192 Going undercover

Yona is doing the final checks on the contracts when Eva calls him. 

"Yona I know that your not happy about Aisling investing in the business. Thank you for not stopping her. If we lose this business we lose everything." Yona hears the desperation in her voice. He thought about it a long time when he got here. When he saw her husband with the girl last night he decided if given the chance he would come clean with Eva. 

"Eva there is something you need to know. Your husband is being investigated by the police for fraud. His mistress has ties to a money laundering operation and I think she is setting him up to take the fall. Don't give him the money Aisling gave you keep,  it just incase I can't save your business for you. I am going to do what I can. Eva be strong and know your family is here." He hangs up before she can ask him anything. Eva slowly puts her phone in her lap as what he just said sinks in. The numbness of disbelief washes over her as her eyes well up with tears. Eva for the first time since her high school days doesn't know what to do. She calls Aisling and asks if they can meet at Marshal's bar. 

Eva walks into the closed bar behind Aisling. She heads straight to grab a bottle of tequila. 

Aisling looks at her cousin asking her. 

"Isn't to early for that? Eva what's going on ?" Eva sits on the bar stool and asks Aisling. 

"When did you know my husband was cheating on me?" Aisling knows what's going on now. 

"You talked with Yona and he told you?" Eva takes a shot and nods. 

"I was going to talk to you about it today. It seems the woman knows you and has something against you. According to the investigation report she had plastic surgery and changed her name during college. Did something happen to you during college."  Eva looks at her in disbelief she investigated her family. 

"Wait are you telling me you investigated us. You couldn't just take my word on things?" Slamming the glass down she glares at Aisling. Marshal comes out from the back still half asleep. 

"Ya, what are you two doing here at this time of the morning?" Going over to start a pot of coffee. 

"Marshal did you know our little cousin here had my family investigated?" Her speech is slurred after having drunk so much so quickly. 

" Hmm , if she is giving you money for something then I would say yes. Aisling investigates the markets and the financial situations of everyone she is going to invest in. That way she knows if her money will be helpful or if she needs to help in a different way. Like with Aunt Charlie she could not just give her money or Aunt Charlie would have just spent it and asked for more. So she pays her bills for her instead of giving her the money directly. Why did she check into your finances?" Eva looks at him dumbfounded.

"Your ok with her looking into your life like that? "  he smiles at her and says. 

Aisling takes a deep breath and begins. 

"Crystal overhead a conversation she had with her husband. She asked me about what she heard so I asked Eva if they needed help with the business. In the process of Yona checking into the business he found out that there is a police investigation going on involving the business. He contacted the police there and got some information. It turns out that Eva's husband has gotten into business with a known money laundering company. He is also cheating on her with a person who was planted by his business acquaintance. I guess Yona spilled the beans in order for her not to give the money I gave her to her husband. He is worried that she will lose everything including my money. " Marshal nods with understanding and gets up. He walks over to Eva and asks her to watch the bar he has an errand that could take a few days. He looks at Aisling and asks. 

"Make sure that Yona has bail money I will be back in a few days."  Grabbing his keys he walks out. Eva and Aisling look at each other and then it dawns on them what he is going to do. They both chase after him but too late he is speeding out of the parking lot. Aisling tries to call him but he has turned off his phone. Aisling calls Yona to give him a heads up. 

"Yona Marshal is on his way to Chicago. He just sped out of the bar parking lot. He is going to need a place to stay and some clothes. Try to see if you can control him some or you may need to bail him out. He knows about Eva's husbands cheating. When everything is over you can let him beat him to death" Yona stares at his phone and thinks to himself lord this family do they not have any self control. He tries to interrupt Aisling but can't so he waits till she is finished. 

"Ok , I understand but how did he know ?" Aisling sighs and explains 

" Eva called me over to the bar and is quite drunk and it's not even ten in the morning. He asked what was going on and I told him . Before I could say anything he was out of the bar speeding off. So now my guess is he is on his way to Chicago. If he drives there he will calm down after an eight hour drive. If he decides to try to get a commuter flight he could be there in a couple of hours. I don't know what he is going to do." Yona looks to the heavens and asks for patience and for Marshal to be safe. He hangs up from Aisling and turns to the detective. 

"We May have a bump in the plan. It looks like one of the cousins are on their way here to beat up our suspects. He found out that Grove is cheating and wants a piece of his hide. " the detective starts to laugh . 

"Oh man what kind of family do you people have. First your here to throw money around to help find away to save him. Now someone else is coming just to beat him. I don't know if I should feel sorry for the guy or not." Yona stares at the detective thinking I'm going to go crazy . 

"Well I came because my sister in law asked . Marshal is coming just because Grove decides to cheat. There is a difference. You should just be grateful that he isn't bringing my wife or my sister in law then Grove May need police protection from them." Yona chuckles at how Aisling without trying broke her brothers nose. The detective looks at his face seeing the ghost of a smile and asks. 

"They are women what are they going to do?" Yona bursts out laughing. 

"Well let's see , Aisling and Remi both are expert marksman in both bow and guns. They both have no problem breaking a mans nose or his balls. Then come to think of it They are just a female version of Marshal just scarier because they are women. " he pulls out his phone and shows the detective their family picture . The detective sees how tiny the women are and sighs. 

"Wow they are beautiful if Groves wife is as pretty I don't understand how he can cheat. I would love to meet such a beauty." Yona thinks about Eva and the detective is right Eva is a beautiful woman. Yona thinks about it for a few moments and tells the detective. 

"when it's all over I will introduce you to Eva . In fact if you have vacation time maybe you can come down and meet the family . It will be enlightening to say the least." The two men gather what they need to head over to Grove properties. Yona hopes he can get this cleared up and Grove into police custody before Marshal arrives. It could be the only way to keep him from getting a good beating. Yona knows if Marshal is anything like his uncle then Grove better be in custody or there will not be anything left of him. Yona looks at the man in question and wonders what are you thinking , Eva is such a beautiful supportive wife . She is Norma's daughter none the  less. No one is worth hurting her over. You stupid man you will get what's coming to you and it won't be pretty.
