Chapter 344 - You Cannot Change Your Mind

The men looked at each other and tensed.

Zhang Yu Han did not know why Wei Jun Hao was too determined to win the game. Although a part of him wanted to let him win for once, Zhang Yu Han had a feeling that he should not be lenient to him.

He couldn't let Wei Jun Hao win easily!

"Sister-in-law," Zhang Yu Ying called. "What do you think? Will Brother Jun Hao win?"

If her brother won, then will Wei Jun Hao returned to his aunt's place and meet up with the girl that his aunt had wanted to introduce him to?

At this time, Zhang Yu Ying was silently regretting that she had made this condition.

Sensing Zhang Yu Ying's worry, Li Qin Yao patted at her hand softly. "Alright. Don't stress. The game hasn't ended yet. We did not know who will win for sure. At this time, there are so many things that can happen."

Zhang Yu Ying took a deep breath and felt more at ease upon hearing her words. She turned to look at Wei Jun Hao who was trying to break through her brother's defense and frowned.

Suddenly, Zhang Yu Ying made her decision that even if Wei Jun Hao lost this match to her brother, she was not going to be disappointed. If he lost this time, she can always come to him and ask him to date her instead, right?

Li Qin Yao clenched her hand into a fist as she felt the tension of the match.

Looking at Wei Jun Hao's determination and Zhang Yu Ying's anxiety, Li Qin Yao did not want to disappoint those two.

A frown appeared on her face as she tried to think of something to distract Zhang Yu Han any further. Previously, she had used the excuse that their child was kicking and learned that it was not a wise move. The worried expression on Zhang Yu Han's face was just too much.

At this time, Li Qin Yao began to pray for a miracle.

Suddenly, at the distance away, Li Qin Yao saw a greyish kitten strolling around the garden and her face brightened up.

Zhang Yu Han was trying to break through Wei Jun Hao's defense when he suddenly heard his wife's soft voice, meowing as if calling a cat . Suddenly, the ball in his hand slipped. Zhang Yu Han turned to look at his wife and saw that she was petting a kitten that came from nowhere.

Wei Jun Hao took his chance to grab the ball and shot the ball from his position. It was a three-pointer shot and it had entered the hoop!

It was Zhang Yu Ying's hand-clapping that brought everyone back to the game and they realized that Wei Jun Hao had won.

Sensing a gaze on her, Li Qin Yao turned around and saw that Zhang Yu Han was staring at her."Hubby! There's a kitten. Isn't he cute?" Li Qin Yao rubbed her hands on the kitten's head and the small thing meowed cutely.

"Don't touch the cat. It's dirty." Zhang Yu Han said. "Remember that you are a pregnant woman."

"Oh." Li Qin Yao stood up quickly. She looked at the kitten with a pout and waved her hand. "Kitty, bye-bye. My hubby does not let me touch you."

The gray cat replied to her with a meow before he rubbed his head on Li Qin Yao's legs. Looking at the kitten's adorable appearance, Li Qin Yao turned to look at her husband again.

Zhang Yu Han let out a helpless sigh. "If you want to play with the kitten, he will need to take a bath first." 

Meanwhile, Wei Jun Hao, who had tasted his first victory against Zhang Yu Han was staring at the hoop with disbelief. He had won a one-on-one match against Zhang Yu Han and it felt surreal.

A realization came to his mind and Wei Jun Hao turned around to look for Zhang Yu Ying. Their gaze met and they both stared at each other for a long time.

Zhang Yu Ying was the first one who looked away. Facing Wei Jun Hao's intense gaze, she was suddenly shy. 

"Zhang Yu Ying, you cannot change your mind," Wei Jun Hao spoke as he walked over to her side and smiled. "You promised. So, you cannot change your mind."

"I-I." Suddenly, Zhang Yu Ying stuttered. Taking a deep breath to calm down, Zhang Yu Ying then stood up straight. "Who said anything about changing my mind? I'm a person of my words."

His smile widened upon hearing her words. Just as he was about to pull her into his embrace and celebrate, Zhang Yu Han had appeared by their side with a slight frown on his face.

"What are you talking about?" Zhang Yu Han looked at the two of them back and forth. In the end, his gaze stopped at his sister. "What promise?"

Wei Jun Hao turned to Zhang Yu Han and frowned when he saw a gray kitten nestled in his arms. "Since I have won this match, your sister had promised to date me."

Zhang Yu Han glanced at his sister and suddenly understood why the three of them had been acting strangely from the very beginning—Wei Jun Hao's determination to win this match, his sister anxiety every time he scored and his wife attempts to distract him in the game.

"If my sister had agreed to date you, then, I won't say anything about it," Zhang Yu Han said. "This is the matter between the two of you. But of course, if I ever found out that you were bullying my sister, Wei Jun Hao, you're dead."

Wei Jun Hao began to shiver at his friend's threat. He knew that Zhang Yu Han was a part of Qi's family and had learned a thing or two from his Granduncle. He did not want to die under Zhang Yu Han or the Qi family's hand.

"Of course not," Wei Jun Hao said. "I have waited for this moment for years. Why would I bully your sister?"

Zhang Yu Han looked at the two of them back and forth before he pulled his wife back to the house with the gray kitten in his arms.

As soon as the two disappeared into the house, Wei Jun Hao held Zhang Yu Ying's hand and spoke, "Yu Ying, come with me and meet with my aunt."

"Why do I have to come with you and meet your aunt?" She tried to wriggle her hand away from his and failed.

"Of course it's to announce to my aunt that I now have a girlfriend," Wei Jun Hao said. "Yu Ying, don't tell me that you want to see your boyfriend forced to attend some blind dates?"

Zhang Yu Han crossed his hand across his ċhėst as he stared at his wife. He had handed the kitten to Auntie Wu and asked her to find someone to help bath the kitten. Then, he took his wife to wash her hand and change their clothes.

"Why do I feel like you have been helping Wei Jun Hao today?" Zhang Yu Han asked. 

Li Qin Yao tugged at the front of his shirt and told him how Wei Jun Hao had come over to meet her. 

"I was reminded of how you had to search for me for ten years and thought of how we have wasted ten years," Li Qin Yao said. "When I heard that Wei Jun Hao had been pursuing Yu Ying for years, I wanted to help him. Anyway, it seemed that Yu Ying liked him too."

Zhang Yu Han raised a brow. "How do you know?"

"It was Yu Ying who told me this. But you don't say a word to anyone about this or else, your sister will be embarrassed." Li Qin Yao smiled. "Zhang Yu Han, are you against their relationship?"

"Of course not." Zhang Yu Han finally eased up and stretched his hands to pinch at both of her cheeks. "Didn't I tell you previously? I won't meddle in their relationship unless it was necessary."
