Chapter 5：CHAPTER 5 : SHE'S CUTE

Josh had been working in the A company for a month already. He was trying to see the chance to take Phillip into his company, but the company didn't open any vacancy yet. He told Phillip to be waiting patiently then. Josh had finished his job that afternoon and got ready to had some dinner before he went to Caren house to gave her some tutor.

It's 6 o'clock, Caren waited him in the living room. She told the maid to prepared some dinner also. 5 minutes later Josh came "Hi Josh, come in sit here. I'm ready with my book." Actually Josh a bit tired, but since he had promised to her and the boss he tried to focus "OK let me see your book, which one you don't understand ?"

Caren showed him her last test and the other test also, Josh studied them for a while, then he started to teach her. Middle school material just simple matter to him since he was the smartest student when he was in high school. Caren listened to his explanation carefully and she began to understand them. An hour had passed, Josh ended his tutor that day and was getting ready to go home, when Caren asked him to have dinner together. He refused her, and she got frowned "I had prepared the meal already, come on please don't waste them !" Josh didn't dare to refuse her anymore seeing her frowned face. Then he went to the dinning room together with her. Doug had already in there and he told the maid to serve the meal on the table. They ate dinner together that night. Josh was so thankful to Doug and Caren for gave him a nice meal. He remembered since he got into that city he never ate a proper meal, just ate anything which could fill his empty stomach.

Josh gave Caren tutoring three times a week, he got extra money for it even he refused at first. He was glad he could earn extra money from it since he need it.

A month had passed, Caren's showed some progress with her mark that made her dad glad. Caren was happy and excited also every time she had her tutoring because she could see Josh longer and closer. Yes they relation got closer as time went by. She always full of smile beside Josh. Josh on the other side got touch in his deep down heart, once he glanced at her he said to himself "Ah she's cute !" But then he got sober up "She's a boss daughter, you can't see her !" then his mind got confuse, one side of him started interested on her but the other side held him because of his status and his dream. He was on his bed and getting ready to sleep, but his mind couldn't stop thinking about Caren's lovely face. But then he tried to repressed it and tried to get some sleep.

Josh lesser his tutoring for Caren since her mark was getting better. Josh also had some overtime work because of the new project. He drowned his mind to his workload. He forgot about his best friend Phil. He met some new friends there. One of his best friend called Mark Li. Mark was graduated from engineering school, he was a smart person, that's why Josh liked to stick to him everywhere, they often discuss about the engines and other things.

One day Josh went to Phil's boarding house. He thought he should see Phillip some other while. Josh unintentionally saw Brian and someone on his way to Phil's place, he just wanted to say hi to him but he halted then he followed them move away to a secluded place. He began to curious but suspicious also, he then sneaked out to hear them talking to each other. He heard their conversation covertly about the prices of the ships. He heard them for a while then they split up. He then concluded everything he just heard, maybe it was about the actual price and the deal price. Ah he just new in that company he didn't want to care about that. He then continue to walk to Phil's place and tried to forget about what he just saw and heard.

Josh :"Hi Phil, how's your job ?

Phil :"Well, not much different. My boss just bought a new ship bigger that before. So that we could loaded much more fish in there."

Josh :"Phil, wherever you are, you're still fisherman hahaha !" Josh laughed out loud.

Phil :"What's wrong with being fisherman ?"

Josh :"No, there's nothing wrong. I thought you had the same dream with me to own our own ship ?"

Phil :"Maybe if I go back to our hometown someday I'll have my own ship to help my father."

Josh :"Ouw it's a good idea. You can learn some new thing here and there now then when you'll go back you can start your own business, good luck pal. I'm sorry I can get you into my company in this short time."

Phil :"It's OK I'm still enjoying my work here. How about you Josh ? Have you met some girls there ?"

Josh laughed :"Well, not really."

Phil :"Come on just tell me will you ? Looks like you've found one ?"

Josh :"Nooo... you know Phil my focus is my goal to work hard to own a ship someday !"

Phil :"Hey, you can't keep secret with me pal. I've known you since we were kid !"

Josh laughed :"Am I that obvious to you ?"

Phil :"Is she pretty ? Prettier than Angel ? Is she aggressive like Angel ?"

Josh :"She is still a little girl or teenager but she's cute. She's my boss's daughter."

Phil :"Wow... looks like your mission will be accomplished sooner ! Just marry the girl and you'll own a lot of ships !"

Josh :"Are you crazy ? I'm not that ambitious to take shortcut like that. I'd prefer to work hard with my own effort to achieve my goal. Beside she's just thirteen years old !" How about you Phil, have you got someone on your mind ?"

Phil :"Hmmm... I met a young woman..... She's still young but married already."

Josh :"What ? You like someone who got married ? Are you crazy ?"

Phil :"It's not what you think. She was married, but her husband died in the sea few months ago while she was pregnant with his child. I feel pity to her she works hard alone as single mom. She's orphan, no family to support her."

Josh :"Oh I see... so she is widowed now with a baby ?"

Josh :"Well, why don't you be his father then ?" Josh laughed also.

Phil :"I'm not that confident to be a father at this young age, I still want to have some fun too sometime."

Josh :"Yeah you're right, me too. We're still to young to get married ! OK Phil I think I should go back now. See you some other time. You'd better visit me next time at my place !"

Phil :"Sure, see you pal. Take care ! Bye .."

Josh :"Bye... "

Josh went back to his apartment that night.
