34 CHAPTER 34 : Here~ Take my hand

Li Xi Rui felt awkward with all these guests in her garden. Looking at Rui Sheng, she wanted to ask, did he already knew this was going to happen? Is that why he come? To join in all the 'fun'?

"Isn't it better that way?", Long Jie glanced at that frowning face.

Bringing his head closer, he whispered, "I will be seen coming and going, and you will too. If they thought we're in relationship, isn't it better to not alerted the enemies?". He laid his traps.

Li Xi Rui thought about what he said. There's something wrong but she couldn't exactly pinpoint where. She asked, "Couldn't we just communicate secretly?"

"Well we could. But, these enemies are not normal people. It would make them more suspicious if we're to secretly met", Long Jie is relentless.

"If you say so, we could pretend to act that way", she reluctantly said. She with a heavy heart, accepted Long Jie's explanation. Of course she didn't see the smile on his face.

"Good! Then, this is the first confirmation of our relationship", Long Jie moved his head closer to Li Xi Rui. He then peck her ear!. "Your friend is looking! It would be better if no one doubt us so it seems more believable", he moved his head away. He could see the fine hairs on her white neck stood up.

Li Xi Rui is shocked! Isn't this too much? She whispered, "Isn't just holding my hand is enough? Why did you suddenly kiss me?". She would never get out from this rumor safely.

"If you want me to hold your hand, fine. Here...", Long Jie reached for her hand and intertwined their fingers. Li Xi Rui could only stare at their interlocked fingers as they remain seated in the garden.

Overlooking all these is Lu Xin Yin, Xiao Xi and the little princess. When Long Jie kissed Li Xi Rui, she squeal! 'They're already moving on towards that direction!', she thought. And when she saw they're holding each other's hand, she thought, they really complimented each other.
