Noah was very curious about this battle and what would come out of it. The difference in strength between a blessed Rank B and a Rank C was several times greater, and as the invasion captain had said that the blessed Rank Bs could have a strength equivalent to 100 - 1,000 points in Noah's system, Noah was curious to see how strong the captain is.
Without this number system Noah had, it was difficult to measure someone's strength, so as curious as Noah was, he didn't know if this data was really right.
And it didn't take long for Noah to get the answer to the question he wanted. Quickly an overwhelming aura began to leak from the bottom of the cave, it was as if death itself was still there.
Noah even had trouble breathing as he felt his chest being squeezed by a giant hand as if he were nothing more than a simple toy in front of that creature.
But looking at the invasion captain, apparently that was nothing to him. It was as if the man was just feeling a cool autumn breeze on his face.
'Is this the difference between a blessed Rank C and a Rank B?' Noah asked himself mentally.
But then another, even more frightening question popped into his mind.
'If that's the pressure of a blessed B Rank, what would Bel's pressure be...?' Noah was shocked. Bel's strength was much greater than blessed Rank B, while Rank B was much weaker than Rank A, Bel saw the blessed Rank A as ants...
Putting that thought aside, Noah saw the monster that was emerging from the back of the cave.
The monster was a complete abomination. His skin was a reddish-gray, as if he were very red, but with time it faded until it lost its color and stayed in that shade of gray.
Above the neck there was not just one head, but fifteen heads. And the monster's arms were like he had fused 15 arms on each side to form an arm as thick as an ancient tree.
The whole thing was very ugly, but the aura it gave off declared that it was very strong.
Looking at that ogre, Noah had a slight feeling that he had already seen it somewhere.
But unlike blessed amateurs, the invasion captain didn't watch the monster's entrance. When the monster became visible, a large ice knight began to form in front of the captain, while several ice spears formed around him and flew towards the mutated ogre.
But just as the trolls previously were acting, the ogre also showed no reaction and continued walking as if he didn't feel the pain when a spear cut some part of him.
As his skin was very thick, or rather literally had many layers, these spears did nothing more than scratch the monster.
Noah didn't just stare either. With a mental command, Noah ordered the two trolls to run to the ogre to give the captain time to finish building the Ice Knight he was making.
Hearing Noah's command, the two trolls began to scream and ran like mad at the ogre, swinging the two large wooden sticks they carried.
But when the sticks hit the ogre, it crumbled as if they were made of Styrofoam.
And this time the ogre reacted, in a split second he reached out and smashed the head of one of the trolls like it was a rubber balloon.
Noah was shocked to see this. The monster had popped the troll's head like a balloon. Noah had a hard time slitting the necks of these monsters using the Rank B sword he'd managed to get, but using his own hands as the ogre had done, it would be impossible for Noah to do something like that.
'This difference is greater than I imagined. Just for this attack you can imagine that the Strength of this monster has more than 400 points!' Noah was shocked.
In another split second, the ogre reached out with its other arm and blew the other troll's head off, sending the two large corpses crashing to the ground like two rag dolls.
But the amount of time Noah got was enough for the captain to finish his Ice Knight before the ogre got to him.
With a simple gesture pointing to the ogre, the ice knight understood the captain's command and ran there while carrying a large spear of transparent ice.
Noah didn't know the captain was a mage, much less an ice mage, which made Noah wonder if his [Hell Flames] were at least comparable to the captain's ice, which he doubted, after getting one. little disappointed in the power of these flames today for the first time.
When the captain's ice knight reached the ogre, the knight's spear cut off one of the monster's thick arms, while the ogre stretched the other arm towards the knight and tried to grab his head just like he did the trolls, but the knight it was much more agile, from what Noah noted, the rider's agility was somewhere around 200 points, which for a rider who often focused on strength was a scary number.
With that agility, the knight turned his head away from the ogre's attack, but the ogre still managed to grab the knight's left arm and tear it off just as easily as the knight cut off his arm.
Now the two had only one arm left, but while the ogre needed no weapons, the knight could no longer wield the spear he was using, forcing the knight to retreat.
The captain quickly began to summon a one-handed sword to the knight, but the ogre began to pursue the summons like a rat chases a rat.
The agility of the two was apparently similar, however, only because the ogre was too clumsy and couldn't run very well, having probably been mutated. While the knight ran at the maximum speed he could so as not to die to the ogre.
Finally the sword was finished and the knight took it, decisively cutting off the monster's other arm, leaving only the torso, two legs and 15 heads left.
Noah was shocked, each attack from these monsters was far more powerful than he could imagine dealing. The two times the Ice Knight cut off the ogre's arms, Noah wasn't even able to see the attack.
But before the captain could heave a sigh at dealing with the ogre, a familiar figure appeared at the back of the cave.
Looking at the figure, the captain recognized the dragon armor the figure was wearing. That was the armor Noah had gotten from the keep.
"Noah, why did you come back? It's still dangerous, get out!" The captain yelled angrily.
But when he noticed that the dragon armor was badly destroyed he was worried. "Shit, where are the others? What happened?!" He yelled again.
But 'Noah' didn't respond. He just ran at high speed towards the captain while unsheathing a sword.
Seeing the speed of 'Noah', the captain realized the mistake he had made. This wasn't Noah, this speed was something only the blessed B Rank could wield, this was a monster like the one Noah had killed to get the armor!
