Chapter 30：CHAPTER 30 : THE WINNER

Caren had gave birth to a cute baby girl finally after struggling for three hours. Hawk, Megumi and Josh's mom came to the hospital the next day.

Megumi :"So, it really is a girl ! What's her name ?"

Caren :"It's Candy Wu Yi Qian. We call it Qian Qian."

Megumi :"Ouw, it's sweet name, they will grow together someday as sisters."

Caren :"Yes, they will love and help each other."

Josh :"Mom, you don't have to tired yourself, you've old enough. We can take care of ourselves."

Jenny :"I'm not tired at all. I'm very happy to have two grandchildren now."

Josh :"How about you moved here together with us ? I have a plan to buy a house, we won't live in the apartment."

Jenny :"I think it's better for you to live in the landed house if you have a child, she'll need space more. For moving here I'll think about it again, cause I still have some job in there."

Josh :"OK you may consider my offer. Hawk I need to talk to you, let's have some talk at the cafetaria."

Hawk :"OK, what do you want to talk about ?"

Josh :"About my project at Caren's company, I want to make it into shipbuilding company, I think you're the right person to handle that matters ?"

Hawk :"Hmm... that's a good idea but don't you think we should talk about this with Mr. Ma ?"

Josh :"Maybe latter. I have another idea... I want to buy a house located in the suburb, it has a large space surround the house I think our children will need space more. It has two separate house in one area. So I thought it maybe suitable for us to stay there together. I plan to take my mom also to live with us there. What do you think ?"

Hawk :"It's a good idea, I'll tell Megumi about it. We can go and see the house if you have some time ?"

Josh :"Sure. OK I think you should go back now, is not good to bring your baby in the hospital too long."

Hawk :"See you Josh."

Josh took Hawk and Megumi to see the house he wanted to buy the other week.

Megumi :"Wow it looks like a nice house, but maybe it needs some renovations ?"

Josh :"Yeah, maybe I'll renovate a little if we had bought it. So, are you guys ready to live in this house ?"

Hawk :"It's OK with me, how about you Meg ?"

Megumi :"Fine with me too."

Josh :"OK then, let me and Hawk finish the paperwork."

They bought the house the next day, then Josh and Hawk made an appointment with constructions man he knew. They told him about they want, in three days the constructions man gave them the proposal and they started to renovate the house the next two days. The renovation took five months.

It's lunar new year again.... Just like usually three days after the celebration Shawn invited all of his managers and subordinates to had dinner at his house. They brought their family also, his house was so big, it had a swimming pool at back yard, and a nice garden. The party was held on his garden, this time Josh took Caren and their baby there too.

Shawn :"Wow, congratulations you have a baby now Josh, when will you held your wedding ?"

Josh :"Soon, Mr. Ma. Don't worry I'll invite you."

Shawn :"Josh can I have a little talk with you ?"

Josh :"Yeah sir."

Shawn :"OK meet me in my study room in fifteen minutes."

Josh :"Yes sir." He looked around for Caren then he told her to wait for him since Shawn wanted to talk with him.

Shawn :"How are you Josh ? I miss you, I haven't seen you lately at the office, where have you been ? You know I've treated you like my own son all these years.

Josh :"I've been doing a project, it's something about shipbuilding with Caren's company."

Shawn :"Wow, it's interesting. Please continue ..."

Josh :"I have long way dream to have my own ship, and I've already made it with your help, but this is not my own company and I can't make my own decision to expand my dream wider. That's why I have an idea to make Caren's company arise again with another purpose that is to be shipbuilding company. I know it has distracted my work at your company, I'm sorry sir for disappointed you."

Shawn :"Yeah, maybe I got disappointed a bit, but I appreciate your talent more. I think I've made a good decision few years ago to choose you as my apprentice ! You've shown me your achievements so far and it's satisfied me a lot. Since I've treated you like my own son how about I adopt you as my true son ? I don't wanna loose you forever ! You're my perfect apprentice."

Josh was surprised to hear it :"I'm very honor to be your son sir, but I don't want other will get jealous at me, like Mark ?"

Shawn :"Don't worry I will make him my second son also, I heard his adopted parents had died few years ago, so I can adopt him also right ? I'll arrange this matter with my lawyer in the next few weeks."

Josh :"Thank you so much sir, I dare not to be so greedy to be your son. I will work hard more and tried to pleased you in the future."

Shawn :"I also have an idea, how about I'll buy Caren's company and make it to be one of your divisions of shipbuilding, I think It'll make you work more focus on your job now. For the bargain I'll give you more shares at the ship company and I'll make you to be the CEO, so you can make your own decision more flexible."

Josh eyes got blinked and a big smile all over his face :"It will be a good idea sir, I agree with you."

Shawn :"You still called me sir ? I want you call me father from now on !"

Josh :"I'm sorry I'm not get use to it, but I'll try to call you father but not in the public. I don't wont anyone get jealous at me."

Shawn :"Hahaha...OKOK as you wish. You can go now, we'll meet again in the big meeting three days from now."

Josh :"Yes, excuse me ...fa..father." he smiled at him.

Shawn smiled and waved at him. Josh went back to the garden and took Caren back home.

Josh :"Caren, you've been busy with the baby since she was born now, I think you won't come back to the office right ?"

Caren :"Yeah, why do you ask this ?"

Josh :"I have some plans to make Hawk as the general manager to handle the company."

Caren :"It's OK with me, I know he can do it."

Josh :"But the company will be take over by my current company and it will be one of my divisions. Is it OK with you ?"

Caren :"Hmm... then it won't be any B company again in the future ?" She heaved a heavy sigh. "But I can do nothing with that company. I'll trust you, just do what you can to make it better, I just don't want to waste my dad's effort to make that company."

Josh :"OK then. Oh by the way our house renovation will be finished next two months. I have a plan to held our private wedding party on it's garden. What do you think ?"

Caren :"It's a good idea, but you have to rebuild the garden also to make it prettier."

Josh :"Sure I will !"

Shawn was sitting at the center of the table in that meeting room.

About five people had presented their achievements for a whole year, but the most profitable company was Mark's, the second was Josh's and the other three weren't profitable.

Shawn :"Well down my boys, good job ! Congratulation, You've got the most profitable company again Mark, but I don't think you win this time."

Mark :"How come sir ?"

Shawn :"Josh might not get profit as big as you are, but he had took over other company and had established a new division of shipbuilding, it means he had invested some of his profit to expand his business more. I'm sure he will gain more profit than you this year ! So, I think Josh is the winner this time ! Congratulations Josh !"

Josh :"Thank you sir."

Mark :"Wow, I never thought you're that ambitious brother ! I'm ready to fight with you more this year !"

Josh smiled to Mark.

Shawn :"I have another announcement to make. From now on Josh will be the CEO of my Ship company. Congratulations Josh, I'm waiting for your other achievement !"

Everybody in that meeting room were clapping boisterously for Josh. Josh stood up from his chair and he bowed to everyone and thanked them all.
