your help, of course, I'm going to win."

"How are you sure that I am going to help you?" Li Qin Yao raised her brow provokingly. "Perhaps I changed my mind? I am Zhang Yu Han's wife. I should be on his side."

"Sister-in-law, don't be like this. Look at me. I have been chasing after Yu Ying for years and this was the only time that she agreed to date me. Don't you pity me? I am already at this age and I still haven't got a girlfriend."

"I heard that your aunt frequently introduced you to a girl."

"Right," Wei Jun Hao smiled happily. "Isn't it because of me that you met your husband? Do you see it? I did help you and Yu Han to be together. Sister-in-law, please. Help me."

"What are you two whispering about?" At this time, Zhang Yu Han came out of the house and headed over to both of them.

Wei Jun Hao was startled upon his sudden appearance and there was slight guilt on his expression. "We were just chatting casually." He let out a cough. "I was asking if your wife is interested to join and play basketball."

Zhang Yu Han's gaze turned cold as he looked at his friend. "Don't be ridiculous. My wife is pregnant. She cannot run around the court."

Hearing his words, Wei Jun Hao looked at the couple back and forth with his mouth forming into a big 'O'.

A curse escaped his lips. His friend was about to be upgraded to a father?

It was then that Wei Jun Hao recalled that Li Qin Yao had warned him that Zhang Yu Han will kill him if he asked her to play basketball.

His expression changed again when he realized that Li Qin Yao could not help in this match.

"Well, since I have previously agreed to lend a hand, I will do something to help you," Li Qin Yao whispered as Zhang Yu Han walked over to the center of the court.

Wei Jun Hao looked at her with his eyes wide. "How are you going to help me?"

A mischievous smile curled on her lips. "You say... I only need to distract him, right?" She watched him nodded and continued. "Don't worry. I have my way."
