F*ck, these b*stards were just laughing at Frost Blade so the one up next would be another small card.
It was normal to expect players from an unorganised group like Quan Zhen Sect to refuse to battle for the mere reason of not wanting to seem like a small card.
After seeing the players from Quan Zhen Sect having issues again, Evil Rampage got worried and said, "F*ck, you guys can't do this. The few professionals are waiting on stage. You guys don't want to die with me, right?"
"Uh…" They definitely did not fancy getting beaten up by professionals and pointed to Fearless after pausing, "Fearless will go!"
These guys were surprisingly good at sabotaging Fearless and only they would think of making a Priest fight in 1V1 battle.
Fearless was not surprised at all as if he had expected it.
Evil Rampage looked at Fearless hopelessly and said, "Okay, it's you then. It's okay to lose this round, I guess, because we have already won two rounds."
"What a joke! Why would I lose?" Fearless stepped onto the arena with a smirk.
When he stepped on the arena, the audiences were shocked again, "What the f*ck, the third one up is a Priest? What are these guys thinking?"
Compared to the Archer, an attacking job, the Priest was only a supporting job. To get a Priest up on the arena meant losing immediately. Maybe these guys were bribed to lose this round?
The battle started when everyone was still in confusion.
Fearless's opponent was someone called Shadow Destruct, another Assassin…
City of Shadows was known for being home to many Assassins and it was proven right by the great number of Assassins in a single team.
After the lesson learnt from the last match for underestimating their opponent, Shadow Destruct did not look down on Fearless even if he was a Priest.
After the countdown, Shadow Destruct used [Stealth] immediately but Fearless was even faster than him. Fearless took out his staff and left a Holy Mark on Shadow Destruct's head.
The Holy Mark was a level 45 skill for the Priests. If used before the opponent becomes invisible, it could be used to mark the opponent's location.
Even though it was not a skill to counter the [Stealth], it was the best skill to use against an Assassin now.
After being marked, Shadow Destruct had an extra mark on him which exposed his location to Fearless.
Hence, he cancelled his [Stealth] and dashed towards Fearless just like that.
Fearless calmly gave himself an Invulnerability and ran backwards.
As Fearless exposed his back, Shadow Destruct was secretly happy and activated [Haste].
When Shadow Destruct almost caught up to Fearless, Fearless leaped upwards and floated up above Shadow Destruct's head.
The Assassin had a huge advantage in being secretive but had a very obvious weakness, which was short hands.
Shadow Destruct was shocked when he saw Fearless flew up and wanted to move back to get out of Fearless's attacking range.
Because there was a limited time for [Flight], Shadow Destruct wanted to wait for Fearless skills to CD.
However, Fearless did not give Shadow Destruct a chance to do so. Instead, he used an awakening skill of Priests, [Martyrdom].
[Martyrdom] was a snap aggro skill. It could make all the targets within 500m attack themselves within five seconds.
Priests in <<REBIRTH>> was a great form of existence and could be summarised into one word, death.
Although this skill did not sound good, it could cause huge damage when combined with Holy Light Shield's unlimited time.
Five seconds sounded really short but Fearless could keep Quan Zhen Sect safe even when they were faced with millions of soldiers attacking.
Shadow Destruct was right underneath Fearless and definitely within the 500m range. Before Shadow Destruct could retreat, he flew up and stabbed Fearless in the stomach.
Fearless flew out of the arena.
The Martyrdom timing was up and Shadow Destruct dropped out of the arena.

"That works too?"
The audiences there were in awe and confused as to why was it so difficult to watch a normal tournament.
Below the arena, Shadow Destruct's eyes were blank and it seemed that he hadn't been able to respond to the situation, and looked like he was asking, "Who am I? Where am I? What are you doing?"
Looking at the confused Shadow Destruct, the audience felt sorry for him for losing in this way.
Of course, there were exceptions. One good example was Wang Yu's father who turned to the old people beside him and said, "Look, that's the team that we are sponsoring. They are good, right?"
Even though the Quan Zhen Sect emerged victorious for three rounds through lowly techniques, it earned Wang Yu's father a sense of pride.
The martial art professionals wiped their sweat and agreed, "Not bad, Old Wang you did not find the wrong people!"
Fearless went back to the team only to hear Spring Halo say, "Fearless is treacherous and cunning as usual. Pay up, Little Chicky."
"F*ck, why didn't you die?!" Vainglory looked at Spring Halo angrily and took out a bag of money and gave it to the rest.
"Lost money again?" Fearless caressed Vainglory's head and continued, "How many times have I told you to not play with them? Let me spoil you."
"F*ck off!" Vainglory pushed Fearless's hands away and said, "Why didn't you die!"
"Hmph, hmph!" Fearless sneered and then spoke to the rest, "Little Chicky will go up next, a small card like him will only drag us down if we put him at the back."
"Makes sense!"
"I agree!"
"+1!"
Everyone nodded.
"Damn it!" Vainglory choked up with sobs
…
After losing three rounds, Spiritual Shadows finally realised how good the Quan Zhen Sect was.
Archer and Priest could even win against the Assassins which had an incredible ability to restrain people and that revealed that the two teams had significantly different levels of combat competence.
No wonder the organiser did not put much importance in the casual experts. If all the teams had the skill level of Spiritual Shadows, there would not be a reason for them to be of any importance.
Quan Zhen Sect would already find it hard to defeat retired professional teams, and not even to say teams like Spiritual Shadows.
Players from Spiritual Shadows knew that they would lose for sure, so the next one up was none other than their team leader, Shadow Craze.
Shadow Craze is a Warrior and the best player in Spiritual Shadows.
They still had a chance to win at least one match by sending their strongest player up to save themselves some pride.
If they lost this round too, they would not need to play for the later battles anymore and would save everyone some time.
