88 Aisling’s brother arrives

The house is quiet when Dude pulls into the drive. Seeing all the cars parked he figures that it's a house full. He lets himself in through the kitchen and throws a six pack in the fridge. Taking his duffle he heads upstairs. Not really knowing which room will be empty he goes to Debra's room. Aisling never lets anyone sleep there except for Debra.

He throws his duffle of the floor , sprawling out on the bed. He is asleep within minutes of his head on the pillow.

Aisling slips out of bed when she hears footsteps on the stairs. Peaking out she sees her brother going into Debra's room. Playing with her black crystal and paces the floor wondering why he did not let anyone know he was coming.

Astila wakes up watching her pace.

"Aisling what's wrong? Why are you not sleeping?"

Aisling turns and looks at him apologetically.

" I'm sorry if I woke you. I heard footsteps on the stairs and it woke me. It looks like my brother has arrived. "

Astila pats the bed beside him for her to come back to bed. She walks back to the bed and curls up close to him.

"Just remember I am here and I will not allow anyone to bully you. You remember when Debra was being snotty over you necklace from auntie Norma? I had a talk with the elders they told me all about your brother. I already know what to do don't worry." He kisses her forehead and pulls her close. He holds her till she is back to sleep. Reaching for his phone he texts John,steve and Yona that Dude arrived to be ready just incase. Turning back towards his wife he goes back to sleep.

The next morning John shows up for breakfast . Looking at the three of them he wonders just how much did they drink the night before. Steve seeing his brother laughing at his discomfort throws the paper towel roll at him.

"Hey I am nit the one who got drunk last night. So why am I the one getting things thrown at me?" John catches the paper towels and places them back on the table.

"Did you see your messages this morning?" John quietly asks his brother while getting a cup of coffee.

"Yep and already got a plan no worries. " Steve sips his coffee waiting for the women to finish setting the table. He notices Aisling is being careful not to touch any of the plates of food.

"Baby girl are you ok ? Your not having morning sickness are you?" Aisling smiles and shakes her head.

"No it's just that Cherokee people feel that it's dangerous for a pregnant woman to do certain things. So while we have a guest so as to not make them uncomfortable. I will just wash the dishes and such as that ." Giving her uncles a stern look , as if to say do not open your mouth. They hear someone moving around upstairs . Her brother is awake and everyone is holding their breath to see what he is up to.

He walks into the kitchen Astila looks at him. He is about the same height and build as Yona. He looks like Debra in coloring though he has the aura of his uncle's. He walks over and gives Aisling a hug .

"Morning Sis , Hey everyone how is it going?" Everyone mumbles good morning . John snickers

"Don't mind them they bonded last night so they will be a little grumpy."

"Oh yeah, Wow you're brave Aisling doesn't allow drinking in the house. I'm surprised you survived one of her tirades over it." He sounded sarcastic and cast his sister a disparaging look. Astila balled his fist up but Steve placed his hand over it and shook his head no .

"Actually she was the one to suggest it. We broke open a hundred year old scotch last night.john I heard that even though your a minister you like scotch so we did save you a shot. "Astila winks at John while baiting his brother in law.

"Oh Red, I didn't know you had it in you to actually let someone have fun. Then again I didn't think you would let a stranger in the house or your pants either." His voice is dripping with malice. Astila stands up ready to beat him when Aisling walks over and pushes him back down in his chair.

"Oh really I guess I got tired of being the only person in our family to not have a life . I mean Debra got married and you get to whore around the world . You even get paid to go all over. I wonder sometimes if I have any bastard nieces or nephews. I worry about just how many STD you might even have. Oh wait that's right only women can be whores in your eyes. Well let me tell you little brother I am a grown woman and I can do whatever I like. If you came to cause trouble there is the door . I will not have you coming into MY HOUSE and be disrespectful to me or anyone that is here!!!!!! I have always stayed silent when you have missed treated me in the past but no more. I am married and pregnant so if you want to mess with me be prepared. You will be buried and I will make sure no one ever finds your remains. " she walks past him and slaps the back of his head smashing his face on the table causing his nose to bleed. He scrambles to get the paper towels to stop the bleeding. The uncles look at him and grinned at their girl. Jin busts out in a roaring bout of laughter. Her nephew shooting her a hateful look. She sticks her tongue out at him. Astila and His siblings just stare after Aisling in shock. Steve puts his hand on his shoulder and winks at him.

"Well at least she took it easy on you. You should know better than to just show up and start baiting her. So why don't you tell us why you are really here." He looks at his nephew waiting for him to come clean.

"What I'm not allowed to come home for a visit anymore?" He looks at his uncles.

"Well considering that you came home without a word to anyone. You tried to make your sister feel guilty over getting married. You also have not even addressed your new family members. You want something and that usually means two things. Either you've gotten yourself in trouble and are trying to guilt Aisling into helping you. The other would be you have heard that she has money and want to stake a claim by making her feel bad about herself so she will give it up to you. Which is it?" John state's at his nephew making sure he is uncomfortable. He stands pounds his hand on the table and stares at his two uncles.

"That witch has gotten everything for too long it's time Debra and I get our share. She manipulated our parents into leaving her everything while we got nothing of value. She should feel guilty and ashamed cavorting with strangers and not thinking of her family." The tension in the room is high Astila wants nothing more than to take this person and beat him to death. He knows he can't he has to trust the uncle's in this.

Steve tells Jin to take Salali upstairs to check on Aisling and not to come back down till he calls. The women leave the room immediately.

John grabs his nephew by the front of his shirt and drags him across the table. Dishes are flying everywhere. When he has him nose to nose.

"Listen here you piece of shit. That woman is not only your sister she is the one who supported your family. She is the one who worked two jobs while you were screwing around with any skirt that would let you. She not only paid for every bite of food you had to eat, she also was the one cooking it. What did you do? What did Debra do? You both only kept taking and treated her like she was your personal servant. If you would like I can take you to the attorney office tomorrow. I can show you the legal documents that states every loan and debt she paid to ensure that you always had a home. How dare you think you are better than her . How dare you think you deserve anything that is rightfully hers. I don't know who told you about her having anything but nothing she has belongs to you or Debra. If you keep hurting her you will no longer have a family . What will you do then?" Steve puts his hand on john's shoulder letting him know that's enough.
