217 Salali and Randy have an announcemen

After everyone eats Randy asks for everyone's attention. 

"As many know I have been friends with Aisling since we were children and I have always been treated as family , well as of four thirty yesterday afternoon I officially became family. Salali and I got married in New York yesterday afternoon. I know that it is not the kind of wedding that everyone hoped for but we got married in a small church just outside the city. My band has been booked for the next eighteen months on a tour around the country. I didn't want to be separated from her and I also did not want anyone mistaking her for anyone other than my wife. I know we should have said something sooner so that others could be present but we just wanted to get married without all the fuss. We also didn't want to overshadow William and Crystal today , with asking for a wedding ceremony. We will have a big party when my band has a break in a few months. Also please if anyone talks to my mom don't tell her you found out first. She will be very upset about it. " Yona grins and winks at Aisling since they already knew this was coming. Astila was not surprised since Salali had gone to meet his parents and spent some time with them. Inola is very happy that Salali is married and happy. Salali raises her hand to get everyone's attention. 

"For now we have about two weeks before Randy has to leave so we will be home until then. So Aisling I will be here till the twins are born since the first few cities I cannot go with him. I think he married me so quick is because he is more afraid with the times we will be apart I might find someone else. "She joked with her groom. Everyone began congratulating the newlyweds. Remi motions to Aisling to follow her. Remi Debra and Aisling get together to make a plan. 

"So I have Randy's apartment key why don't we skip away and go make it romantic for them while they are enjoying the party. I'm sure he had not thought of that. Also that way we can figure out what they need as our wedding present to them. " 

the three go grab their husbands and start to make plans. Remi knows Randy only has a twin bed so they get the queen sleigh bed out of the attic to take over. Since that mattress is new from when Remi was hurt they won't need a new one. Gathering new sheets and blankets they head over to Randy's apartment. Remi got the flower shop key and stopped on her way to grab some fresh flowers, Aisling went to the grocery store to buy some essentials , Debra went to the apartment to help the guys set up the bedroom. 

When leaving the apartment one of the other residents saw Remi, she wanted to discuss an issue with her apartment. Yona and Remi stay behind to talk about the issue while the others leave. The woman has been a resident since the building was new she has never liked Remi because of being a single mother. Looking at Yona she asks. 

"So are you her new boy toy, I must say you are better than the one who owns the bar?" Yona didn't know if he wanted to laugh or be angry at the old lady. So he thought he would embarrass her instead. 

"Oh you mean Marshal, yes I am much more suited to Remi than him considering he is her first cousin. I am Remi's husband by the way not her boy toy. " he hands her his business card that clearly states he is an attorney. The woman looked at him in surprise and then saw they had matching rings. Yona looks at her and clearly speaks so she gets the point. 

" You should not judge people you do not know, yes Remi was a single mother but she is not someone who sleeps around. To talk about her in that way is a crime and punishable by law especially if it causes her harm in her business. So let me ask you this, how many people have you spoken badly about my wife to? Do I need to interview the other residents to find out."Yona uses a stern but respectful tone with her to get his point across. The woman looks fearful that he is going to take legal action she begins to stutter and try to apologize. 

"I never meant any harm it was just talk." She looks at Remi as if to ask help me. 

Yona tells her a few more things. 

"Imagine how your malice has made her child deal, an innocent child who has never done anything. Did you know by looking down on her you  actually was supporting a raspiest and woman beater who has no respect or care for women. Someone who tried to kill more than one person. Is that the kind of person you  support?" Glaring at her she takes a step back. The full understanding of what he said dawns on her and she turns and looks at Remi and asks. 

" Why did you never correct me or say anything? You always kept quiet and just took what people said as if it was nothing." Her voice more apologetic than before. 

Remi smiles at told her. 

"I knew the truth , would you had believed me or just said I was making excuses? It was no one's business but mine and as long as I showed my child how to be strong and kind . That was all that mattered to me. I was always so proud of her when she would see the needs of others and quietly give them what they needed. Like seeing someone look longingly at a cake in the store and later have it delivered . Someone have a hole in their shoe and play a game so she could draw there foot on a paper. This way she could get them a new pair of shoes. " Remi watched the woman's face turn white as she remembered that every change of season she would find a new pair of shoes on her door step. On her birthday a cake would be delivered. Crystal did this for her when she had been so mean to her and her mom. The old woman felt so ashamed that she excused herself and went inside her apartment in tears. Yona takes Remi's hand and they go to leave just as Salali and Randy arrive. Greeting them Yona and Remi congratulate them. 

"So you get married without a word , Salali you always did do things your own way. If your happy we are happy for you. Just do me a favor when you have a child be careful with her. She is going to be special and there will be people who will want to use her for evil. " Yona hugs his sister and shakes Randy's hand. Remi and Yona leave to go home while Salali looks at her brother with a puzzled face. Randy takes her hand and they go to their apartment. When they walk in they see flower petals on the floor leading the way to the bed room. There they see the new bed filled with flower petals . There is a note. 

" hope you enjoy your first night as a married couple in your home. The family. " Randy read the note to Salali and smiles. 

"They still found a way to make a fuss, that must have been why Yona and Remi was here. I'm sure that Aisling and Debra were in on it to. Show we go see if there are anymore surprises?" They go into the kitchen and there is a bottle Champagne with some strawberries. The refrigerator was filled food. Randy hands the strawberries to Salali and grabs the Champagne . They head back to the bedroom. Randy gives Aisling a call. 

"Hey, new sister in law we got your gift. Thank you for fixing the apartment for us . " Aisling smiles at Astila and answers Randy. 

"you are more than welcome, just enjoy your night and make my sister in law happy. You know I love you , I have for many years you are my brother in my heart. Now you are by marriage I'm happy for you both. Do me a favor when you have a little girl just be careful with her especially in crowded places. " Aisling hangs up and hopes that her little warning will stay with them do that their child will never be kidnapped. Not knowing that Yona had already warned them . 

Randy looks at his phone and then at Salali. 

"She said something similar to Yona. That we need to be careful of the child we will have. They must know that something happens to our child. Now we know we will have a girl." He comes across the room and takes his wife into his arms.

"you want to make our baby girl?" Kissing her deeply as he begins undressing her.
