Chapter 355 - Hubby, Did You Feel That?

Xiao Lian Yi escaped as quickly as she had appeared before Li Qin Yao was able to ask her more about this mysterious guest.

With no other choice, Li Qin Yao supported her weight with the table and stood up. When she walked out of the room, she found that the office was empty. Li Qin Yao glanced at the clock and saw that it was not lunch hour yet.

But… where did everyone disappear to?

Finding the situation a bit strange, she then walked over to the direction where Xiao Lian Yi had disappeared to. Her eyes widened as she reached the lounge.

In front of her, Zhang Yu Han stood with a bouquet of Casablanca lilies. Everyone else stood at the side and there was a cake at the center. Li Qin Yao connected the puzzle and quickly figured out that her husband made a plan with everyone and had prepared everything for her birthday.

As soon as she had appeared, everyone else started to sing a birthday song. Once the song ended, Zhang Yu Han walked over with the bouquet in his hand. He bent to kiss his wife on her lips and everyone started to cheer. 

"Happy birthday," Zhang Yu Han handed the bouquet to her. "I seem to remember that you like this flower."

"Un," Li Qin Yao nodded. "Thank you. When did you plan this?"

"A week ago. Everyone agreed to join in and we planned this together."

Li Qin Yao shifted her gaze to her staff who were motioning her to come over and blow the candles.

"You can only eat one slice," Zhang Yu Han reminded her. 

Li Qin Yao passed the bouquet to Xiao Lian Yi and cut the cake. After passing a slice of cakes to everyone, Li Qin Yao took a slightly bigger slice and walked over to her husband. Seeing the way he was looking at her, Li Qin Yao gave an innocent smile to him. "You said one slice."

He let out a chuckle and pinched at her cheek. He watched as she cut the cake with a fork and just before his wife could take a bite, Zhang Yu Han had stolen the cake from her.

Li Qin Yao stared back at him in disbelief. 

He then took the fork from her and cut a small bite-size before he fed his wife. "Don't eat too much. I'm here to take you out on a lunch date. What if you're too full to eat later?"

Her movement paused before she turned to look at Zhang Yu Han with sparkling eyes.

Zhang Yu Han bopped at her nose and whispered, "Since we are going to have dinner with grandfather and Yu Ying later, I can only kidnap my wife at this time to spent alone time together."

Li Qin Yao laughed. She quickly ate the cake while feeding her husband a large portion and went over to her office to pack up. Since everyone else seem to know that Zhang Yu Han was planning to take her on a date, Li Qin Yao did not have to make too much arrangement before she left.

"Where are we going?" Li Qin Yao asked as her husband slid into the driver's seat. 

Zhang Yu Han replied to her with a smile and shifted the gear to drive. "Since I'm kidnapping you, of course, I cannot tell you where we are going."

Li Qin Yao frowned but did not say anything. She looked out of the window and noticed that they were back in Y City. Seeing the familiar scenery outside the window, Li Qin Yao then turned to look at him again with an inquiring gaze.

The car stopped once they reached the destination. Li Qin Yao stared at the two-story mansion in front of her and turned to look at her smiling husband. "The renovation is completed?"

"Hmm," Zhang Yu Han slid off the car and helped his wife to get off. Since she was pregnant, he was worried that his wife might not step on the ground properly and fall.

The couple held hands as they entered the house. Once they're inside, Auntie Su appeared from the kitchen and greeted the couple. 

Li Qin Yao looked at the elderly woman in surprise. "Auntie Su, you're here."

"Yes," Auntie Su nodded. "Mr. Zhang invited me to come over and cook. Mrs. Zhang, happy birthday."

"Thank you."

"Would you like to eat now? The dishes are almost done," Auntie Su said.

"Let's have something to eat first," Zhang Yu Han said. "Then, I'll take you to walk around the house, alright?"

Li Qin Yao nodded obediently. Then the two of them sat at the dining area and ate happily while chatting and playing around. Once they had finished their meal, Zhang Yu Han then took her on a tour and explained to her about the changes they made. They soon arrived at the baby's room and Li Qin Yao let out a gasp. The wall was painted in soft gray and one side of the wall was pasted with a cute animal print wallpaper.

"This way, we can always match the furniture whether we will be having a boy or a girl," Zhang Yu Han said. He turned to his wife and raised a brow. "Do you like it?"

Li Qin Yao walked over to take a good look at the wallpaper and nodded. "Un. I like it."

Zhang Yu Han walked over to his wife and gave her a back hug. He rested his chin on her shoulder and spoke, "Later, let's go and shop for the staff we need, alright?"

Hearing that she can start to buy stuff for their baby, Li Qin Yao was excited.

Zhang Yu Han shifted his hand on her stomach and rested his palm on it. 

"Baby, how is it? Do you like your room?" Li Qin Yao asked.

Just as the question escaped her lips, Li Qin Yao felt a light tap coming from the inside of her stomach. 

"Hubby, did you feel that?"

Zhang Yu Han shifted his gaze to her stomach and slowly nodded.

"The baby moved." Li Qin Yao ċȧrėssed her stomach and spoke, "Baby, try to move again!"

However, at this time, the baby refused to listen to the mother and stay still.

"Is this the first time something like this happened?"

"Un," Li Qin Yao nodded.

"Is it uncomfortable? Should I call Doctor Qiao and check with her?"

Before her husband could take out his phone, Li Qin Yao had already stopped him. "No need. Isn't this is normal? Doctor Qiao did mention that we might feel the baby movement at this stage." Seeing the worry on his face, Li Qin Yao laughed before she tiptoed to kiss his jaw. "It's fine. Stop worrying so much, alright?"
