204 Commander trouble 2

Morrigan hears Crystal's cries and goes to the waterfall to try to comfort her. Her small body shaking from her violent tears. Morrigan's eyes begin to well up with tears from watching such a small child crying out for another. Crystal turns her head as she feels Morrigan's arms around her. She buries her face into Morrigan's neck asking her. 

"Is my Cookie really going to die? " rocking her gently she tells her truthfully. 

"This time I don't know, only the father does. If you are right that the person holding him is a fallen one or Nephilim. Then only the father can decide if we can intervene. We have no control over what is destined only he dies. You know Steve had a gift when he was younger, he had the gift of healing. He could lay his hands on someone and know right away if they were sick or not. One day he was at the river with some friends and one of them was supposed to die that day. Steve used his gift to bring him back alive, I went to him and told him that it was the boys fate. He used blood magic to bring him back, his punishment was to give up his gift . He was ok without his gift; though he missed having it at times. I have told you before that we cannot change what is destined , we can only help when it's something that is not supposed to happen. For now all you can do is pray to the father to intercede on his behalf. None of you can use your gifts to solve this unless the Father decides its ok. Now go back to the house they are looking for you. " Morrigan watches Crystal as she runs back to the house. Uktena appears beside her. 

"Father is summoning you." Nodding they go to see the Father. 

Crystal walks into the house with her head bowed not wanting anyone to see her red eyes from crying so much. She hears the grownups talking. 

"I am sorry Auntie Jin but I don't know if we can help change anything this time. In the past they have come to us to tell us if we can do something . They haven't come to us this time. If it is destined we can't do anything. I want to go but I need their guidance to open a portal. Without it we could end up anywhere in any time. " Aisling explains to her Aunt. HeJin takes her hand in hers and quietly tells her. 

"Crystal I know you don't have control over dream walking so I'm not going to scold you. You have to be careful that you don't get stuck in the dream world. If you are there and something happens we may not be able to help. So please don't think of your cookie before sleep, also for the next few nights you will be sleeping with us that way if you do dream walk I will be right beside you. Do you understand me?" Crystal reluctantly agrees. She looks at John and asks him about Steve's gift. 

"My John did you know that my Cookie had the gift of healing and knew blood magic?" John looks at her in surprise. 

"How did you find out? No one here knew of his gift only me." 

"Did you know that he lost his gift because he brought someone back that was supposed to die?" Crystal knows her great -uncle is going to be upset but she wants to know who he saved.

" Yes I know I was there that day. He was about ten and we were at the dam . We were playing around and Sam's dad fell and hit his head on a rock. There was blood everywhere and he wasn't moving. Steve went over and not caring that others were around he tried to use his gift. It wasn't working his heart was barely beating and he was bleeding out. Steve took a pocket knife out and cut his palm. Placing it over the wound he began to pray having his blood mingle with Sam's dad. The blood flow started to slow and his heartbeat began to get stronger. He survived but Steve lost his gift. Since that day Steve has tried to fulfill what he thought was his calling but without his gift. That is one of the reasons we are so strict with Aisling using hers. We were afraid a situation would arise that she would go to far and lose it. For Aisling it would be much harder than it was for Steve ." Having a new understanding of her uncles reasons Aisling and Remi both promise to be more careful. Crystal hoes and sits on john's lap . 

"My John k cannot promise that I will always know when to use my gifts but I will promise that it will always be for good. My Cookie is still alive but I am afraid that the person is evil. He wants something from him. He knows he is special, I just don't know why he wants him. I asked Morrigan to try to find out. She says that she can't do anything unless the father tells her. So we need to fast and pray till we can't talk anymore so that the Father will bring him home, or send us to get him. I won't let anyone have him unless it is his time." John looks at the determination on her face and they all agree that one of them will always be in prayer asking the father for Steve to come home . 

Morrigan is waiting for the father when she hears a gut renching scream. Smirking she now knows where Steve is. The person torturing him is one of them, He can sense that Steve's blood is Nephilim. The father calls her just as she pinpoints where he is. Morrigan bows before the Father and asks. 

"Father one of the fallen has been causing havoc on  the mortals. He has one of my blood in his possession torturing him. I do not think it is his destiny to die by his hands. What do you wish for me to do?" 

The father answers her quickly. 

" the fallen one wants his blood so that he can regain his power. That cannot happen, since he gave up his power as a young child he cannot use it even though it's dormant. He will use him to try to draw the ones with active powers to him. He already sensed the child when she dream walked and found him. He will only become more obsessed till he gets one of them. You must completely bind the child's power so that he cannot Tao into it again. They will need to get him with out powers . You and Uktena can guide them but no powers can be used. No one with an active power can go. Put those who can help them where they need them. Your blood is the only one who can kill him. Make sure that the one he is holding captive has this. " A sacrificial knife appears in front of Morrigan. 

"He must pierce his heart with this . It is the only way he will die and never be able to comeback. Luckily this fallen one has no children so his evil will die with him. The child is determined to get Steve back she has not stopped praying. Have them pray and talk to me until it is done. That way their energy is focused on me and the fallen one will not be able to lure them. Now go there is no time to waste." Morrigan thanks him and goes to the family to yell them what needs to be done. 

When Morrigan enters the house she puts a everyone asleep. This way she can place 

barrier around the house and add a few extra protections around them. She places an extra crystal on the butterfly necklace around Crystals neck. This will completely block her gifts till Steve is safe. Waving her hand she wakes them. Crystal rushes to her side when she sees her.
