Martial artists always said that strength mattered more than skills.
It meant that no matter how well-versed one was with the skills, under complete strength difference, he would be helpless.
Ninety levels of difference was pretty scary. If the opponent was a brainless level 150 monster, Wang Yu still had a chance but Dominica's existence was close to a god-tier legendary BOSS. With such differences in strength, no amount of skills could make up for it.
This AOE skill covered such a large area so its damage was comparably not too high. But because of the 90 levels of difference, Wang Yu's top-tier equipment's defence was insufficient under Dominica's attack. "Wave…"
After suffering continuous arrow shots, his HP was left with 30%. The [Rippling Wave] opened up upon summon and this unformidable effect sent the arrows away from Wang Yu.
Wang Yu used the chance to open his bag, wanting to equip the Undying Heart. He knew that this magic could last another 15 seconds.
Just then, a gold token appeared before Wang Yu.
"Eh?"
Seeing that gold token, Wang Yu's eyes lit and quickly clicked on the use button.
Following the [Rippling Wave] crack, with a "Hoorah!!" sound, the space beside Wang Yu was torn open by a pair of golden dragon claws.
Under the strong wave of the magic, Dominica's deadly bone rain was forcefully stopped.
"Pfft!"
Dominica's body shook and he spat a mouthful of some black substance. His originally pale face looked even worse.
Just then, a dragon claw was about to grab Wang Yu but just then, the golden dragon claw stopped and retreated. Soon, a big golden dragon head peeped out of the tear then said with disdain, "It's you again? Why are you looking for me?"
That token Wang Yu found just now was actually the Dragon Emperor's token!
Dragon Emperor Dales was a strong NPC who could teleport and catch the person who used the token to his side at any time.
Logically speaking, in this dungeon's alternative space, teleportation devices were useless but Wang Yu noticed that the dead BOSS turned into white light just like in the main world.
Because of so, Wang Yu also realised that this challenge was a special location in the main world and not an alternative space, so this was not an inescapable dungeon. So long as they had a teleportation device, everyone could return.
Of course, for the Dragon Emperor, Dales, he could go to and forth as he liked.
"His… His Majesty Dragon Emperor?"
Seeing the space tear apart and the golden dragon head in it, Dominica's body shook and panickingly bowed onto the ground as the soul of fire in his eyes uncontrollably shivered.
Obviously, the fear between NPCs was not simulated by the system. This was the authentic fear of someone with higher authority.
"Hey, why are you so mean!" Wang Yu pointed at the room full of treasure and said, "There's so much treasure. I wanted to ask if you wanted them but look at your attitude."
"Treasure?"
Dales looked in the direction Wang Yu was pointing at and his eyeballs almost fell out and he drooled, as he nodded towards Wang Yu and said, "Good brother! You did not disappoint me!"
As he spoke, Dales turned into a macho man and jumped into the castle from the tear.
Dominica saw how Dales was brought into the castle by Wang Yu and almost cried. Dominica knew what Dales was like. It seemed like this castle full of treasure was going to have a new owner.
After Dales jumped into the castle, he wanted to pounce into the treasure pile immediately but Wang Yu hurriedly stopped him and said, "Why are you in such a rush? There's something else."
"Haha!" Dales laughed awkwardly then said, "Brother Bull, speak your mind! As your brother, your problem is my problem, your treasure is my treasure."
The higher level a BOSS was, the more shameless he was. Just now, Dales barely paid attention to Wang Yu but upon seeing these treasure, he suddenly remembered the contract which stated he was Wang Yu's subordinate.
"That's right…" Wang Yu nodded and said, "Actually, these treasures aren't mine yet."
"No problem!" Dales said while waving his hand dismissively, and unrestrainedly said, "Tell me whose it is. I'll kill him then these treasure will be yours! What's yours will also be mine!"
"…"
Dales' words left Wang Yu jaw-dropped. This dragon was really immoral. Other than killing to rob for treasure, his words also meant after he robbed, he wanted Wang Yu to bear the consequences for him. What? Why was he trying to be innocent?
Dominica was trembling with fear and had tears in his eyes. Now, even his life was not his.
However, Wang Yu called Dales over to kill Dominica for him so he was not bothered about Dales and his immoral actions.
Hence, Wang Yu pointed at Dominica and said, "These treasures are his. He even wants me to be his slave. Based on our relationship, do you think I can be his slave?"
"What? Be his slave?"
Hearing what Wang Yu said, Dales' expression changed.
Well, Dales' identity now was Wang Yu's subordinate so if Wang Yu became Dominica's slave, Dales would be third-in-line only.
Dales was after all one of the strongest in the entire game. Being Wang Yu's subordinate could not be helped but this ignorant one wanted him to be third-in-line. How could he swallow it.
Just as he finished speaking, Dales stared across.
Dominica belonged to the Dragon Race so how could he resist being stared at by the leader of the Dragon Race? He bowed flat down on the ground, causing a plop sound then said with a shaky voice, "Your Majesty, Your Majesty, I am Dominica. Don't you remember me?"
"Dominica?" Dales heard his name and his facial expression relaxed. He examined Dominica then scratched his head and said, "It has been thousands of years. Why have you become this pathetic mix of dragon and human?"
To the Dragon Race, everything else was beneath them. Even the Titan Race could not match up to them. A huge dragon turning into a filthy dead soul was a huge sin to them.
However, back when Dales journeyed the mainland with the Martial God, his way of thinking became more open so seeing that Dominica, someone of the same race, was in such a state, he felt some pity for him.
"I…" Responding to Dales' question, Dominica's trembling voice said, "I… I was obsessed with knowledge… I could not get out of it. So long as Your Majesty lets me off, I promise to change for the better."
"Oh!" Dales squinted and nodded his head slightly then said, "What about all your treasure?"
"They are your treasure," Dominica hurriedly said.
