40 CHAPTER 40 : A Maid's troubled hear

"Miss, today I practiced making the fried...chi..c...k.... mnnnnnhhggg??!", Xiao Xi, had just wanted to step in the eldest miss' quarters before a hand clamped shut her mouth.

Looking up at the perpetrator, she is puzzled. 'Miss Bai?', she thought.

Looking to the direction pointed by Bai Qi Qi from the side of the door, Xiao Xi gasps. "What is second prince doing? Shouldn't we stop them before they're going further?", Xiao Xi could only asked in a low voice.

"For what? Your miss didn't even mind, then why should you? Xiao Xi, did you want your miss to be a spinster?", Bai Qi Qi threatened.

"No... of course not", she just want her miss to be happy. She is now watching the second prince sniffing her miss' neck. She gulped. Watching the scene seems so wrong.

After the Bai siblings left her, she peeks at the couple seated on the garden's chairs. She saw a lovely scene. Her miss had fallen asleep on the second prince's chest. The second prince is embracing the miss while smiling towards the sleeping face.Then... what she saw almost made her shrieked.
