Chapter 12：CHAPTER 12 : WHY DO YOU HELP ME ?

Josh and Hawk finally finished their work. Brian and Doug had got back two weeks ago by plane. Since the ship had ready to use , Josh and Hawk were planning to got back to their hometown now, they took the ship with them. They found two workers to help them with the help of Megumi.

Two days before Josh had asked Megumi "Have you decided yet you'll come with me or not ?"

Megumi :"Why do you want to help me ? We're strangers !"

Josh :"Yes we're strangers but somehow I feel like seeing you as my little sister. I think about my mom who lived alone, I thought maybe you can accompany her. But it's OK if you don't like to come with me."

Megumi :"Actually my house rent will end this week, your offer was in the right time, I don't have money to pay the rent too. But I was hesitated before because I don't now you. I can't trust you in the short time. Since I don't have much time left, I think I have to go with you."

Josh smiled, he knew she would come with him.

They've very busy since this morning preparing the ship to sail.

Hawk :"Is everybody get on the board ? Let's go now !"

Josh and the other agreed, they took the anchor up and get ready the engine. The ship soon was on the deep sea already. The sky was clear, the wind flowing coldly, the sun shined so bright that day.

Josh :"Meg, have you gone abroad before ?"

Megumi :"No, never, why do you ask ?"

Josh :"Don't you afraid ?"

Megumi :"Yeah, there is afraid, but as long as I've made up mi mind I have to prepare for the worst."

Josh :"Good ! That's my girl ! I think you'll be success in your life someday !"

Hawk came to the deck joint Josh and Megumi.

Hawk :"Who is this girl ? Why did she come together with us ? Will you introduce me ?"

Josh :"Sure, this is Megumi, this is my coworker Hawk."

Both Hawk and Megumi shook hands, but Hawk didn't release her hand for few minutes while she wanted to pull her hand up she got surprise.

Hawk : Why did you introduce me before Josh, such beautiful girl ? Did you plan to keep her for yourself ?

Josh :"No, it was just I didn't have the chance to do so. Now when will you release her hand, look you're frightened her !"

Hawk :"Hahaha... sorry girl, you've amazed me !" Hawk finally released her hand. She got embarrassed, then she excused them went inside her room. Hawk continued had chat with Josh.

Hawk :"Where did you get her ?"

Josh :"First time I met her at the deck of our inspection that day. You were inside the engine room. I heard someone bullied her. Later I found out that she got bullied many times by many people because of her father is a murderer. He found guilty to killed her mom's boyfriend."

Hawk :"Oh poor girl, she just had bad lucks to have her parents."

Josh :"Since then I pitied her, and I offered her to come with me. She agreed, so here she is now."

Hawk :"So, you're interested on girls now huh ?"

Josh :"I used to interested on girls before hahaha... but this time I just treat her like my younger sister. Don't you play with her dude !"

Hawk :"Ouh you're already play a role as big brother now huh ? hahaha.... So what is your plan for her ?"

Josh :"I will let her learn chinese and I'll send her to my hometown to accompany my mom when I'll be home on new year. I think she'll need to go to school again, she's too young.

Hawk :"Great, I'll still have some more times to be together with her hahaha...."

Josh :"Remember Hawk she's still too young to be playing around ! She's still 17."

Hawk :"Hmm.... still young huh it'll be great hahaha...."

They laughed out loud and continued talking to each other about everything till late at night. It took a week to sailed back to their hometown, and Hawk was enjoying his moments together with Megumi, he liked to teased her a lot. While Megumi started to grew her feeling toward Josh. They took turn everyday to cook for the meal, while they were on the ship. There were some times when the ship facing bad weather also, but they could manage the ship well and passed it. After a week finally they got into their hometown. Josh told Megumi before that she would stay with him for a month then, he would send her to his hometown to stay with his mom and get a school for her, she agreed with him.

Caren could wait any longer at her house, she decided to wait Josh at the harbor. When she saw a big ship came she thought it was Josh ship but it was wrong. She had been waiting for some hours in there, the sun was going to sunset when she saw a big ship came, she almost gave up hope, but she tried to figure it out. Finally she saw Josh on the deck, she screamt gloriously looks like her long await was ended. She ran to Josh and hugged him. Hawk got shock to see that , he said to himself "Just how many girls he had ?"

Caren :"Joooosssshh.... I miss you so much !"

Josh got shock and speechless.

Josh :"Caren please release, a lot of people see you and me !" he felt embarrassed in front of Hawk and the other.

Caren :"No I won't, I still miss you !" But then she saw a girl beside Josh "Who are you ?" She got surprise and release Josh body.

Josh :"Oh this is Megumi, I met her in Japan. Meg this is Caren my boss's daughter."

Megumi was giving her hand to shook but Caren ignored her. Caren got frown.

Caren :"Is she your girlfriend ?"

Josh :"Hahaha... no she's not. I'll make her my younger sister. Just get along with her well, you're the same age. About your gift, I save it in my bag, I'll give it to you tomorrow OK? Now, let's get back to your house first."

Doug was waiting for his team to come back, he's to curious about the ship.

Doug :"Welcome back my boys Hawk, Josh. I'm glad you can make it here. I've booked a room in a motel near your place, you can take those two men with you for rest. But who is this girl ?"

Josh :"Oh, she's my friend, I took her because she was alone with no family. She'll stay with me for a while before I send her to my mom. Her name is Megumi sir."

Megumi :"Nice to meet you sir."

Doug :"Nice to see you too young lady." He looked Josh "Is it your house full with men ? How about if she stay here for a while until you take her with you. I'm sure Ling can get along with her. They're about the same age I think ?

Josh thought it was a good idea, since he wasn't sure with the landlord either.

Josh :"I'm sorry sir I don't want to bother you. But is it OK for her to stay here ?"

Doug :"Sure, I have some empty rooms here."

Josh :"Meg, won't you stay here in my boss's house ? My place not really available for female actually."

Megumi :"OK, I'll stay here."

Now Caren's face got frown and she just walked away left them in living room. Doug knew her spoil behavior, he would talk to her later. He said to himself "Got jealous huh, let's see I'll definitely discipline you !"

Doug :"Don't mind her Meg, just make yourself comfortable here. Aunt Lan please show her the guest room on the left side. Let her take a rest before we'll have dinner."

Aunt Lan :"Yes sir, come this way miss I'll show you the room."

Doug continue to discuss about the ship with Hawk and Josh for a while then they had dinner together. Aunt Lan had prepared some delicious food for them. Megumi joint their dinner too, except Caren.
