12 Lets just have fun

*Beep*

Henry brings out the paper that Rosie wrote her number on from his bag and begins to dial the number. While dialing the number a series of thoughts rushed through his mind.

(N/b: Hello there, umm I didn't know how to write Henry's thoughts so I'm going to use * to indicate his thoughts I hope you'll understand)

*What if I panic and make a fool of myself on the phone, what if she doesn't pick up, this is a terrible idea, what if she gave me a wrong number!!!*

Without knowing Henry had already dialed the number and called, by the time he could collect his thoughts the call had already gone through.

\"Shit, there is no going back now, why did I call so soon, I'm such a dumbass, please don't pick up!!\" Henry said out loud

The call was picked

\"Hello?\"

*Fuuuccccccccckkkk, she picked up I'm screwed!!. I'm gonna mess this up before we even meet and I'm gonna loose the battle before I even get to the battle field, what should I do*

\"Is anyone there?\"

*I have to be relaxed and reply so it won't be weird*

With his heart racing Henry help the phone to his mouth \"Hey, how are you?\"

\"I'm good but it would be nice to know who this is, don't you think?\"

*I forgot to introduce myself, I'm such a dumbass*

\"This is Henry from your class, you gave me your number after school today\"

\"Oh! Hello Henry, I was wondering when you'd call, why do you sound so scared?\"

*Wait what?!, she was expecting me to call today, I thought it was too soon and she might think I'm creepy and how can she tell that I'm scared*

\"I wasn't scared I just thought it was too soon\"

\"Well, how else was I supposed to save your number, wouldn't it be weird if an unknown number called me all of a sudden and ask me to the carnival\"

\"Oh I didn't think of it like that, you sure you're up for the carnival\"

\"Of course it sounds like fun, I haven't been to the carnival since I got here\"

\"Well, I haven't gone to the carnival yet\"

\"Why?!\"

Henry was scared of heights but he was not ready to tell Rosie cause he will feel embarrassed so he clinched the phone and said, \"Umm no reason I just haven't been there\"

\"Well let's just have fun and experience it\"

\"Yeah let's see how that goes\"

\"I gotta go, got homework to do and my Dad would be mad if I slack off\"

\"Oh yeah, we got assignments today need to get on that\"

\"Bye Henry see you later\"

*Beep*

*That went better than expected, what was I so worried about, I think I'm just over thinking this*

Henry's mum walked into the kitchen and asked abruptly, \"Was that Chris calling?\"

\"Why would it be Chris calling he just left\"

\"You only talk with Chris for that long, who else could it be?\"

\"I have other friends mum\"

\"Alright son\"

Henry kept his phone in his pocket and ignored the sarcastic reply his mum gave opened the fridge and brought out leftover cookies and went to his room to start his homework.

\"Don't forget to shower\"

Henry closes his door and starts to collect his thoughts.

\"No backing out now I gotta be ready for anything\"

*This is gonna be a challenge*
